Great location, friendly staff
On a busy night peaking could be a thing

manager was fantastic, hotel was old fashioned and quirky but really nice
Not much breakfast was basic but nice. We liked the lack of tv but some may not

The hotel has tons of charm and you can see that the new ownership has worked hard on updating the rooms. It was super clean, the beds are some of the best we’ve had in a hotel in US and the staff is friendly. The location is also excellent.
The floors in our room were so sloped we joked we might go rolling off the bed at night - its charming but also something I hope they can eventually fix. This was by far the sparsest breakfast I’ve ever received at a hotel so do not go in there expecting a great feast.

Handy hotel, quirky, historic and comfortable. Close to all shops and eateries. Stopped here as part of a motorcycle road trip and would stay again
Window looked directly into another window of an unoccupied room, unfortunately all of the lights in the empty room were left on all night and shone directly into our room all night.

I loved the hospitality of the owners of this boutique hotel. I LOVED THAT IT IS HISTORIC and on Route 66. The location was excellent!
I really only have one reason for not giving the top rating. And that is, getting to the upstairs rooms with no elevator was tough for us with luggage, etc. Even returning to the room after adventuring for the day was a bit of a dread. It is 25 steep stairs. But what did we expect from a historic hotel? That is totally our fault for not asking for a ground floor room. We just didn't know to do that. My suggestion is STAY HERE. You will be glad you did. BUT, know about the stairs and try to deal with getting ground floor as you book if the stairs will be an issue.

Close to everything and was full of character
Maybe a bigger ice machine for those hot days would’ve been nice

Looked fresh, but we didn’t have any breakfast there.
Suggest add shelf over toilet - no place to put my glasses when getting in shower.

The service was excellent and the room beautiful.
We wished there was a box of tissues in the room.

The location is amazing, but the building is great and the owners are friendly. They are doing a beautiful restoration.
It is historic so do expect some creaks and stairs. No elevator. There’s just two floors so not bad. I had a knee injury and was able to navigate the stairs without much trouble.

The manager was very hospitable, helpful and friendly! The lobby was very comfortable and cozy with nice furniture. There was a second lobby.. the library that was very nice and comfortable as well. Our room was nice and the bed very comfortable and inviting! We loved our stay at the Historic Grand Hotel!
We like everything! Some of the history of this place was documented and very interesting!

It’s charming, adorable and tastefully being restored. This historic gem is in capable hands and their respect for its history and eagerness to please their guest is impressive. The library is so cool, the new mattresses are very comfortable and the instant hot water was unexpected based on my experience in other historic hotels. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.
Parking is still a little tough, but that is everywhere on Route 66 on a busy Saturday night.

the stay at the Historic Grand Canyon hotel was most pleasant thanks to the kindness of its owner. The hotel is particularly well located with a unique charm. Calm and cozy. Good humor reigns there. A great, unique experience that you shouldn't miss if you go to Williams
in reality we enjoyed almost everything including the snow. This unexpected snow gave the city a Christmas feel and it was very pleasant
