Doesn’t look great from the outside but fine inside as long as you’re not in one of the “upper floor” rooms of this dormer bungalow type house. Low sloped ceilings. Not ideal for a tall person. Facilities very good, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a nice sun room were you can eat your meals.

It’s clear instruction for check-in, the owner called me to ensure everything was good or not. Just an unlucky me, i was taking showers in room temperature water, the owner told me it might cause all rooms were booked, try again after 30minutes, it’s work finally.

The room
Was small but fine they need to be more clear that most of this property is shared like the washer and the kitchen and common area of your ok sharing all of that with strangers than this place is fine

Picture on Expedia very misleading - it does not look like this. Walls paper thin, could hear someone eating a bag of chips.

This was an emergency stay, and it was sufficient for my needs at the time. There is off-street parking. I felt safe here. It is walking distance from groceries, pubs and restaurants, a bus stop. It was surprisingly quiet, although one can hear things from the neighboring rooms. The noise level was not distracting or intrusive. The room I stayed in was quite small, but sufficient. It could use a facelift, though. A nice bright set of curtains would do wonders. The bedding was fresh and of decent quality. The bed was comfortable, but squeaky. The main problem for me was with the water. The manager told me ahead of time that it would be off for maintenance, which I appreciated. But then it went off again the following morning, as well. When it came back on, I had no hot water. I phoned the manager, and he was very concerned and immediately called a plumber to fix it. All good...until the next morning when the hot water was off again. This is probably something they will deal with, as the manager was responsive when notified about the problem. It made my particular stay awkward and a little uncomfortable. I cannot comment on the shared kitchen facilities, as I did not use them.

Arrived early but was allowed to park and go into town which was great, However, received call late afternoon to say problem with our original room so new codes would be sent to access adjoining room. These weren't received as I continued to wait. Made contact about an hour later to advise not received and subsequently told codes sent to wrong number. New codes then received but far to late to get back to accommodation to check in and get back into town to attend show. Eventually had to check in after the event so basically got there after the show, went to bed, and left in the morning - all a bit of a strange experience really (but served a purpose I guess).

Very kindly let us have a late check-in due to traffic delays, but the room had not been cleaned since the last occupier and resembled a landfill. Couldn't stay in the room, so had to leave to find another hotel.
