The grounds were charming. We loved the overall atmosphere. The desk clerk was very helpful. If ever in Eze again, I would definitely chose this hotel.

This is a really nice hotel in a peaceful and beautiful location, bus access to the village or there’s easy parking at the hotel if you drive. The buffet breakfast was excellent and included a hot cooked to order eggs and bacon if you want it. Gardens and pool are very nice. Rooms are very clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel with pretty garden.
Good breakfast and comfortable bed.
Convinient location to visit Eze vilage.
Helpful stuff.

We had chosen this hotel based on it having a restaurant, as we knew it was a more remote location and would help us not having to drive to other areas to find one. When we arrived, we were told it had closed a month ago but no-one had communicated that to us. Luckily we had a car but it was annoying to have to drive to find somewhere to eat in the evening.
The hotel itself is pleasant, very quiet and is a good base (if you have a car) for Eze village and nearby towns.

Very comfortable stay on our way to Italy. The staff is warm and helpful and the town is charming.

My recent stay at The Eze Hermitage was a horrifying ordeal that should serve as a stark warning to anyone considering booking a stay there. The nightmare began with the absence of air conditioning in our room, which forced us to leave the balcony door of our second floor room slightly ajar for ventilation. This lack of comfort turned into a catastrophic lapse in security when an intruder managed to climb up onto our balcony and break into our room. We woke up to find the man crawling into our room and stealing $400 worth of our belongings.
To add insult to injury, when we rushed downstairs for assistance, we discovered that the front desk was deserted and there was no night security, contrary to what the management had claimed. We were left to fend for ourselves in a distressing situation that could have easily been avoided with proper safety measures.
Clearly, we found another hotel for the second night of our trip, as staying at The Eze Hermitage was no longer an option. Despite the severity of the incident, the inn demonstrated a shocking lack of accountability and customer service. After enduring a week of fruitless back-and-forth communications, they made a great show of their so-called "generosity" for not charging us for the second night we didn't stay and grudgingly offered only a partial refund for the one night, which does nothing to compensate for the trauma and financial loss we suffered.
In summary, The Eze Hermitage exemplifies negligence and poor service.

The property is in a good location, a short drive away from Eze village and boasts gorgeous gardens and a pool. The room was comfortable and the balcony was spacious. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast. Only minus was the fact we kept getting mosquitoes (we assume from the vent) and had to kill 12 over one night which kept us up until midnight.

The hotel was super cute and cozy. The staff was amazing. Johanna even went as far as to give me a lift to help me out and gave me her bus pass. Brought tears to my eyes it was so sweet. Felt like I made a friend!! Very romantic get away for people and a great breakfast. Ty!!!!!

Our short 4 day stay at the Eze Hermitage was an enjoyable time. The staff were very helpful and managed to educate us on the super bus service that ran from just outside the hotel, whereby you can get to Èze Village, Nice & Monaco for €1.74 a trip using the Lignes D’Azur app and card system (thank you staff). The bus is essential for non car drivers as the hotel is someway out of town, on the edge of the beautiful national park(fabulous walks and views on the doorstep).
The gardens of the hotel are beautifully planted and maintained and a pleasure to sit in, the swimming pool in the garden is also beautifully clean and well maintained albeit unheated.
Our bedroom was small but comfortable and clean with a well appointed and clean bathroom.
The only disappointment with the Hotel being that the restaurant has been closed down and no food could be purchased(other than breakfast). This made life a little awkward and a shame, especially as we had planned to eat at the restaurant, having read some good reviews about it. It would have been useful to know in advance from either the Hotel or Expedia that the restaurant was not available.
Would we go back for another stay - almost definitely.

Nice and quiet b&b up in the hills above Èze. I was pleasantly surprised to find their pool is a saltwater pool and is nicer than it looks on their website. A nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

This hotel was extremely accommodating. Dario and his staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect! We appreciated the directions to nearby attractions. The breakfast was also great. We will definitely stay again when we return to the south of France!

We had the pleasure of an outstanding stay at Eze Hermitage! Dario the hotel manager was superb at this magical place. My wife and I have traveled to the French Riviera numerous times but this vacation was the best by far due to the valiant efforts of Dario and his assistant Natalia. This holiday was a birthday celebration for my wife and Dario made it an unforgettable experience. His French hospitality is unsurpassed! The hotel has an amazing location on the hilltop above Eze village and all the comforts of home. Eze Hermitage is private but convenient to restaurants and shopping. Dario served as our private concierge to make sure we had an amazing time. Eze Hermitage is truly a slice of paradise! We cannot wait until our next trip to this dream destination!

Beautiful garden, hotel and ideal location when travelling with a car. Unfortunately it has a mobile phone antenna on its roof what we realised when leaving. One of us could not sleep perfectely.

We knew this property was non refundable, but given the circumstances of Covid 19, I think an exception should be made. We were not allowed in the country so I don't see how we can be held accountable for this. Needless to say I will not stay there when the travel restrictions are lifted.

We arrived after an 8 hour drive looking forward to a glass of wine on our terrace overlooking the sea. There were few issues.
Firstly, we booked a room with a Sea View and balcony.
The balcony was large, but as the hotel acknowledged, there was no sea view from this room. It was blocked by trees. Instead, it was just a balcony overlooking a fairly busy road. "Not my fault and we are fully booked" said the hotel employee. No gesture of apology. Lovely.
Secondly, on Sundays there is not only no restaurant but there's no bar service. There's also no minibar or fridge in the room. No drinks on the terrace for us.
Plan B: Head into the main village for a drink. The village of Eze is charming and delightful (although not particularly close!). We were told a bus departed every 10 minutes, but in fact it was twice an hour. We chose to drive instead of missing the sun, and left our car in a car park in the village (25 EUR overnight). The old town was delightful and the real highlight of the trip.
The restaurant and grounds were great. Service and food were 10/10. Huge portions of quality food.
The room was TINY. No drawers, only 4 hangers, and no space to keep a suitcase open (see pics). There was good sound proofing from the road but we could hear guests going up and down the stairs - internal sound proofing could be improved.
If we had been given the room we chose, or if the hotel at least acknowledged its issue, overall impressions would have been better.

I've arrived at the conclusion that this website is a bit of a con!
I am convinced that people booking through this medium are always given the crappiest room(s) available.
Not at any one of my stays (that have been booked through hotels.com) have I been given the 'luxurious' looking room that I thought I had selected?
Plus it's actually cheaper to book direct!
On this particular booking I was shown a cost of 419 Euros, but the total was 560 Euros? I'm not sure how it amassed a whopping 141 Euros?
We did however successfully 'upgrade' to a much better room for 50 Euros a night.
I wonder what we would have got for that with booking.com?
I don't think I'll be using booking.com in the future, I'll go direct to the hotel I'm looking to book!

Very peaceful and quiet location yet easy access to surrounding location. Medieval village of Eze and its garden is a must see

Dario, Maurizio, and Natalia greeted us with a very warm welcome. They answered all of our questions about the area, dining, and how to best enjoy the medieval village of Eze. The room was so lovely with a balcony and a view of the mountains. This is an ideal place to stay close to Eze village with its incredible views and old village. The charm of the area and the beautiful lodging were only surpassed by the warmth and hospitality of Dario, Maurizio, and Natalia. We wish we could have stayed longer but we can't wait to come back!

Great stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room if a little small. Lovely pool and gardens. Excellent evening food, limited menu but all good. Only criticism would be breakfast, a little chaotic at times!
