Me and me husband stayed here in October and we had the best time. We saw so many deer right in front where we parked our car at the hotel and lots of elk and turkey along the road leading up to town towards the Stanley Hotel. It was probably a 7 min drive to the Stanley from ours. We stayed here because it’s only a few miles to the entrance of RMNP and was so worth it to hike or just drive. Very beautiful!!
We had room #35 which is on 3rd floor with a balcony and hot tub(which was amazing and clean) and had a beautiful view. We have already told our family and friends about this place and can’t wait to come back!! Thank you so much!!

It’s very peaceful . The lights outside make it look like Christmas. Not far from town and really close to RMNP. Very happy with our stay

I always have such anxiety booking a hotel I’m not familiar with….this place was clean and I was super happy with my room. The ease of online check in was so nice!!!!

Our stay here was wonderful- we loved it so much I have booked again and we are headed back this weekend. The mountain view from the hot tub was incredible, a short drive to RMNP and shopping/dining in Estes. We have recommended this place to many, and cannot wait to stay again this weekend!!!

Enjoyed the quietness. Older property, clean, close to the RMNP entrance. Easy contactless check in and out but no on property staff after hours.

Great stay! Cute room, much bigger than we thought it would be! Lots of space to spread out, eat at the table, relax on the couch, or even sit outside on the deck. Super close to Fall River Rd. Entrance to RMNP. Less than 2 minutes away! We never had to wait in any lines to get in. We loved everything about this hotel and highly recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here and would DEFINITELY stay here again. If staying in Estes Park, I would definitely recommend staying here. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the entire property was nestled in the mountains with stunning views across the entire property. We even got to see some elk in the early hours of the morning right from our balcony! We stayed in a suite with a hot tub, I highly recommend booking one of those rooms if available. The property is a short drive to downtown Estes Park and approximately 30-45 minute drive to Rocky Mtn Ntl Park, depending on where in the park you are headed.

Beautiful spacious cabin, full size kitchen, balcony with therapeutic views. 10 mnts from downtown Estes Park, 5 mnts from the Rocky Mountains Entrance. Professional staff.
The TVs and couches could use an upgrade. No washer and dryer on site which is a slight inconvenience if you’re staying for a week or so. But overall, great place. Will definitely consider booking again.

The Staff was wonderful. We had a very delayed flight coming in that caused us to miss our first night hotel in Denver, we arrived so early in morning we just decided to head to Estes Park and start our adventure at Rocky Mountain. We were so tired from not sleeping the night before, and traveling with kids, we called and asked if there would be any possibility of checking in a little early, even for a fee. The staff was very understanding of our situation and helped us to get in our room ahead of check in! It was a much appreciated perk and we would surly come back! There were elk right outside our room and we were able to avoid driving through the traffic in town to enter the national park. Great stay!

Property was very clean. Staff was accommodating in sending check-in information early as we weren’t sure of Wi-Fi availability. Could use a few more utensils in kitchen and bathroom could be more centrally located but otherwise condo was very nice.

The web-based check-in process was awful; took about an hour to get in. The person helping by phone finally got it done, but was very hard to understand. The place itself was very nice, but our unit was poorly marked for finding after dark; had to ask another guest to help us find it. There is definitely a down-side to having very little human assistance or interaction. They had a tv, but no instructions on how to use it (that we could find.) After the initial headaches, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall it was a very wonderful place, but i will book directly through the property next time. Expedia was absolutely abhorrent in their customer service. Some woman from India sent us into a fury by first calling us (i missed the call) then I called back and she answered. I gave her all oh our booking information and she STILL insisted that we did not have a booking. I checked my bank and I was clearly charged by Expedia for a room there. I never did catch her name I wish I had, I would report her incompetence. My boyfriend called the Inn directly and finally got an American on the phone who assured us that we did indeed have a room ready for us.
Dont book hotels through Expedia, this will be the last time we use them. There so called "points" are not worth the anger and hassle from trying to work with some a-hole from India.
Expedia is impeding me from posting this. There is nothing harmful.

Perfect. Plenty of room. Clean and organized. Will definitely try to stay again.

This was quite a surprise property, and I wanted to leave a review. Everything was handled remotely and it was difficult to get anyone on the phone to answer questions until the automated texts come in 2 days before, after that just reply to texts. Everything was lovely. I took videos, there’s lovely places to gather and views were beautiful on both sides, felt a little like a getaway with no one. Staff and maintenance were discrete but you’d see them working. Love the outside gathering place and fire pit, spa room with access to hot tub, it’s there you just have to walk around the grounds to find it. Really loved everything. Especially since your 9 min from all the hustle and bustle and things to do so you still get the vibe your in the woods and mountains without city hustle.

Very very nice place for the price. Will be back for sure.

I reached out twice to complain about the misrepresentation of this property. It was presented as a full kitchen, and there was only a microwave and mini fridge in a closet. We lost money for groceries. Only bad experience I’ve had on Hotels.com.

Thought I reserved a deluxe room with a kitchenette. Got a tiny room with a few dishes and silverware in a drawer and a toaster and microwave stacked on top of a tiny fridge.
I did not get email with room number & access code. Had to call (no on-site staff) and was treated rudely, was told I should have reserved with them directly, not through Expedia. I feel I was given a crappy unit because of this, but again, no on-sight staff to discuss this. Overall, not at all happy with my stay.

1. Code was not working when arrived at 11pm n they couldnt fix faster enoughy as they are not in the propety. N very hard to communicate
2. Rember this is nit a hotel or inn served by the house attendants. You should do cleaning n changing ber sheet. If you are staying over 2 days. Your room is filled with trashes n towels
.( learned that lster i should clean up trashes but where to put towels??)
3. They are remotely worked. Never seen them in my 5 daus stay n very hard to contact them. When contacted, lots of time the staff in charge doest know the house rules .. after my 1 request, they said would do the housekeeping .. n fpund the next day I NEED TO PAY FOR THE HOUSEKEEPING BY EXPEDIA AGENT!!!
4. All furnitures are very old n carpet floor smells. Lack of kitchen stuff n TOILET PAPERS .. 4 rolls of papers in 5days stay for 4 people
Towels are old so yellowish. Some are new so can see yellow n white.
5. No signs of hot tub - where it is. N public fire place is not working thpugh it looks nicr.
6. Close to the Rocky mountain .
7 conclusion - ok to stay 1 day to trail for rocky mt but dont stay over 2 nights.. VERY VERY UNPLESANT

This property is as close as you can get to the National Park and yet so convenient to the town of Estes Park. Excellent location. It had a small kitchen which was perfect.
I found it strange though that there is nobody managing the property on-site. It felt somehow impersonal and abandoned. Check-in and check-out is all on the phone. And no room cleaning during the stay.

For a short stay it was fine. Needs to be updated in the kitchen and some of the furniture. Enjoyed the fire pit. No office so little interaction with anyone.

Great place for the family!! If you have kids this is your place! Also great for a get away! They all have hot tubs and great service.

There are no staff members at the lodging. you check in on cell phone and are given room number and a code to open the door. The battery in smoke detector was low and it chirped all night long the first night as no staff there. It did get fixed the second day after I texted them. No cleaning of room. The room amenities shown on Expedia were not what we got. No oven or stovetop. I believe this is Expedia's fault rather than Wildwood Inn.

The hot tub was good. Was fingernail clippings and hair in the sink. Bed was unmade. Dishes were dirty. Only one towel for the whole place, so we couldn't use the hot tub. They did fix it.
