Great base to tour from. Super clean and well furnished. Reminded me of apartments I have stayed in in south of France and Spain, high ceilings, brick painted walls, lots of wooden furniture, enough ceiling fans and ac to manage the blistering heat and humidity outside. Walking distance from tons of activities and food choices. Highly recommended be me and my family.

The apartment was beautiful and we had everything we needed. We could walk all around the French Quarter. Be sure to go to Cafe Beignet for brunch. The apartment is also within walking distance to the streetcars. We went to other districts for dinner, sightseeing, and shopping. The French Market is charming and there is a band at the cafe. The crepes at the crepe vendor are amazing. Cajun Encounters Swamp Tour was great and the bus driver shared so much New Orleans information from a local's perspective. In my opinion Frenchman's Street is the best for music and dining. We did all this via walking or streetcars due to the location of the apartment. The car stayed parked in the public parking lot.

Such a great location for the price! We loved having the private pool and patio area. Loved being right next to the three legged dog, cheap drinks and delicious food.

I’ve never stayed in New Orleans before so I didn’t know much about the area. But this apartment was in walking distance to everything! The coffee shop, St. Pat’s Irish Coffee House, is just around the corner and so good! The food at Namaste Nola and Le Bayou Restaurant was superb! We drove over to Barataria Preserve and Shell Beach. Go eat at Speck’s if you go to Shell Beach! The apartment had an iron coded gate over the door for extra protection. I’m a small town girl so I was a little scared being in the city so I appreciated that. It has a shared patio with a pool, tables, umbrellas, chairs which was nice. I would have preferred it to be a little more soundproof as the neighbors in the building had a party on the patio and you could basically hear every word. There were plenty of supplies (maybe a few more towels and washcloths) would be nice as there is no washer and dryer. As stated in another review, if you sleep in the bedroom closest to the patio, you have to walk through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. It didn’t bother us, but it might some people. There was no available street parking so we parked in parking lot P338. It is just around the block from the apartment. Not far at all. However it is paid parking so be prepared. All in all, I found the property great for the price which no problems from the host. Thanks for the memories NOLA!

Perfect location for FQ fest.

In my most honest opinion it was not great at all. I didn’t expect it to be that dirty and uncomfortable. When we first got there as I was trying to find a place for my son to sleep, I figured that the couch bed was a perfect spot but when we unfolded the couch I saw that the lower part of the bed was sinking because the bed springs were broken and the mattress was dirty. The bathroom sink and bathtub were clogged. Another thing I want to mention is that the master bedroom didn’t have any air vents or air conditioning. When we tried to cook every single pan was covered in grease and stains. There weren’t enough plates for us to eat. Some of the cooking tools were broken or really dirty. Also when we were going to wash those dishes there weren’t any sponges to clean them with.
The hair dryer was broken. I am really disappointed with all the things that happened because that apartment wasn’t cheap and for me to pay that much for something that wasn't worth what was promised is very unfair.
I couldn’t stay for my entire trip in that apartment. I left it before the check out day.

We stayed for two nights before boarding our cruise and loved it! Myself, my husband, and our three kids stayed and there was plenty of space. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from everywhere we went in the French Quarter. We loved the high ceilings and tall windows!

Close to everything and very real french quarter feel! Would definitely stay again!

Great place with easy access to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Probably best for families with kids or close friends as access to the restroom from the back bed room requires you to walk through the front bedroom. Not that big a deal if you know to bring pjs.

The place was as described and exactly what we thought we were booking. Would stay here again.

Perfect location for enjoying all that the French Quarter has to offer. Just two blocks from Bourbon, with off street parking right around the corner. There is plenty of space for two couples to enjoy the bedrooms and the common area. The unit is well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend.

A great place that I would not mind calling it my New Orleans home. Perhaps returning next year and staying there again.

Great location close to all the good stuff in the French Quarter. Historical charm without fussy vintage decor. We’d love to stay there again.

The location can not be beat if you want to stay in the French Quarter. Two blocks from all the action of Burbon St yet quiet enough to relax.Safe and secure location. The place is larger than expected with two very comfortable beds. Well-stocked kitchen with everything you need. More than enough towels and bath basics. Will definitely return to this property. One of the best prices in town. The host responds to questions in a timely manner. Five stars +++
