Tucked away in the woods on a quiet cove of the Damariscotta River, this waterfront home is a place to experience Boothbay in scenic, peaceful surroundings. Enjoy shared access to the community dock accessible at the end of the cul-de-sac, and both a large deck and a glassed-in sunroom with beautiful views of the water through a thicket of trees.
This two-story home sits at the edge of Meadow Cove, with a boardwalk in walking distance to the shared dock. It's a wonderful spot for swimming, launching a kayak, and taking quick drives into charming Boothbay Harbor (three miles west). The region is a haven for nearby excursions, whether you head to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (six miles), Wiscasset (15 miles), or Pemaquid Point (30 miles).
It's a joy to wake up here each morning, as the first rays of sun touch the deck, the sunroom, and the lofty, window-lined living area. It's a natural space for gathering, whether you're cooking on stainless steel kitchen appliances, sitting down for dinner at the dining room table, or streaming movies afterwards. If you're hoping to catch up on a bit of remote work, you'll have a desk in the loft and complimentary high-speed WiFi.
There's one bedroom and one full bathroom on each of the two floors. Between June 1 and September 15, a separate bunk house across the driveway is available for those seeking a fun, camp-like experience.

I booked this cottage in April 2024 because management confirmed ad ,we needed dock access to park sailboat and water canoe.mangement approved. I arrived july for annual family holiday.i phoned from Saturday until late sunday vacasa gave us the run around and said we cannot use dock,I told management staff sunday at 4pm I was checking out 9am due to false advertising regarding dock access and management said they would refund balance of unused days.monday afternoon I received phone call from April and she started talking over me,extremely rude telling me no refund,i told her breech of contract false advertising. Cleaniness was also horrible the downstairs bedroom had urine spots as well as step landing. Getting response from vacasa management was unfriendly, rude and they all seem unorganized, they had no clue about the ad they listed about dock access, they are quick to receive money but don't fulfill what was promised.its unfortunate this happened within 10 years of me leasing homes for family holiday.this was a horrible experience for me and my family.

The property is advertised as waterfront property, but it is not. There is a Boardwalk down the steep slope, but it ends before reaching the shoreline. We were very disappointed to find that we could not get to the water whether it was high or low tide the whole time we were there. Second disappointment was that the Clean and prepared for use Cage is not suitable for four adults is set up for children upstairs also accommodations for the price.

Comfortable property in a beautiful location. Beautiful views from the house and the deck overlooking the cove. Clean and well-outfitted. Less than a ten minute drive to Boothbay Harbor. It's a five-minute walk through the woods to the shared dock facility.
