Our single night here was great fromt desk guy was very attentive and helpful with all our needs. The room was nice and clean all the toiletries were available to us and all the linen were crisp.

As far as the hotel goes, it was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for just resting my head after attending a concert at the arena. I was a bit shocked to find an abandoned YMCA directly across the street, so that unsettled me a bit as a woman traveling alone (I did meet up with friends at the hotel, otherwise I wouldn’t really have felt safe leaving the hotel or walking from the parking lot at night by myself). The other issue was the hotel is ZERO sound-proofed. I heard every conversation in every room and hallway within ear shot of my room ALL NIGHT! I had a three hour ride home the next day, and really needed some sleep, but that was really impossible.

This hotel is a basic as you can get. Beautiful building but it has been cheaply renovated. It was close to Mohegan sun (10min drive) so it served a purpose for us but the furniture in the bedroom is cheap, bare bones room and due to the lack of noise absorbing extras like rugs and curtains, you can hear all the other rooms and the corridors. The front desk staff aren’t very helpful, saying Mohegan sun was a 30min drive and also couldn’t provide me with a light bulb for one of the only two lamps that didn’t work in my room. The elevator stopped working. There is a vending machine on one of the floors but no real food served and nowhere close by to get breakfast. Honestly- if it’s cheap and you just need somewhere to rest your head then it was OK. Would I recommend to friends? Not really.

Pretty nice hotel. Very clean. The lobby is very nice. Room was nice too - very simple. I would’ve liked to see more artwork. Staff was friendly.

First time staying here as my granddaughter's baby shower was here in the Agora Room. My room was so very perfect- from the comfort of the bed, the amenities in it and all that entails!

The front desk was wonderful. The only issue I had was with the room itself. First, there was no table or chair. I had to eat downstairs. I know the room is small, but a folding table and chair could be easily added. Not comfortable if you have to stay long term. Second, laugh if you want, but I am a person of short stature (I am 5'1"). I couldn't get into the bed easily. I had to climb and pull myself up. If you have a disability, are short, or a little person, this could be very uncomfortable. The beds are super high.

We stayed here since we were attending an event at Mohegan Sun. It was a quick 10 minute drive. We took a Uber to the arena and there was always a car available. The hotel was very clean and we felt safe during our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. My only complaint would be that you can hear a lot of movement from the hallway and surrounding rooms, but it wasn’t unbearable. However, it was very quiet during the night. Overall, our stay was great and we would stay again in the future!

This place was great! It was clean, quiet, cozy room, and friendly staff. If I'm in the area again, I will stay here.

We needed a place to stay for an overnight trip and this place was great. The room was new and clean. The staff was helpful and called ahead to inform us of an issue they were having with the elevator and to ask if we needed any special accommodations because of it. Checking in and out was easy as well. I’ll be staying there next time I’m in the area.

Check-in was very quick! The room was immaculately clean (but a little small), and more lighting in the room would have been nice. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. (Offering some kind of breakfast would be a definite plus going forward.) WiFi worked impeccably! I would stay here again - good, competitive price for the area.

Nicely designed new hotel in a cool old building, Friendly staff.

Cool little place. Converted into a hotel. It’s clean and quiet and has a nice parking lot. Rooms are small but have what you need for the price.

The hotel staff was very accommodating, and the room was clean and spacious. The downside is the lighting in the room was not ideal - two small basement-style windows for natural light and no overhead lighting. The bathroom was not lit well at all -- you could barely see yourself in the mirror. The staff was nice to bring a light, ironing board and iron. There also was no closet at all in the room. And while there was a kitchenette, there were no supplies. Lastly, the elevator wreaks of mildew - I had a 20 minute coughing spell every time we used it.

The renovated a once great building built in 1827. Clean, cozy rooms, great price. Totally cool staff. Good place!! Surrounding area isn’t great, but Mohegan Sun is 10 min away!

Old mansion converted into a hotel. Clean and quiet, but the rooms are very small and the bathroom sink took a long time to drain. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again for an event at Mohegan Sun Arena!

The bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The elevator had a really moldy smell. The security was lax. Anyone could enter the building late at night.

This hotel is in the scariest area I’ve ever seen. While newly renovated, the elevator stinks like mold, the wall-mounted air conditioning unit screeched so badly we couldn’t use it, the whole building is creepy and the neighborhood is terrifying. I literally took valuables from the car in case it was stolen and texted family to let them know my last known location in case I went missing.

Odd place. Looked like dorm furniture. Not inviting at all. Couldn’t figure out which door to use to get into the place until someone came to the door. There must have been cameras to see people at the doors. No locks on outside doors. Quite expensive for no amenities. Won’t stay there again and won’t recommend.

Excellent spot all around, highly recommend.

When arriving it was not possible to enter through the front door which was odd. Upon entering, the hotel seemed unoccupied which gave us an uneasy feeling. The front desk clerk told us the room was really small and asked if we wanted to see it first which also felt odd. It was much smaller than it appeared online. The hotel also appeared to be in an unsafe neighborhood and somewhat isolated. We decided not to stay and were not allowed a refund.

Hotel was clean, very minimal decor almost gave a creepy vibe. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and very thin walls.

Such a great stay! Comfortable bed, great shower, friendly staff. Only negative is that the curtains don’t block out sunlight.

Beautiful interior, rooms were very clean and it was very quiet.

The hotel was very nice and modern. None of the plugs worked but they did have a box to plug things into so it was good.
The only problem was I boked with Expedia and they charged me again. They fixed it but it will take 3-5 days to get my money back which was not great. Other than that highly reconned

No window blinds in room, very sunny in the morning.

Nice property. Clean & comfortable bed. Only complaint is the AC made a weird screeching noise when it was on.

This property was very nice. The rooms were modern and clean. I wasn’t a fan of the bed, it was very hard and very high. It was hard to get up onto. Also, we could have used some chairs or something other than the bed to sit on in the room.

Beds are bricks with sheets.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay for a couple night out to the casinos at this hotel. I read the reviews about the bed not being comfortable. However, we found the bed very comfortable. It seems like the pillow top they added to the bed has made a huge difference. I spoke to property owner to confirm if they made any accommodations to the bed lately which they confirmed my suspicion of what has been done to the bed. I highly recommend this hotel for a couple night out or weekend stay as we plan to come back to this hotel for our next couple night out stay.

Very cute hotel. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Walls are not super thick but i mean it's a hotel so that's what we expected.

Very beautiful newly remodeled historic building. Very efficient and professional service at the front desk. Entire property is impeccably clean. I found the artsy and modern decoration a little overdone. It makes the building feel a bit sterile and cold overall. The room in which I stayed had no curtains. It was too bright throughout the night, and we were woken by a flood of sunshine very early. The price I paid was more than reasonable for this very fine hotel.

This is a unique Hotel, the architect is amazing!! Looks like old bank or city building converted into hotel

The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff very friendly Our only, and I don't like using the word complaint, is the bed was very uncomfortable. We definitely would stay again if it weren't for the hard mattress.
