About this apartment rental
A once in a lifetime opportunity awaits guests of LOFT 1892, a beautifully restored condo on the corner of Downtown Greenville's N Main St and East North St. Pets are welcome with a one time fee.
This home features 2 luxurious master suites with state-of-the-art walk in showers, and four-poster beds.
The Loft was built around 1892, and began as a grocery store. The hardwoods are original, except for the kitchen, and the Queen bed, and beams are period as well.
You can't get any closer to Downtown than this! The beautiful pink building is situated right on N Main St and East North St. Step down the stairs from your loft right into the bustling street to grab food from our amazing restaurants or shop at local boutiques.
Guests will need to park on the street (Free on weekends if you can find a space) or for $7/day in the parking garage less than a block away.
The entrance to the condo is between downtown businesses, and leads to a large, carpeted stairwell that brings you to the Loft.
Once inside, the intricate details of this condo will take your breath away-- ornate door knobs, beautiful crown molding, antique artwork, and a fully remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops are but the tip of the iceberg in this luxury accommodation.
The living room is inviting and warm, featuring a mix of modern and antique pieces. A large screen TV is available for you to login to your streaming apps (no cable). The windows at the end of the living room look straight out over Main Street, and can be opened to enjoy the view and the breeze.
The kitchen features bar seating for 3 as well as a cozy reading nook with blue velvet wingback chairs. After passing through the kitchen, guests will come to the Master Bedroom, situated at the back of the condo.
This large room features those beautiful original 1892 hardwood floors, a King four-poster bed, cozy reading chair, and a TV. There is a dresser for clothes and a large closet for storing formal attire.
The en suite bath is truly stunning. A double vanity and toilet nook start off the space, but what really gives it the wow-factor is the large tiled walk in shower complete with 3 shower heads-- a standard one, hand-held shower head, and the coveted rain shower head-- like having a personal spa!
Off of the kitchen and behind the living room is the second suite.
This one is adjacent to main street and features a 19th century handmade wooden four-poster bed (Queen size). 2 nightstands, a dresser, reading chair, and small TV fill out this gorgeous room.
The en suite bath does not disappoint, as it has a large single vanity as well as a walk in shower with dual shower heads.
After enjoying the artistry and serenity of the first floor, you'll want to explore the second level.
Guests can climb a large, spiral staircase to an additional loft seating area with a large corner desk for getting some much needed work done.
The seating area is cozy, as the walls are covered with high-end boards, giving it a rustic, inviting feel.
The seating area leads to a back door, which takes guests to our roof-top deck. A large seating area ensues, and an outdoor TV is available (streaming only) for an evening movie night. You just can't beat the view-- standing on top of this iconic, historic building looking out over Main Street!
No matter if you are coming for business, pleasure, honeymoon, wedding night, or special anniversary, we cannot wait to host you at LOFT 1892.
*Pet fee will be charged when booking or requested after your reservation, if applicable*
We allow our guests to keep to themselves and enjoy their stay, but are always just a message away if needed.
Your neighborhood is the highlight of Greenville! A short walk from the post-card famous Fall's Park with its beautiful view of Reedy Falls from the suspension bridge and all the fun, food, and entertainment that Main St offers.
If only looking to explore downtown, a car will not be needed, as everything you may need (including pharmacy/drug store) is in walking distance.
However, if you'd like to explore other areas of Greenville, such as shopping at the malls, or getting out to the 3 local state parks, you may prefer to have a car.
Smoking is permitted outside, provided all exterior doors are closed and buds are disposed of safely (ie, not in a trash bag/paper cup/or other flammable container).
Smoking indoors is prohibited and will incur a $250 fine.

Perfect location, overlooking Main St. where all the shopping/restaurants are. Also walking distance to Bon Secours arena where we saw a show. Place was very clean, kitchen well appointed with every thing & spice you could need, comfy beds, and extras of everything provided (toilet paper, dishwasher pods, towels, etc.). Appreciated the minimal but charming decor, and the updated bathrooms & kitchen. Also appreciated that ear plugs were provided as we needed them on Friday night. Please note there are 20+ stairs & no elevator to reach the apartment. Our entry code was not working when we arrived & no contact number was provided in the check-in instructions. After going back through prior communications & the VRBO listing, finally found a link to a phone number in the original listing & the person we spoke to was helpful, but would have appreciated the phone number included with the check-in info. Especially when standing in the pouring rain trying to get in.

I live in Grenville but had two friends coming into town and we decided to stay downtown. The condo is beautiful, very well appointed, had everything we needed. The location was so great we walked to dinner at Bergamo lunch at Roost, rented bikes to ride along the swamp rabbit trail and walked to shops and the comedy zone for a show. My guests had a great time and it was a fun staycation for me. Highly recommend this condo!
