We enjoyed are stay. Thanks

Overall great location and ease of check in. The property was older and quaint. 1960's nostalgia was a correct description. There was one bedroom and a pull out couch. The couch bed was merely a older box spring ... not padding whatsoever. We found a cot that had a 2 inch mattress and laid it on the pullout couch, still very uncomfortable. They need to replace this immediately.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin is minutes from Yellowstone entrance and convenient to West's shopping, dining, and entertainment. Provisioning (coffee, ettc.) is solid. Washer/Dryer a big plus. Communiction witth Jaason was top notch.
One glitch Jason was unable to solved was Wifi. The connection was intermittant and sslow. Email did get in and out, but not on a timely basis, and loading web pages and moving graphics did not work on eityher of 2 mobiles and a tablet. The wifi service is likely from an external vendor and services several properties; owner's ability to affect a solution may have been limited, so we give them a bit of a pass on this one, but it is something to ask about if Wifi is key.

So, we were not able to actually stay at this property. And, since VRBO will not allow you to bypass those ratings I am rating them as a 5. The owner notified us on the 19th that the property had been double booked by VRBO.
So, while VRBO did nothing, the Owner found us a similar unit in the same area and worked with the other owner to get us into that location.
Kudos to both owners to salvage what could have been a terrible experience. Constant communication and owning the problem are HUGE. These traits are what separate the owners that excel from everyone else. Next time we are in the area, my first choice will be these individuals.

Perfect property for the area and enjoyed the check in process and proximity to town. 10/10 recommend.

We chose this property for its proximity to Yellowstone. It was very quaint with great decor to reflex the area.

This is a great cabin for multi-night stays. It was basecamp for adventures in YNP.

Perfect location near the West Entrance to Yellowstone and to restaurants. Place was quaint and clean and comfortable.

Thank you for the coffee! Also thanks for ease of check in/out, and thorough and quick communications during our stay. We enjoyed the town and proximity to the park.

The location of the cabin was great, close to West Entrance. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. We found if you leave around 10 am to go into the park you miss most of the waiting traffic. We absolutely loved Yellowstone National Park. The beauty was beyond belief.
The cabin was cozy and had all of the essentials for our stay. The bed is a little firm but after a day of adventure that didn’t matter!

The property is a log cabin with no AC. We had temps in the mid 80s and the cabin got warm in the evening but not oppressive. Only two negative issues for us. First, the couch is awful. It is a pullout sleeper and the center of it sags badly. If you sit on either end you will tip over towards the center and in the center it is a real challenge to get up. Second, the wifi is super slow. Ping time was 750 msec so it takes forever to start loading a page. Unfortunately Verizon cell coverage was also not great so make sure you download any large files. Although not an issue for us I would note that the bedroom is very cramped and we be an issue if you have mobility problems. On the positive, the bed was good, the shower has awesome flow, the other living room chairs were good and the kitchen had no issues. Communication was good and we had no property issues. Hard to beat this location if visiting Yellowstone.

Host was very quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. Cabin was cozy and so close to Yellowstone. Bed was very comfy. Only drawback was Wi-Fi was very slow.

The cabin was so cute and the owner was the perfect tour guide. The cabin was centrally located, welcoming with everything right there, including maps, menus, books on Yellowstone outlining sample itineraries. The owner met us to make sure we had everything and told us about local restaurants, the park, and promised to keep us in ice cream from their shop each night…. Yum. An added bonus was his loaning us bear spray. Truly a wonderful experience!

This was an excellent visit. Geoff was excellent on information like things to see and places to eat. He even brought us ice cream. The property was rustic ,but that's what we like. Check in and out was smooth and easy. The home was really comfortable after a day of hiking. I would highly recommended a stay with these folks!!

We wanted a cabin with a full kitchen so we could cook our meals. The kitchen in the cabin had everything we needed. A real plus was a washer and dryer! The bed was comfy; the living room cozy. A heater was available for the chilly mornings...it warmed up the cabin quickly! The best part of renting this cabin was the owner! You could not find kinder, more helpful individual. He meets you when you arrive and helps you become familiar with the cabin and the town of West Yellowstone. If you need any help during your stay, he is right there to help...a phone call away. The location is also perfect...a few blocks from the West Entrance to Yellowstone.

Great location and cabin had everything we needed (full kitchen, laundry). It was quiet and comfortable. A great place to relax after a day of sight seeing. Geoff came over and showed us around and gave us great information about the area. We loved the complimentary coffee and ice cream at their shop in town. Lots of great baked goods too and the best mango smoothie. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Very easy check-in, delicious coffee and ice cream a short walk away offered free to cabin renters. Clean and nice large kitchen. Exactly what we needed for exploring Yellowstone each day.

Host was very nice. Very accommodating. Most cooking supplies available for use. Easy access to park and downtown area. Probably better for couple. We had a great time and would stay again.

Bed was super comfortable. Washer/dryer in kitchen was a nice surprise. Unit is definitely dated, but served us well.

I am VERY disappointed by the customer service at this property. The rental is listed as not allowing pets, which was a key selling point for us in deciding to rent it for part of our honey moon to Yellowstone. As soon as we sat down to enjoy the place, it became evident that all the rugs, furniture, and throw blankets were COVERED in dog hair. Not a little, a significant amount! I immediately called the owner, who had just been there checking us in and having me sign a check-in that detailed there would be a $100 fee for extra cleaning if guests broke their policy and brought pets. During that process never once did he mention anything. I didn't want him to charge us for the pet hair mess, and also then wasn't sure if he knew or realized, and hoped he would make amends. Nope! He proceeded to apologize that yes, the last people had snuck in a large dog for several days, and he would let his cleaners know, but he didn't make the cleaning happen during our stay and he offered no refund for this false advertising. I do understand that some people are not considerate and I'm sorry that the prior guests were dishonest and did not abide by the rules of this rental, but I paid for a no-pet rental and it is the owner's responsibility to provide what they, in good-faith, sold me to the best of their abilities, and if they can't, to then change the price. This was a disappointing way to end our fantastic trip to Yellowstone and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this rental to anyone as I truly wanted to spend as little time there as possible. Yuck! The whole place felt covered in grime and germs imagining what else hadn't been cleaned up.

Cabin was everything we needed for home base to Yellowstone. Great location to food, grocery, gas, anything we needed.

Roomy, older property, one bedroom cabin (with 2 attached apartments). Very quiet.
Huge, well supplied kitchen.
Large living room with several lamps and ceiling light, but lighting was still dim for comfortable reading with our 70 yo eyes.
Enjoyed the coffee provided, which is the same as used in the coffee/ice cream shop in town that is owned by the property owners. A terrific bonus was free coffee and ice cream at the coffee shop, if you mentioned you were renting their property!
We would rent again, if we are in the area, and recommend it to our friends.

A step back in time, this rustic cabin was enjoyable to stay at and blocks from the center of town and park entrance. It was quiet, with comfy bed, good shower, and roomy kitchen with everything you might need for cooking. Owners were friendly and responsive. We missed a place to sit outside and cabin lighting can be a bit dim but we would definitely rent again.

Everything about this place was as described in information provided. Geoff was always quick to respond when you needed anything and invisible the rest of the time. This is an awesome quaint place to stay for two people. If your looking for a fancy upscaled place to stay you might keep looking. But if your looking for a very comfortable, clean, cozy and convenient place that is reasonable priced, this is definately it.

It was a great place. Owners are awesome.

We had a great 3 nights here. Well equipped and comfy bed too.
Geoff was very helpful and met us when we arrived.
PS it is a beautiful drive up to Ennis Montana via route 287. Bozeman has been developed...too bad.

Very comfortable cabin and close to the park!

The cabin is clean, quiet, and very convenient to the park entrance, restaurants, and shopping. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked for meal preparation, and the rest of the furnishings cozy and comfortable with a western theme. There were many small amenities (night lights, salt, pepper and a few spices, styrofoam coolers to borrow, etc.) that made life easier for us as we traveled. The hosts were friendly and easy to contact. The cabinet n the as a great base of operations for our visit to Yellowstone National Park and we recommend it highly.

This was a great little place near town that was rustic and charming. Decor was great. Amenities very nice. Geoff knew the good places to eat and Billie makes a great cup of coffee. Thanks for the hospitality.

Wonderful Western cabin. Comfortable and clean. Close to West entrance. Keep in mind Yellowstone is big, so it might take you a while to get where you're going, but the drives are all beautiful. Don't forget the free coffee and ice cream.
