Very convenient for seeing friends and the city
Would have been nice to have dedicated parking

Did not have breakfast not sure it was included. I think there was only a coffee machine.
Did not expect more could have been slightly cheaper.

Location very gd. Coffee machine nice touch & lovely bath.

The location to Canterbury High Street was terrific.
I stupidly "presumed" that what appeared to be a B&B, had only one B....the Bed. My fault. The bed was more like a slab....rock hard. Only one light switch for the entire room. The bathroom had a bifold door that was truly ridiculous to close. The bathroom sink was big enough for only a very small goldfish, incapable of allowing one to simply brush teeth. Not enough room for a desk so you either laid in bed or sat on a sofa. The front door to the Abbey was continually left unlocked which meant any burglar who knew it was unlocked could come in and maybe give the room door a try to see if it too was left unlocked. Lastly, the picture shown above is a joke. Our head board didn't look like that because......there wasn't one.

Very close to everything - walking distance to train if this is how you travel … please note car park the street before accommodation - secure … 24 visit us 10 pound which we were happy with or if you are lucky there is street parking .. Hand snd body cream smell lovely!!!!
Nothing all good

the room was clean and modern
toilet far too small to use.Was told there would be parking this turned out to be in the street and was limited to four hours with no return. The owner told us we could park up the road for free this turned out to be another lie as all the roads were pay at the machine and all restricted to four hours

Great location, immaculately clean room, good bathroom facility, tv and drinks machine
No Wi-Fi, bed as hard as a rock, cold room, electricity went off and checkout time was earlier than stated on Booking.com. Wi-Fi - I didn’t even think to check when booking as thought it would be the ‘norm’. Bed - had to put towel underneath me to raise my lower back to be able to get ‘some’ sleep. Electricity off - so had to tether off my phone to use my iPad on phone hotspot to check Canterbury activities and when I woke in the morning phone hadn’t charged as electricity was off!!! Had to get dressed before I showered to go downstairs to find someone to sort out the power …. Cold room - put on radiator in room and it still didn’t come on so had to sleep in my fleece. You are asked to put keys on departure on a shelf - so I couldn’t speak to anyone about the issues I had. You have to check in before 6pm so did this around 3.30pm - no contact details provided if you have any issues.

It had the coziness of a home, very clean and tidy
I loved everything

Very near city center
Very small rooms

The house is within walking distance to the city centre. Free parking a few hundred meters further down the road. We had the room with an enormous wood carved bed.
The hot water didn't work. The coffee maker didn't work also. The sink in the toilet is too small to be able to properly wash and brush your teeth. There are no accessible electric plugs. There was a lot of noise in the street in the early morning as people were cleaning the empty lot in front of the house. There is no Breakfast opportunity. Before you come you have to fill in a form. They didn't respond to our questions beforehand about check-in and free parking. In conclusion the price doesn't match the quality.

The room was lovely, really clean and cosy. Host was very polite and informative about the area.
It was a shame about the parking situation but luckily we did not get a ticket

Location was brilliant

The hotel was conveniently close to the city centre just a couple of minutes walk from Westgate gardens. There's no parking on site but we managed to park about two hundred metres away on the same road where parking restrictions were less restrictive. The room was nice and clean but the bed mattress was a bit harder than we're used to, it was okay though but if you like a soft mattress it wouldn't have been ideal (can only vouch for our room obviously). There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the bathroom was nice and clean. We had a lovely night's rest as the road outside is quite quiet (well on Sunday at least). We were greeted by a friend of the owner, he was very polite and helpful so we felt very welcome from the start.
The bed mattress was a little too hard for my partners liking but that said we both slept well. There was a coffee machine with pods but would have preferred a small kettle really (this is just a personal preference though).

The person I spoke to on the phone
he member of staff I spoke to over the phone before I travelled was very pleasant. However, we needed to message the owner as my car has broken down prior to our visit and wanted to delay our stay for a week or so. The owner was away on holiday but replied refusing to accommodate my request. So I borrowed a friends car and drove from London. When I reached the area I was unable to find the property as it wasn’t signposted so I called and spoke to the same gentleman. He was very helpful before and asked him where the property was and where I could park? He said I couldn’t park close by because there was no parking and directed me to a private car park which is permit only. I questioned why the property was advertised with free parking on booking.com and he admitted that it shouldn’t really be on there. I was not happy to park my friends vehicle on private land. I explained that I would not be staying as I felt anxious leaving of the vehicle on this private property and how disappointed I was that this was not clearly stated on the advertisement, so I drove back to London, I was incredibly disappointed with the whole experience and would not recommend and will be escalating this to booking.com, as I feel it’s incredibly misleading to future visitors as it clearly states free parking on the advertisement.

The location was ideal as its only 5 minutes walk away from the busy streets, , shops /restaurants/pubs/Theatre
The property is in a quiet street so got a good nights sleep .would we return ? yes we would .
The bed was a bit on the hard side , could do with a topper on it. other than that all good

The white towel has turned grey. It should have been eliminated long ago.
As a foreign tourist, I drove on the first day in the UK and didn't understand the British parking regulations. The hotel uses public parking spaces. My English is not very good, and the landlord's explanation is not too patient, which makes us look like fools.

Clean, cozy place with, a great bathroom
Towels, small shampoos, and shower gels included
Coffee machine with two capsules for both coffee and hot chocolate
It’s incredible how much you’re getting for so cheap

very central location on a nice quiet residential street
clean but compact room, very nicely decorated with tea making facilities.
modern clean bathroom with plenty of fresh good quality towels and complimentary toiletries.
no free street parking - had to pay for meter.
Jacuzzi bath that we didn't use - would have preferred walk in shower.
Room very compact but good layout and fine for our 1 night stay.

The location was good.
It was a very small room, barely large enough for 2 large suitcases because of the amount of furniture in the small room. There was also a jacuzzi bathtub which didn't work. Very frustrating.
It was also very hot in the room and there were no fans nor A.C. and when the one window in the room was open, I heard people talking and outside noises all night.
I would not recommend this place.

The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. The coffee machine was a great addition. Plenty of fresh towels was also really good. The hotels location was perfect too and the late checkout of 11am was great.
The smell as you came through the front door and within the hallways was awful. Like a pet smell. Fortunately the bedroom did not smell like it but it wasn't very nice as you came in and out of your room. The TV remote did not work. The actual advert on booking.com had very limited details. I was unsure what facilities there could be and was actually very happy to see towels and toiletries on offer, as well as a hairdryer and a coffee machine. The advert could certainly do with some more detail for those that like to know what is in the room.

Location was great, no parking on site or around site, we ended up parking in the station car park. £10 for 24 hours. Check in was easy and we were able to check in at 13:45 which was great. Check out was easy just leave the keys at the desk and go. Very clean room. Bed was abit hard but we slept fine. Great for an over night stay
Very warm and there wasn’t a fan or and air con. But we didn’t ask to be fair so possibly ask and they may supply a fan

Our host was great and really helpful.
We stayed 1 night, first visit to Canterbury. Really short walk from station and great location.
Lovely room. No problems.
Nothing, it was great.

A five minute walk from the West Gate, this property is close to the main streets of the city centre. The bed was comfortable, and the host put tea, coffee, and nice bathroom supplies out for guests.
This property is essentially a home converted into room only accomodation, the facilities are decent, but there is no sound proofing, and the plumbing isn't great, the room above leaked into our room, and the wall behind the bed was soaked when we woke up. There is no parking, unless you by chance stay overnight on a Saturday, and there's single yellow lines outside, so you can park.
