-The owners were amazing. They were always very quick to respond to questions and concerns.
-The location to the beach was perfect. My husband and my mother in law both struggle with health issues that prevent them from walking long distances. So the proximity to the beach was very important.
- The rain shower heads were amazing. And the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. We brought our own, but it was a nice touch.
-Everyone said their beds were comfortable and they slept well. Unfortunately, my husband and I had the ONE uncomfortable one. It was too hard and definitely hurt our backs. Back left bedroom…..it’s a horrible mattress. I slept on the couch the first night because the bed hurt too much.
-It was a nice sized apartment. There were 8 of us. After one night downstairs, the kids felt more comfortable upstairs on the couch…..it slept 3 kids comfortably.
PLEASE NOTE: We did contact the owners and they offered to send someone to fix things, we declined since we were only there 3 days.
There were a quite a few things that needed to be fixed. They weren’t a huge issue for us since we were only there 3 days, but any longer, it would have been a problem.
Some minor things like broken towel rack and toilet paper holders, the “uncomfortable bed” had a broken frame, the tv in one of the rooms wasn’t hooked up to cable and the fittings were broken
Comically, one bed was entirely too high, and there was no stool to get up. I joked I would need to pole vault into the bed, and hopefully wouldn’t roll over and fall out. And the bathroom mirrors in one bathroom were perfect some someone who is 6’5”.
We cooked every meal at the apartment, so the stove and toaster were a problem, but we worked around it. Only the 2 burners left side of stove worked and the large one in the middle (but we used large skillets, so we couldn’t use the middle burner at the same time as the left ones). We didn’t use the oven, so I cannot comment on that.
Only the right 2 of the 4 slot toaster worked (when you have 8 ppl, this matters). The toaster also didn’t pop up on its own. So you had to watch it to make sure you didn’t burn your toast. Definitely needs to be replaced.
We had an issue with the smoke detector downstairs constantly going off. The kids were downstairs and didn’t sleep all night. I was on the couch because the bed was so uncomfortable and hurt my back. The detector woke me up a couple times, as did the kids every time they ran up the stairs because the detector went off. It was not a good night. We did opt for someone to come and fix it. He took it with him to get new batteries and said he would come back. He didn’t come back, but we were just happy it wasn’t making noise.
Many ppl commented about the downstairs being musty and humid, and it was. There were 3 dehumidifiers, but it still wasn’t pleasant downstairs.

Cleanliness and Location
Parking, lot of stuff was not usable and it kind of ruined our partial experience. basement was not dehumified. parking options were told incorrectly, and infact police came and they told us to remove vehicle from parking in front of building.
