The caboose was wonderful but the hosts were absolutely the best, the nicest all around, and he cooked up fabulous breakfasts!! It was a great place to stay, even moreso if trains are your thing. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again.

Stayed in one of the cabooses. It was a bit rustic, but a fun experience. Definitely something different from the routine hotel room. Mat, the owner, is a kick! Good breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was not only comfortable, but also a fun place to stay with all the train memorabilia and being next to the trainyard park.

We had a lovely stay in the Milwaukee Caboose! It was super cool getting to stay in a repurposed train car and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. Five stars!

What a great experience to sleep in a caboose (Milwaukee). There is an AC window unit and we had two fans, so the room was cool enough during our hot August stay. We also enjoyed playing the horse shoe game and the big parking lot to throw a football. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts were so friendly and kind.
The only little complaints we have is that the shower water pressure was very light and the hot tub could use a cleaning.
Thank you for the good time!

Charming, unique, b&b. Hardworking and personable owner/staff. Comfortable, thoughtfully decorated rooms but still need some small finishing touches. Delicious breakfast. Located on outskirts of small Washington city. Grounds also on way to becoming more attractive, but not a drawback. We will very likely return here.

We loved staying at the Iron Horse. Matt and Lianne are so personable and friendly, and the animals are a huge plus! We met goats, chickens, and a dog and cat. Food is amazing, beds so comfy. All around great experience!

Staying in an old caboose was a novel idea. It was well set up and clean. Despite the bed being very soft, I slept well. This business is young and the owners have lots of plans to improve the surrounding site. The breakfast was superb with personalised service. The host was friendly and welcoming with a depth of knowledge for the local history. Highly recommend this accommodation.

The Iron Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast is a delightful, friendly, well-appointed, comfortable place to stay. My daughter and I had a memorable adventure staying in an authentic caboose!! The owner shared the eclectic history of the railroads in the area. The next morning we were treated to his gourmet expertise at breakfast!! We will definitely come back to the Iron Horse Inn!!

Great place. Excellent breakfast. Everyone very friendly.

The property is not kept up. Parking is limited, partly because the lot is small and partly because there's an old shed and an abandoneded trailer in the lot. The outside area leaves a lot to be desired. A tree had fallen, who knows when and they just taped it off. This place has potential but it's not worth the money. The pictures shown are not what it actually is.

Enjoyed the experience of staying in a caboose! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating for my wife’s food sensitivities. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The caboose was rather moldy and musty, but by opening up all the windows we were able to air it out sufficiently. When using the jetted tub - a nice feature! - we ran out of hot water before it could completely fill. It did recover enough to shower off rather quickly.

The toilet seat was NOT cleaned. The rest of the room was spotless. The parking lot was not super inviting. Unsure where to park, seemed like abandoned vehicles around.
Overall great.

We stayed at South Pacific Line caboose. It’s our first time staying at such a cute, stylish historic place. It’s full of rich history and an absolute hidden gem. We learned a lot! The owner is so friendly. They offer a full breakfast with options. We were surprised by the portion given the price of a one-night stay :) Highly recommended to stay at one of the cabooses!
