About this cottage rental
About this space
Enjoy breathtaking views of Buzzard's Bay in this completely renovated, private location that’s just a 1 minute walk to the beach. This upscale beach house is the perfect retreat for those wishing to enjoy the island, all its activities and also have unparalleled privacy and tranquility, with the closest house being 800' away. Whether it's to read, write or just relax with some wine, "Valhalla" will provide you with the most unique setting to do so. Year round beauty with gorgeous winter sunsets
The space
Open floor plan with upscale furnishings and great views. 3 separate sitting areas, work desk and great natural lighting. Queen bed in master. Twin over full bunk in guest bedroom. 1 sleeper couch in loft. Table seats 4, or 6 with leaf. Central air/heat. Stove is propane. Walk-in shower, no tub.
Not your typical beach house. Valhalla is upscale beach elegance
Guest access
Entire cottage, yard and 1 stall of garage which houses the bikes, kayaks and grills. A beach access pass will also be provided starting summer 2024. The beaches are accessible all year but no pass is needed during the fall, winter and spring months.
Other things to note
There are scheduled services such as mosquito control every few weeks. I try to schedule during check out/check in hours but sometimes I can’t. It’s possible a quick service could happen during your stay but I will notify you first. It would only be outdoor service. Lawn is normally cut Friday am and usually takes about 30 min. Monday is trash pickup so I may stop by early Monday or late Sunday for 2 minutes to roll barrels out. I will notify you first.
