When you arrive at Tradewinds’ elegant location on one of Princeville’s best streets, you will know that you chose wisely. Your family & guests will be delighted by the private courtyard centered on the large pool with swim-up bar, kids' pool, built-in spa & two waterfalls. The poolside entertainment area features a Weber gas BBQ. After dark, glow in the dark European ceramic pool tile creates a wonderful ambiance for a relaxing evening dip.
The House is newly constructed in 2023. The front door of this 2500sf home is approached via the pool area & a large roofed poolside lanai. Additional roofed lanais total about 1000sf giving an expansive indoor/ outdoor living area. Entry is through one of two sliding walls totaling 30ft for seamless indoor/outdoor living. The large great room with a clear fir vaulted ceiling features ample seating & 86" TV. This area includes the kitchen with Wolf, Bosch & Thermador appliances & a beautiful blue glass island. Cool polished floors & elegant white, grey, and blue tones add to the feeling of spaciousness throughout.
Every detail of the home was meticulously designed over five years of owning the land before construction began. Two separate wings place each of the four main bedrooms on a corner for privacy. The poolside of the H-shaped house faces North-East to capture the trade winds. With 3-sided ventilation in all main rooms &bedrooms, breezes waft constantly throughout. Although individually controlled Mitsubishi silent AC is also provided, it is usually not needed.
The four main bathrooms have Grohe rain showers & soaker tubs. Private lava rock garden showers with exposed copper rain heads & growing orchids open off both master bathrooms. The matching poolside shower is mounted on a beautifully decorated surfboard.
Two equal but different covered great room lanais on opposite sides of the property offer choices of sun, shade, cool & warmth throughout the day & night. The two master suites have California king beds & the two additional rooms feature king-size beds. All room have covered lanais.
There is a fifth sleeping area with a sofa-bed, bathroom & desk.

This home and location were outstanding. It is everything you read and see. Four couples stayed for a week and the layout is perfect. Having the office/den was nice when I had to get on a meeting unexpectedly. The home is outfitted well and with a lot of thought. They chose fixtures that are not builder grade which is unusual for rentals. We are accustomed to nice stuff, honestly, and this home was just incredible. The views from the back and proximity to the cliffs... just can’t say enough. Getting in the spa after a day of hiking/exploring was wonderful. We only ate out once - The Bull Shed - which we recommend. Hope to return.

Amazing spot! Perfect for our family gathering. My wife and I loved the location and view from the property. Our two teens and the two friends they brought loved the pool and the walkable beaches. My 79 year old mom loved the pool deck and spa. We had a great week!

We stayed for 2 weeks T this beautiful, well-furnished home. The location is fantastic, the house was spotless and had many extras. The AC units in each of the bedrooms worked out extremely well. The pool and hot tub are very clean and well-kept. Short walk to the ocean, golf course, and a short drive to grocery store and restaurants. I have already recommended this house to friends!

My family stayed at Tradewinds for Christmas and New Years 2023/24. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is perfectly set up and comfortable for 8 people. The location provides super easy access to all things North Shore. The host was very responsive. We would go back in a heartbeat.
PS - the albatrosses nesting in the backyard was a very cool bonus!

Time stood still Every Morning, gazing at the mountains that were so beautiful they didn’t seem real.The home was clean, bedding was very comfortable and home was fully stocked with everything you’ll need. One of my favorite things was the gliding doors/windows on both sides of the living room, fully opening up to pool/ hot tube area and the patio on mountain side, allowing a fresh breeze to enter through the home. Another nice touch was the bikes located in garage. I hadn’t been on a bike since I was a child and it literally was a step back in time filled with happiness as the breeze flowed through my hair lifting up a full smile. There are some beautiful cliff views of the ocean maybe a mile down the road from home that we cycled to. Simon’s home perfect and he was also the best Host, Replying quickly with kindness towards any question/concerns we may have had.
If you are looking for adventures to do don’t hesitate because Kaua’i may be small in size but has so much to offer as long as you willing to drive the distance. My group took on the full adventure and did it all, from ATV riding, taking a kayaking/hiking tour, mountain tubing down a river through caves tour, horse back riding tour, sunset dinner sail boat on na pali coast, a dinner luau, soaking up the sun/views on multiple different beaches, and lots of shopping.
Truly thankful for the memories/time spent in Beautiful Kaua’i. Stay with Simon I promise you won’t regret it ☺️

This home is wonderful! Being within walking distance to some of the beaches is a great advantage given the limited parking available. Having our own pool and hot tub was also really great.

My husband and I brought our 2 adult children, their significant others, my 73 year old mom and our 2 year old grandson to Kauai to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. When I found this home, I couldn't believe how perfect it would be and when I saw it in person- it lived up to every hope I had! This home was simply amazing! it is clean, has lovely ammenites and is beautifully decorated. I loved that we all had our own space yet a great main area the we could hang out in. Our family probably spent 6-8 hours in the pool everyday! The kiddie pool next to the hot tub was absolutely perfect for our grandson! You can literally be in the pool and look through the home at the mountains. The sunsets are incredible! We had fun with the bikes and rode to a near by food truck. Simon was wonderful to work with!! We are already talking about coming back to this beautiful home. If you are looking for paradise...book this place!! PS. Be sure to try out the outdoor shower- pure bliss!

The house was perfect for our family. Each couple had a lovely private bath and bedroom. The home was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was great for cooking. We had everything we needed and the property manager was very responsive. The home, view, pool and the whole experience was wonderful. I look forward to coming back to paradise.

The house was beautiful and the view spectacular! The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Simon responded quickly to questions and was always helpful.

The home is comfortable, modern and the kitchen is very well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the garage is filled with bikes and toys to borrow during the stay.
The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing and fun to enjoy every day after our adventures in the area. There are lots of good restaurants and shops close by, including a few places with live music in the evenings.
Every evening we gathered in the back to watch the most beautiful sunsets and we loved watching the Laysan albatross’s in the grass, just off the back patio. It’s a very peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee as well.
We were a group ranging in age from 25 to 75 and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Over the course of our 9 day stay, we went on a sunset dinner cruise and saw lots of whales, helicoptered over the island, spent a day deep sea fishing and saw a Luau one evening.
The owner was instantly available if we had any questions and very helpful in planning our trip! We would love to return one day!

This is our fourth time vacationing on the stunning island of Kauai, and this home is hands-down our favorite place to stay.
It’s everything you’d want - a stunningly beautiful home with a perfect layout so guest feel at home upon first entering. Each bedroom is roomy with a full bath. There is a large open-concept living room/kitchen area for gathering while indoors.
On top of that, the location is top-notch. When you sit on the back patio, you’ll have a breath-taking view of both the mountains and the ocean, as well as the golf course. We began every morning there drinking coffee and soaking in the tranquility.
This home also just a quick walk to the path that goes to Queen’s Bath - a “must do” (weather permitting) in Kauai.
In the front of the home is a lovely pool and hot tub that we all enjoyed each evening after exploring the island.
Simon, the owner, is friendly and helpful. He’s quick to respond to any questions you may have about the home.
Honestly, I could go on and on about this property.
This home exceeded our expectations and made our time here so enjoyable.

We couldn’t have had a better experience staying at this property! The location to Hanalei Bay was incredible, very close to restaurants, beaches and amazing views. The house was in perfect condition and the four bedrooms had great privacy. The washer and dryer was a live saver after all our hikes. The pool and hot tub were great after a long day or alternative to the beach. The property is stocked with everything you might need in Kauai to surf, snorkel, or spend a day at the beach. The owner Simon was an absolute joy to communicate with and provided us with great recommendations! Make sure to rent a car as you will need it and be okay with a bit of rain! We will definitely be back.

Simon has been a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our visit to Princeville, Kauaii seamless. The home is well designed and spacious with a gorgeous private pool and hot tub, in a beautiful neighbourhood. The outdoor showers were a special treat! This home is located in the most beautiful area. Gorgeous views from the back, private, comfortable, with well maintained grounds. Quick access to golfing, good food, hikes, the the most amazing beaches. Hanalei bay is just a few minute drive away. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and many helpful amenities, ie. surfboard and body boards, e-bikes, coolers, backpack beach chairs, sun shade umbrella etc. We’ve stayed at many VRBO homes and this home’s pool and spa are the most enjoyable we’ve ever experienced.
