The YMCA Rockies Estes Park was a very nice place to stay and convenient to the Rockies NP and Estes Park. Our room was very basic and did not have a TV, which was fine with us because it was clean and fit our basic needs. We had a bonus because in the morning we were able to see the Elk walking through the grounds

This was a lower end room in the YMCA complex. I would have liked a nicer room. The price was good but still would have liked to have a better choice. There was no one else in the entire building which was nice

Its a large property. Nice views. Customer services are poor. Cheap furniture. Low price.

We booked this as part of our multi-day trip around Colorado and stayed 4 nights. We loved everything about it except the beds-they were terrible. The property was great! Elk everywhere, nice patios with great views. All the staff were super nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Hiked Rocky Mountain National Park and stayed in a nice, quite, comfortable place.

The grounds and activities are amazing. Definitely enjoyed the beautiful views & sitting around the bonfire. On the other hand, the room was not clean and had basic things (sheets/towels). Did not realize until after receiving a separate email that room did not have a TV or A/C. Thankfully we did not stay in the summer.

Very bare bones room description not accurate. Call ymca directly and ask 3 times if you have any preferences. Not clean or nice. Everything was very old bed linens carpet bathroom mini fridge. Room was not family friendly. They didnt consider that we had 2 littles when putting us in our room and didnt proclvide enough of anything for a family of 5. Beds were terrible. Room was dirty. Too pricey for room. Staff seemed friendly and views were amazing. No elevators or air conditioners.

Love it

The bed was uncomfortable. It sunk down in the middle. Also no coffee pot in room and no hair dryer. Only one chair.

Arrival was incredibly stressful. We knew there would be a 6pm check in time but that time came and went and our room still wasn’t ready. Attempted to get an update at 6:30 and was told it still wasn’t ready and they could not give any approximate time that it might be ready. The kids were getting very rustless because it was getting dark and cold outside but it was either stay outside and play on the basketball court or wait inside the lodge for who knows how long they were also tired and just wanted to get into the room. At 7:30 we went back up to the desk to get an update as we were ready to just cancel our reservation and drive back home for the night; however, our room was finally ready. With check out time being 10am it just felt wrong to not have a room till 7:30pm. This will definitely be part of my consideration for any future stays especially since the beds are very uncomfortable as well. Trying to sleep 2 people in the queen bed and you have to fight rolling into the center of the bed, we slept terribly.

I have been a YMCA member for a long time and that is why I chose to stay at a YMCA. Totally regretted that decision. The staff wasn't welcoming and the room was half decent. The door is missing a latch and a deadbolt. We felt unsecure as anyone who has the master key could enter our room without our knowledge. Not to mention there's no AC in the room and the window screen has big holes rendering it useless. As if that wasn't enough, the shower drain was clogged and the maintenance guy couldn't come in until the next morning. So, we had to shower with dirty water pooling up to our ankle and we had to watch the water level so we didn't flood our room. Oh not to mention the room had paper thin walls and terrible mattress. Advice for others: splurge a little, spend $20 more and go to Holiday Inn instead.

The experience was great, it was my first time staying at YMCA, and I was amazed by the amenities offered and size of the the land. Staff was very nice, and would definitely would recommend friends and families to stay there again.

Probably best thing about it is location. Saw Elks right outside the room.
Breakfast options are good.
Room was below average. Beds were not comfortable, you could hear other people from other rooms

Rooms had no air conditioner just a box fan. Also the bath tub was filthy and the bathroom sink too. Pile of someone else hair in the tub drain when I turned the water on in tub. Dust in all the corners of room on walls and floors. Out dated but that can be o relooked a little. Outside was taken care of pretty well but the inside was not. I will not be going back.

This was my first time staying at the YMCA of the Rockies. I had no idea how big the property was, and all the different facilities there were. There were "camps" of children and teenagers while I was there, but the building I was in was very quiet. I stayed there to visit Rocky Mountain National Park, so was not in my room that much, but when I was there, the people around were very pleasant.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. It reminded me of the film Dirty Dancing. Everything was under one roof and the entertainment and activities on offer were fantastic.
I was gutted we couldn't stay for longer

We loved staying at the YMCA. The property was incredible and the amenities were fantastic. We will probably be back soon!

Noisy due to a lot of kids on an overnight stay. They were good kids. I will just make sure to inquire about my room location next time. I’ll definitely go again.

6pm check in is ridiculous when you have to check out by 10am... gives absolutely NO TIME to enjoy any of the facilities with a place for downtime.

The room was just ok. It fit the bill because I was only staying in it for 10 hours. Pillows were more on the flat side, and not very comfortable but I grabbed extras from the bunk beds. What bothered me the most was the bright hallway light coming from underneath the door. I just ended up throwing a blanket from one of the other beds on the floor to cover it up. If you’re a sensitive sleeper I recommend bringing earplugs. I could hear anytime someone was using their sink.

Do not use if vacationing things more family camping or teen camping trips . It was just me and my husband and it didn’t fit our needs

I was a bit concerned about lack of air conditioning in the rooms having never been to this area before. An open window and a floor fan had the room a comfy 68 degrees resulting in a terrific night's sleep.

This property is perfect for summer camps or family trips but not for a couple needing an evening of rest and relaxing. There is no tv in room. No coffee maker for a morning cup and no toiletries.

The rooms are dated and there is no television BUT this place has so many wonderful things, you should definitely go! The grounds are nestled in the mountains near Rocky Mountain National Park. The views are goregeous! The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers. There is so much to do. To mention just a few, there's miniature golf, horseback riding, archery, climbing walls, playgrounds, hiking, cookout areas, suspended bridges in trees to climb on, etc. There is an elk herd that visits every day and the massive bull is a sight to behold.
Who needs television? The only negative for me was the only restaurant on the premises. The Aspen Room. It's a buffet breakfast for about $15. The biscuits were old and hard. The grapefruit was sliced days ago. The rind was winkled and dry and the pulp had no juice. Over priced for what is offered. There are much nicer restaurants a short drive away.
This is a great place for families and singles. I was alone and had a wonderful time!

It’s a beautiful place, great selection of activities and services. We made the short trip into town to eat at restaurants. Highlight of the trip was seeing a herd of elk relaxing on the baseball field. Also saw deer. We stayed in one of the dorm-style lodges in a family room, and the only drawback was a school group clomping around overhead. Next time we’ll do one of the cabins.

Lovely properly.
It was tough to pay so much for the room and have a broken screen so we couldn't open the window at night in a very hot room

It makes sense to stay here, given that Estes Park is tiny and chockfull of traffic.

Had to wait for room, but scenery great, saw up close elk and deer

My daughter and granddaughter had the best time here!! Room was very clean and quiet. So many fun things to do and most of it for free a little fee. Staff is amazing and so nice and helpful. We are all ready planning to come back next year. Thank you YMCA for a fantastic weekend 😊!

Great location close to the park.
