Overall it was a great stay, clean and ready for us we just needed to clean the grill and run a load of laundry left in washer and dryer but other than that place was spic and span and had all the things we needed except a lobster pot and and crackers but we made do with a mallet and the two small pots.
The cottage is peaceful and quiet and what a view. The kayaks and lake are definitely worth diving into, and be sure to go check out the lil islands and do some fishing, all good!
Lots of room to spread out inside and out, we had lots of rain our week so didn’t get on the lake but twice but it was still worth it with the rain because of view of the lake from the big picture widow in the LR, so instead we played Monopoly and Uno and enjoyed catching up on some Netflix.
Ryan the owner was very responsive and quick to answer our questions and took care of an issue witt the fridge with a rebate since he couldn’t get the fridge repaired while we were there. Aside from the fridge being noisy and not being cold enough everything else was perfect and we would love to spend more time at this little cottage on Lake Todd in the future!

We decided to come back to Lake Todd after many years away. We fully enjoyed Ryan’s cabin as the view is spectacular. The photos are representative of the place. Ryan was always responsive for any questions I had before we arrived. Canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming reign supreme. The surrounding towns are quiet but a few good eateries can be found. Hiking is close by. A very relaxing time was had by all.

Our family stayed for a week, great location close to good restaurants. Nice spot to swim for little kids and/or float. I suggest water shoes. I also suggest taking the kayak and canoes out over the islands.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. The place is a good size place, however it is not as large as portrayed. Very good photography. The ceiling tiles are very old, and there are chunks taken out of them. The cabinets are very sticky to the touch in the kitchen; most likely from cooking and grease. This property isn't cheap so I feel that for the money we spent "off season"; it wasn't worth it. The microwave seemed like it needed to be replaced. We had to reach out to the owner to ask about papertowels because the cleaners didn't have a full roll on the spool, and there was none in the areas they stated they were. There was about an inch worth of dish detergent in the bottle. We ran out, but didn't bother asking the owner for this because we already saw the supply cabinet when we had to search for the paper towels...and there was no dish detergent so we had to go out and buy some. The place was clean, just old and outdated. The stone wall outside is lined with pavers, but they're not secure so a couple of times they came out of place, and fell on our dog's paw. There is nothing to do around here, even in the Town center. One restaurant (not open), the ferry dock, and a country store that wasn't open. Not a place for young children, or teenagers at that. The lake was beautiful, and so peacfeul. Nothing bad to say about that at all. The amount per night was too steep for the rental. The owner was super kind, and responsive. It just needs attention.

This is a nice little place right on the water. The house itself is dated, but the amenities and furniture are not worn and are comfortable. I dinged one star for cleanliness only because there were cobwebs in many corners and the hot water had a bit of an odor, kind of like a mild campground smell. Otherwise, the place contained a nice array of games and toddler toys, as well as infant/toddler books so my kids were well entertained. I was delightfully surprised to find a range of lifejackets for use with the canoe/kayaks and we were able to take our young children out on the lake, which was a highlight of the trip! It was easy to find the place, plenty of parking space, and the host was very communicative. Plenty of towels, blankets, sheets and a crib available. Short drive to a few restaurants, Mt. Sunapee and towns for activities. Warner had a nice Fall Festival we attended, as well as a fun telephone museum that our kids (and I!) loved. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit but I would stay here again and it would be lovely to sit by the fire and look out on the water.

Our family had a wonderful stay on Todd Lake. The lake was warm and fairly shallow, which was perfect for our 6 year old. There were kayaks and a canoe. We had our own boats, but the small kayaks were good to tug along our son too explore the blueberry-covered islands.
Location was good to visit Sunapee and Wadleigh State Parks. We visited a science museum in Vermont on a rainy day, which was better than expected.
Only issue was the smoke detector in the kitchen. It went off nearly every time we cooked, including once when we were only cooking toast.

Our stay was great. The property is situated on a lake that is a nice intimate size and doesn’t have all the high boat traffic that a larger lake typically has.
The house is rustic, gives a feeling of being at camp yet possess many comforts of home.
The property owner was very responsive. The primary bed was fairly comfortable.
Everyone enjoyed themselves. We would be happy to stay again and would recommend.

Rustic style home with spectacular views on Todd lake. Enjoyed lots of fishing, kayaking, hiking-daily visits from a family of ducks and relaxing by the fire. Ryan was great with the detailed instructions prior to our arrival and when we encountered a few hiccups he was responsive. This is the perfect place if you want to kick back, relax and make memories.

This was a very cute little cabin on the water. We really enjoyed the ability to kayak or canoe and spent both nights around the campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Although we came I. The spring and the water was still a bit cold we all want to come back for a weekend in the summer to really enjoy the lake :)

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Could not ask for a better location. The small lake was very charming. In the second week of October we were the only people on the lake. Made the canoeing oh so enjoyable. The fall foliage was spectacular. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage. It was the perfect place for a quick get-a-way for us. Amanda and Ryan were the perfect hosts.

Peaceful weekend on a beautiful lake! We enjoyed having the steps down into the lake for the kids and kayaking out to the islands. House was comfortable and well appointed. Communication with hosts was superb. Great area as well. Close to all the Mt. Sunapee region has to offer and great food minutes from the cabin.

This house has all the lake equipment you could ask for and it has a beautiful patio to sit and enjoy a fire in the fire pit or watch the boats go by. The beds were extremely comfortable and supportive, which is something I must have when I travel.
The host was extremely attentive to our needs and returned my messages promptly!
I was disappointed in not having air conditioning, especially when we had a day of 99 degrees. The numerous fans did not cool it off. Other than the AC it was a very pleasant trip for us!
