Hale Kamaluhia Poipu (Hawaiin meaning is House of Serenity at Poipu). Please feel free to check out the condo website at www.halekamaluhiapoipu.com. Kiahuna Plantation (Unit 53 in building 10) is a renovated one bedroom, one bath condo, upstairs corner unit, in a two-story plantation style building. Unit has a stunning view of the great lawn and the Twin Bridges Garden, as it is centrally located. The end, upstairs unit allows for more open louvers and great cross ventilation and is a short stroll to Kiahuna's sandy beach.
The condo comfortably sleeps four, with a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed available. The condo comes with complimentary use of the pool, fitness club and tennis courts at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club which is across the road from the complex. Kiahuna Plantation is the only condo complex in Poipu on a swimming beach; beach chairs and towels are complimentary to guests at the onsite Beach Hut.
All towels, linens and toiletries are provided to our guests. Guest services are managed by an onsite management company. The condo has air conditioning in the bedroom as well as ceiling fans and an abundance of louvered windows and doors to create cross breezes. Free wireless internet access is provided to our guests. A large flat screen television is available in the living room. Gas grills are nearby and available for our guests' use. The kitchen has a recent renovation which included stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, cabinets, sink, pots and pans. The kitchen is fully stocked should you wish to cook "at home"; there are two local supermarkets and, for those who prefer not to cook, there are many restaurants in the area. The shower was also recently renovated and has both rainforest or jet control options.
Our lanai provides a tranquil setting to dine, to have your morning coffee or to simply sit and watch the day go by or to experience the setting sun in a kaleidoscope of stunning color and splendor.
This is a remarkably peaceful place, with the manicured lawns and gardens, the stunning beach, and a true sense of the spirit of Kauai as a place for relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal.

For our 5th stay on Kauai, it was exactly what we expected in terms of property and location. Property was perfectly cleaned, kitchen is perfect (fully furnished), bedroom, bathroom, everything was perfect.
As seen on map, residence laundry is closed but zero noise from it.
Excellent property bit for couple or couple+child. Beach at 100m.
View from lanai is perfect for sunset.
Easy to go to Lihue, or to waimea canyon/Kokee state park for hiking (what we did 5 days out of 9).
We exchanged several times with Kasey, all the time helpful and fast to reply. We will come back!

Kiahuna Plantation is a special place and this unit is the reason why. The gardens are spectacular, and the peaceful setting make this a must stay. The unit is immaculate, the owner is responsive and this place is somewhere you do not want to skip. Will be back and will book this unit again. Do not hesitate to book you will not be disappointed.

Loved the proximity to the beach, on-site laundry facilities and gym across the street. The condo was very clean, organized and equipped with everything we needed for our stay and loved the use of the small cooler for our adventures away from the condo. The hosts were great to work with, especially since the unit had been sold to them after we had booked with the previous owners, making the transition easy. Mahalo and we will be back!

This is a great property, that has been updated and cared for. Kitchen had everything I needed, and we cooked in. Owner was always quick to respond when we had questions. Staying here, you get to go to the Kiahuna Club, which has a top notch gym, pickleball / tennis courts, and club restaurant. Would stay here again, it was easy nice and relaxing.

Location is very convenient. The Plantation grounds are very lovely. You can also walk to Poipu Beach and check out the turtles and Monk seals sleeping on the beach. There is also Poipu Village shopping center across the street.

the communication with the owners was excellent in making all arrangements. the suite is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and some additional niceties (wine glasses, beach chairs and umbrellas, cushions for the patio furniture, iron, blender, coffee grinder, air conditioner which hasn't been our experience in other units on this property). the unit is close to the maintenance building so there is some early morning traffic and trucks beeping when they back up delivering to the neighbouring hotel. on a more pleasant note, the bird songs in the morning are glorious.

We loved the property . Everything was very handy , laundry facilities close, BBQ close , and it was quiet . The Birds and the rooster cheerfully woke us up in the AM . The Beach was lovely as well as the boardwalk .
Only 1 thing they need to update on this listing is the cleaning fee expense . Otherwise , it was a very enjoyable condo!!

This has to be the nicest condo we have stayed in @ Kiahuna Plantation, and we have been coming here for 15 year. Beautifully decorated...such a nice view out to the big beautiful tree and yard. Other condos we have stayed in only have the very basic dishes and cooking supplies. Best selection of glasses, including “wine glasses”. There’s nothing better than having a nice glass of wine from the perfect glass. Very comfortable furniture and bed. We were here for 5 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to return next year, and the year, and year after.

Condo was perfect and looked even better than photos on VRBO. Owner was very communicative and easy to deal with. Condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We ate in most nights and had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and loved the grills on the property. We enjoyed the access to the gym across the street. Perfect location on the island. This is the third unit we have stayed in at the plantation and definitely our favorite! Being a top unit, it has vaulting ceilings with a ceiling fan in each room and A/C in the bedroom. Since it is on the corner, it also has more windows than the middle units (we counted 3 more!) which provided an amazing cross-breeze. The view of the great lawn was stunning & so relaxing to listen to the birds and smell the flowers from the lanai every morning. We love that this unit is a quick an easy walk to the beach and to the athletic club! The pool, waterslide, sandy beach / wading area, fitness center, ping pong, and poolside drink & food service at the fitness center are top notch. We walked down to the beach every night for the AMAZING sunsets and even spotted some turtles surfing in the waves. The unit itself has been remodeled so nicely & had everything we needed including beach gear, kitchen tools, games, etc. The rainfall shower (which also has jets!) was a highlight. To top it all off, James and Shaun were amazing hosts. So kind, friendly, organized and responsive! We highly recommend booking through them and staying in their lovely condo. We hope to return in the future!!

Culinary wares were upscale, and used during our stay. Good location for our planned activities. Room had scenic area by the courtyard; we enjoyed our coffee and meals on the lanai.
Other amenities, such as laundry room, pool were more than satisfactory. Room was nicely decorated and homey.

Great spot close to beaches, restaurants, and shops. Unit is right across from the laundry building which was very convenient. The pool across the street was included with our stay and very nice. The AC in the bedroom was clutch and very necessary to have if you’re used to having AC in warm climates, no way we could’ve slept without it. Unit was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen amenities, as well as beach amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. Would stay here again!

We loved how this home felt so Hawaiian! It wasn’t fancy but it was cozy and felt like home the moment we walked in. The kitchen was well stalked which made cooking easy! We LOVED the shutters that open and let the ocean breeze in through the night. It was quiet and mellow around the property and the landscape was so lush and tropical. The ocean was so close which made it easy to walk with the kids. We absolutely loved the pool and gym! So nice that that is included in the stay. James was a wonderful host who checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was truly one of the best vacations of our lives.

We enjoyed the unit, especially the lovely view of the garden from the lanai. Nice location with easy walk to the beach and surrounding areas. Love the grounds of Kiahuna. Some kitchen appliances required replacement/ repair and it took a couple of days for staff to respond.

This condo was great - clean, spacious and close to beach access entry. The only thing I would suggest is purchasing a new standalone fan. The tower fan in the room turned on, but made a loud mechanical sound so we couldnt use it. Overall, excellent place to stay on Kauai!

We enjoyed a fabulous week in James and Shaun's condo. It's well appointed with an updated kitchen and bathroom, and the view off of the lanai is gorgeous. Close to a fabulous beach, we swam, saw seals, dolphins and whales off shore and even signed up for a surfing lesson. Being a corner unit on the second floor afforded lots of privacy. There's an air conditioning unit but we never needed it with the prevailing winds and ceiling fans. If and when we come back to Kauia we would definitely try to book here again.

Great condo for a couple to stay! Comfortable, clean, beach closet full of everything you’d need for the beach, and great balcony looking out onto the plantation. The kitchen is stocked with any and all tools you need to make your own meals. Short walk to the beach, multiple restaurants and the athletic club! We loved our stay and would highly recommend!
