This was a great place to stay for what we needed. Clean room/bathroom, breakfast provided, cookies at night, and easy check in/check out. Fairly easy to get to on the yellow route.

There was a lack of furniture in the room. Picture shows chair with ottoman and table and chair. None of that was in the room but a table. The doors were a yellow/white color and everything looked like it needed a deep cleaning. The towels would not get you dry, and the beds were not very comfortable. We had to figure out how to get the tv direct tv box to work- kept saying no signal, but figured it out. Breakfast needed help also.

Great location and price. Staff is friendly. They have an elevator outside which was helpful. They do not have a microwave. I think Branson is getting away from microwaves in rooms. Breakfast was good.

Needed an affordable stay for last minute trip. The hotel was exceptionally clean, except carpet in the rooms. I would have preferred the carpet removed and vinyl or linoleum even to be down. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Very clean bedding. Fridge and single cup coffee maker but no microwave. The continental breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Just about anything you may want. It was nice and quiet and heat and air worked great. Hot was is HOT QUICK so be careful. Like steaming hot. Staff are great. Definitely would recommend for a very affordable place to stay!!

The room was clean. The bathroom need some work done meaning the tub /enclosure needs to be updated. The a/c worked great! I can't tell you how many places we have stayed that the a/c was not the greatest. The staff were super nice. The area was quiet. Location was great! Would stay there again!

No local TV only large cities: no weather no World Series and no rep at the front desk to help with the remote. The reps left for home at 5:30 and didn't return until the next morning. The floor was dirty and we had to change stockings after walking on it.

From the outside the property seemed decent and well kept. My first turn off was the lobby when checking in. It was very cluttered making it look messy and out dated. We booked a Deluxe double queen room and nothing about the room felt "deluxe" which was an upcharge from the other options. All of the furniture looked beat up not jusy little marks from general use but chunks taken out tables and headboards. It looked like the tile had be resently redone in thw bathroom area but whoever did it scrapped grout all over the walls making everything look like it hadnt been cleaned. There was a piece if chewed up gum on the tile right by the sink and a dead roach on the floor. The tub had hairs in it and there were hand prints all over the walls. The bed mattresses are wrapped in bags making it impossible to check for bed bugs which made me uneasy. The room discription said they had pillow top mattress which is the main reason why i booked that hotel and the beds were so hard and uncomfortable, definitely NOT pillow top. I booked through a third party so i wasnt sure if i could get my money back if we complained and i didnt want to complain and potentially have to stay there anyway so i we just delt with it. I ended up having to sleep in the car for several hours with one of our kids who could not get comfortable on those terrible beds and was crying out of exhaustion. I didnt want her to wake any of our neighbors. Our friend who also stayed didnt have a second lock on their door.

It is what you pay for. The first room we got didn’t have any lamps or lights beside the bathroom. Went back down to get a lamp (the in-room phone didn’t actually work) and had to change rooms completely. I like that they offered cookies in the evening so that was nice. The hot Breakfast wasn’t terrible. The drink machines were mostly broken and old machines in the floor. Room was very basic but felt clean. The first room was not nice. Fridge was on 2X4s in a built in dresser. Wasn’t all out terrible but for $60 it’s wasn’t the worst for one night. I wish there was more consistency in rooms at hotels like this. A little bit of work goes a long way just with what was left outside in the breezeway and knowing what rooms are lacking basic necessities

Not a very good place to stay unless it’s an absolute last resort. The room was dirty and it’s an overall sketchy place. I’ve stayed in some sketchy places and this definitely wasn’t the worst place in the world, but definitely wouldn’t let my a kid go the vending machines alone there.

Arrived for check in and had to call the number on the door. Waited quite a while for someone to show up. Breakfast was horrible. Cereal was stale, bread and bagel was stale, one muffin (small and in the original package) was covered with mold. Yes green mold. Saturday morning they did offer biscuits and gravy. You do not want to know about this slimy gravy, that I can't describe the color. Would not recommend this motel.

This property is a bit dated, but good for what we needed! It looks like they’re doing a bit of updating at a time. Unfortunately, we never made it to breakfast or to get fresh baked cookies that they make at night (which is awesome). Staff was friendly. An AC unit on our floor was making a horrible noise and the next day they had someone on it. All in all we’d stay again.

There was trash from a previous person behind the nightstand and there was some unknown fluid on the bathroom wall that had not been cleaned up or wiped off. There were also spiders in the bathroom. There wasn’t a trash can in the bathroom. The front desk lady was really nice but the office closes at 11pm.

We did check in very late, but did have this room pre booked and paid for. When we got into the room the AC was not on and running. It was 85 degrees in the room and took many hours to get to comfortable room temp at a time when we needed to get to bed. Other than that, the stay was satisfactory. Breakfast was pretty good with many options. We were on the 3rd level and the elevator is broke, but that wasn't really a big problem for us.

I absolutely loved staying here. It was quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast but plenty of options and everything tasted great. DIY waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereals, bagels, bread for toast. Clean and nicely stocked. Everyone who worked there was friendly. I had a good time.

We have stayed at Sunset Inn before, and both times we have enjoyed the friendly, very helpful staff, and the clean towels and bedding. This property is older, and a bit run down on the outside, but the rooms have been pleasantly updated, and the pool is splendid with clean surroundings. We missed the cookies in the evening this time, but we are glad that such a treat is offered. Breakfast was decent, and the coffee MUCH improved! Thank you to everyone there, for all you do!
