Mala experiencia

Nada, las fotos que se muestran es de otro hotel con diferente administración

No habían toallas para piscina, las habitaciones no las limpian bien y solo hay una piscina no tres como se muestra en las fotografías

The stay was overall disappointing. We will stay at other hotels for future trips to Tela.

The door knob was not operational and would not open after being shut. During this time half of our group was locked into the room while the other half was locked on the outside. We tried calling the property and were not able to get anyone on the phone and had to hunt for someone who worked at the property to get us help. The issues was finally resolved over an hour later. The TV in the cabana did not work. Even after the maintenance team looked at it the TV was not operational. When we went to the beach access we were told we could not use the showers at the main Shore plantations hotel to get the sand off of us before getting in our car to drive back to the cabana. When I booked this room I was originally looking at rooms at the hotel and only selected the cabana so we could all be together. I was unaware that we could not use this facility and find it outrageous that these outdoor showers would be off limits as we also were staying with Shore plantations.

Hubo problemas con el aire acondicionado, el wifi nonfuncionaba y nos reubicaron en otra habitación más económica y no hubo reembolso.

MALA EXPERIENCIA EN MI ESTADIA

La Ubicacion PERFECTA, el desayuno feisimo el cafe, lo demas como tipico, eso no importa. El desayuno no estaba listo porque andaban comprando los huevos y las tortillas. Le doy un CERO

No me gusto que se estan peleando los del restaurante con los del hotel, se noto que no hay armonia, son diferentes dueños, no me pude estacionar donde yo queria y luego se fue agua y luz del hotel. Fatal noche y experiencia.

No cuenta con Restaurante, ni sillas para asolear, siempre se encuentra distante de la playa y en la playa a pesar que cuenta con restaurante no es del hotel y presenta disputa con restaurante del lado lo cual afecta a los huéspedes del hotel.

Deja mucho que desear

La ubicación es muy linda, la playa hermosa, lástima que no tienen la infraestructura y logística adecuada para sus visitates.

Al momento de reservar por booking recibí confirmación de que el hospedaje era en el hotel frente al mar, llamé al hotel para verificar la reservacion e indicaron que estaba correcto. Cuando me contactaron para realizar el pago, antes de mi llegada, me dijeron que no tenían habitaciones y que lo que habían apartado eran unas mini habitaciones tipo cabaña, las cuales fueron espantosas, no recomendables para gente claustrofobica. Las habitaciones no son aptas para niños ni adultos mayores, demasiado pequeñas! son una estafa y tienen suficiente espacio para que sean cabañas completas que sean aptas para familias. El desayuno que sirven es pésimo, lo sirven todo revuelto y dos veces no ajustó la comida por la cantidad de personas que tenían, no lo deberían incluir en el precio, me sentí estafada. Las instalaciones del restaurante no son aptas en tiempo de lluvia, todo se moja y no tienen opción de donde atender a los huéspedes.

Pésima comida ahora limitaron el uso de la piscina, los desayunos un asco no debería rentar con desayunos incluidos, pelos en la comida, frijoles crudos revueltos con aceite, pescado crudo dos veces

La habitación que tuvimos estaba excelente, el tamaño y también tenía cocina equipada..

Hay parte del personal que no son tan amables.. no tuvimos cable en la estadía, lo reportamos y no hicieron nada por resolver.. La experiencia del desayuno fue terrible.. las mesas estaban a la intemperie y ese día estaba lloviendo.. El desayuno venia mezclado la fruta incluso con los frijoles y era un desayuno pequeño

Conociendo Tela

Las instalaciones son buenas, pero es extraño que le digan al ingresar q no puede usar la piscina. Que debe ser la piscina q queda cruzando la calle.

El tema de la piscina, y que todo era como con amenazas de ser cobrado extra... como es q no tienen toallas para el mar o la piscina... eso es extraño.

Me encanta este lugar porque es tranquilo y bien mantenido!

El WiFi de la cabaña era sumamente débil y por la ubicación no entraban mis datos. Entonces quedaba relativamente incomunicado.

Puede mejorar, deben contar con planta eléctrica para el hotel y con agua almacenada en caso que se vaya.

La playa estaba bonita.

Sin energía eléctrica un buen tiempo, el agua se fue por la mañana cuando la necesitábamos. Aire acondicionado con problemas.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Tela!

Staff The staff was very unapologetic about all of my problems. They did nothing to help us. The security guards on the property are like bullies. They follow you around everywhere you go and "intimidate" you with their presence. At the time of check out (10:00 AM), there was no one working in reception. I couldn't even properly check out. I had to leave my keys with one of the rude guards. That is horrible customer service. Facilities The website lists a swimming pool as an included facility. But when we got there we were informed that to use the pool it is an extra charge. We were also told that we are not able to use personal coolers on the property, which was not listed on the website. Cleanliness There was trash and litter all over the beach and the hotel grounds. It was disgusting. Comfort Flat pillows, beds and mattresses so old that my back hurt, couldn't adjust the A/C and it was freezing cold all night. The beds had paper thin sheets that didn't keep us warm. Value for Money Honduras Shores Plantations is one of the most expensive hotels in all of Tela and it is one of the worst. There was no value for my money. Location Honduras Shores Plantations is located in a dangerous neighborhood of San Juan. One morning while we were driving out of the neighborhood and into town, we were stopped by the locals. They had made a "make shift" road block, forced our car to stop and made us pay a cash bribe before they would allow us to continue. I had my two daughters with me and this is unacceptable. I understand it is Honduras, but that was a dangerous situation for us to be in. How comfy were the beds? The beds were horrible. My back still hurts. How did you find communicating with Honduras Shores Plantations (if applicable)? None of the phone numbers listed online work. They are all disconnected. I had to go into reception and ask them in person to give me a working phone number.

How quiet was your room? Not quiet at all. On Saturday night, after 10:00 PM, there were multiple ATV's, Jeeps, and "side by side" vehicles on the beach, shining their headlights directly into my room and driving around all over the propery with loud exhaust and music playing. I complained to the reception and the guards about the noise and they did nothing to help me. They didn't even speak. They just looked at me while I told them about my problem. Also, the glass on my balcony windows was broken. I will attach pictures.
