Very good

The overall experience was brilliant! Hotel has beautiful view over an typical Amsterdam Canal with good public transport nearby. It only takes 5 stops to reach Van Gogh museum. Staff was friendly and the rooms were spotless

Mooie locatie maar prijs niet waard

De locatie lag mooi

Veel overlast van dichtslaande deuren s’avonds laat / s’nachts. Voor een deluxe kamer en dit bedrag verwacht je meer en geen kartonnen handdoeken en gerafeld behang op de muren.

Vraiment moyen

Les chambres sont en bon état.

Dans les 2 chambres les TV ne fonctionnent pas et rien a été fait malgré le signalement. Les chambres n'ont pas été nettoyées durant notre séjour, alors que soit disant une femme de ménage devait passer. L'hôtel est sous la zone d'atterrissage de l'aéroport d'Amsterdam donc très très passant et bruyant. 200€ en moyenne par chambre par nuit, pour une prestation de cette qualité est surévaluée.

Zum Schlafen und duschen wars Ok.

Die Aussicht aufs Wasser war schön beim verlassen des Hotels. Tücher und Betten wurden gemacht. Sehr freundliches Peronal.

Die Sauberkeit war nicht gegeben. Spinnweben in den Ecken, Staub auf den Möbeln. Tapete hing von der Wand, der Raum war im Keller gelegen und kämpfte mit Feuchtigkeit. Es war sehr kalt im Zimmer, war es war eine Heizung vorhanden.

Rapport qualité-prix imbattable avec parking gratuit

Bel hôtel de charme situé sur le lac d'Amsterdam. Les chambres sont modernes et neuves. Mais le personnel est vraiment exceptionnel, tout le monde s'est mis en quatre pour nous aider. Je reviendrais certainement l'année prochaine.

Un plus grand choix de boissons rendrait mon séjour encore meilleur. Tout le reste était parfait.

Tolle, saubere Unterkunft in guter Lage!!

Das freundliche Personal, der moderne und neuwertige Einrichtungsstil und die Sauberkeit. Mit dem Bus war man auch schnell im Zentrum von Amsterdam. Durch das kostenlose Parken am Hotel haben wir 30 Euro pro Tag gespart

6 hours there, 150 euros gone, no breakfast though.

Room no window at all. Taxis by hotel to airport 2.7miles away charged 40 euro morning , 44 at night, bed was 67euros. I'd rather stay in the closest hotel in the airport.

Alles verlief sehr angenehm, einen schnellen und einfachen check-in & check-out!

Es ist sehr ruhig in dieser Strasse, es liegt am Hafen, sehr schöne Aussicht. Das personal war sehr liebevoll.

Ich fand es einwenig schade dass es kein Fenster gab zu diesem Zimmer. Es war nachts beim schlafen stickig geworden.

Probably the worst hotel I ever stayed

Actually there is nothing I liked about that hotel except nice chairs in lobby.

Please don’t get scammed as we did. Pictures placed on booking are totally different, seems like totally different place, rooms are small awful and dirty. Lady on the reception took ages to accommodate us. Also charged us additional £100 per room as a deposit (?), which we weren’t informed about before. We ended up in a basement, with terrifying small rooms. The „view we had” was on the parking. The other room has no windows. To get there you had to defeat maze of corridors then very small and steep stairs, no elevator there. So If you have problems with walking or big luggage then I wish you good luck. Inside the rooms was freezing, if not air conditioning (btw it didn’t work properly) I’d leave this place same night. Price totally not adequate to the standard. Never again.

A disappointment

The room had been modernises

The property is falsely advertised. It shows as Airport Shuttle. Which it didnt. It was so far out of the way. There r no restaurants or shops near it. They just sell heated up pizza. No tea or coffee facility unless u pay to use a machine. A disappointing stay

Arnaque : viré de l’hôtel car accusé d’avoir fumer dans la chambre alors que je suis non fumeur.

L’emplacement par rapport à l’aéroport

- Personnel de l’accueil très désagréable. - viré de l’établissement à 20h par la police car accusé d’avoir fumer dans la chambre alors que je suis non fumeur - réclamation auprès de Booking mais l’établissement, lors de l’échange Booking et l’hôtel, l’hôtel a dit que je n’étais pas venu et qu’il n’y avait aucun problème. L’établissement a même annulé ma réservation pour cacher mon arrivée. - lors de mon arrivée, une demande de dépôt de garantie de 100e est demandée et aucun remboursement effectué et perdu les nuits non passées chez eux.

Catastrophe…

Sur booking.com y avait écrit que l’hôtel était a même pas 4km du centre d’Amsterdam alors que c’est bien plus loin. Epuis a la reception une dame pas très accueillante qui nous explique qu’il faut être dans la possession d’une carte visa ou mastercard pour bloque une garantie pour la chambre. Sinon on ne pouvait pas rentrer et la chambre ne serait pas remboursée non plus. Et on était pas les seules, encore 2 autres couples avaient le même problème devant la réception. Donc vraiment une chose a revoir et a mettre en grand sur votre annonce! Soit, problème sûr problème dès l’arrivée. La chambre était très petite, froid et pas tres propre non plus, vraiment très basique avec la cerise sur le gâteau….les bruits des chambres a côté.

Dat het schoon en was en nieuw.

Was klein, badkamer had geen deur, wij konden niet normaal naar de badkamer. De bedden lagen niet comfortabel, ook was het krap. Niet van te voren verteld dat wij 100 euro moesten betalen met creditcard als borg.

Lovely stay, a few hiccups...

The facilities were lovely, nicely decorated rooms and a nice reception team. Very helpful and understanding staff.

Our first night, we had a few issues, such as water coming through the wall and forming a puddle, no TV remote, and an old towel and water bottle under the bed. After we brought this to their attention, they did everything in their power to fix it, and the rest of the stay was fabulous.

Hotel verdient geld op basis van foutieve informatie en geeft geld niet terug!

Op de website van Booking.com staat dat er een shuttleservice aanwezig is naar Schiphol. Die blijkt er niet te zijn. Dit staat volgens een van de werknemers al drie jaar foutief op de website en past het Amsterdam Lake Hotel tot nog toe niet aan. Omdat op mijn moment van reizen de gewone bus was omgeleid wegens wegwerkzaamheden, had ik geen mogelijkheid, behalve een dure taxi, om bij het hotel te komen en de volgende dag bij Schiphol te komen. Toen ik dit aangaf bij het hotel en mijn geld terugvroeg, omdat ik op basis van foutieve informatie had geboekt, kreeg ik te horen dat dit via Booking.com moest. Deze hebben het ook geprobeerd bij het hotel, maar hebben nooit een reactie van ze ontvangen. De 190 euro ben ik dus kwijt voor een overnachting die ik daar nooit heb gehad. Die nacht heb ik uiteindelijk bij een ander en duurder hotel op eigen kosten doorgebracht. Een flinke tegenvaller van 190 euro dus en waarschijnlijk gaan ze de informatie op de website niet aanpassen, omdat ze op deze manier dubbel kunnen verdienen. Heel slecht!

Closer to airport

Staff is horrible. They try to trick you in every possible way. Stay away from this property. They issued me a key to a room where some one was sleeping. Staff hardly speak English

L’emplacement était sympathique. Les locaux sont propres et jolies.

Manque de place dans la chambre , aucune fenêtre pour l’entrée de lumière et d’air frais . Accueil pas chaleureux , personnels pas agréables .

Few facilities and expensive to reach by taxi

Pleasant surroundings

The property's entry was misleading in a number of respects. They may be less than 3 miles from the airport as the crow flies but it is a lot further by road. Their shuttle doesn't exist - they will order you a taxi. I was charged €55 because the taxi driver had difficulty finding the place. Although the location is pleasant by the lakeside the facilities are too poor for a stay of several days and the location too inconvenient for a stopover.

Vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel

Klein puntje; een koffie/thee mogelijkheid op de kamer zou dit hotel voor mij perfect maken voor een overnachting ivm werk op Schiphol. Maar verder super tevreden! Zelfs nog een bedank mail gehad met een persoonlijke noot. Dat wordt gewaardeerd.
