About this house rental

This upper unit rental sits at the base of the Newport Pier at the center of all the action and surrounding shops and eateries - you’ll have the best of the beach at your feet.

Enjoy cool sea breezes, the sound of the surf and breathtaking ocean and Catalina views from the deck off the living area. The comfortable living room has a flat panel TV, ample seating for the whole family along with a pull out sofa bed. A nearby dining table has seating for six for quick meals or family dinners. The newly remodeled kitchen has everything you need for whipping up family meals.

Two tidy bedrooms, one with a king and the other with a set of twin bunk beds and a twin bed, share a hall bath. The full bathroom features beautiful tile and fixtures with a mosaic back splash on the sink and decorative mosaic accent in the shower. A hall air conditioning unit will cool the bedrooms on hot evenings.

The rental has one assigned parking space. The laundry room is downstairs at the rear of the restaurant on your right as you enter through the back.

The bike path/boardwalk runs right out front, your ticket to exploring the Peninsula on two-wheels or on foot. The Newport Pier is just outside your door with shops and local eateries galore. The Balboa Pier is a mile and a half away – a 30-minute walk – with more shops and restaurants. The grocery store and more options at 32nd Street are a ten-minute walk.

There is nothing better then staying on the beach. Getting to watch the beatiful sunsets and hear the waves. This location was so nice right on the Newport Beach Pier.

This was my family's first Spring Break stay in Newport. This location was wonderfully placed near the pier boardwalk to be close to the restaurants and shops yet it was private enough to step away when you needed some quiet. The location over the Pipeline was quiet and the view was amazing! We appreciated the heaters on the balcony and inside the home as well. The house is updated and has a warm beach vibe. It was clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and the property management team was very efficient and helpful. The welcome gift was a wonderful touch! Thank you Vicki from Burr White, we appreciate your help! We would definitely book again!

This property is at Newport Beach Pier right on the walking/biking trail to Balboa Pier (1.5 miles). It is an older (classic!) unit, but is clean and has a renovated kitchen and bathroom. It is above a take-out restaurant that is hardly noticeable (no smells or noise). Great place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is in an amazing location and the unit itself is very nice. The only downside was parking but thats to be expected when you're staying down by the beach. I was concerned about the noise before we came but that didn't end being a factor at all. Overall this place was exactly what we expected it be and we couldn't have asked for a a better stay.

We’ve stayed in Newport by the Pier a couple of times before but this was our first time at this property. We loved it! The unit was well stocked, extremely comfortable/cozy and the location is wonderful with a lot of food options and bars around.The property has a back entrance so there is no front access to the beach however the walk is short and easy. We did not consider this prior to arrival and other properties we’ve stayed at have front stairs straight to the beach however with the Pipeline restaurant below this wouldn’t be feasible. You have to go out the back alley and around the restaurants/shops just to the right of the property but again, it’s a short distance and easy walk. There is AC! They even have a small portable one for the living area (larger is by bedrooms in back) which is a first for us at the beach and absolutely made our stay more comfortable. The bedrooms/beds, living area, and bathroom are all well appointed, updated, and very comfortable. There is no laundry facility, which was fine, but also something we’ve had at other rentals. It is a nice option to have with kids and beach grime but not at all a deal breaker for us. Overall we really loved our stay here and will definitely be back! We did arrive later than the check in time so the rental office was closed but they accommodated a virtual check in for us. We were notified that the unit was ready pretty early in the day (earlier than check in); if we’d been closer we’d have had an “extra” day!

Loved this place! It was clean, views were good, ice cream downstairs was perfect- especially with the discount! There are stairs to enter and laundry was not super accessible. But that didn't matter because the place was so great!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location was perfect! The parking is tight but we were thankful to have a guaranteed spot for our rental SUV. The property was stocked with everything needed to make you feel at home, and then some. When we return to the area we'll stay at this property again!

Great location on beach and very close to great dining all within walking distance. Parking is tight, a small SUV is optimal. Bike, Surfboard, Paddle Board rentals all next door! Although near the nightclub scene, it’s very quiet and private.

We had the best time. The cute big balcony over the beach wall was the best. We played cards and enjoyed the perfect weather. All great restaurants were just put the door. Perfect location!

This property is the perfect place for budget minded individuals to have a million dollar view and stay in a great location. The condo was the perfect place for my 2 friends and I to spend 5 nights. The inside of the condo was very comfortable and updated. While the outside could use a little TLC, it was very functional and provided an awesome view to people watch and view the sunset. Absolutely loved walking up and down the oceanfront walkway to see all the incredible neighboring homes and the ocean. Condo has everything you needs from fans to towels to beach chairs. I would highly recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love this condo. I have been renting it for the past few years. The air conditioner was broken and Burr white never called to try and have it fixed or resolve the issue. The owner loaned me a swamp cooler that I had to refill myself with ice going up and down the stairs to and from the Pipeline witch he owns as well. I had to buy fans to try and cool down the condo. Also the employees of the Pipeline’s family members hit my Car in the parking lot and wouldn’t be truthful at first about what had happened. The owner did comp my family a pizza tho. I pay around 4K a year for this rental for one weekend and after this and knowing my business isn’t appreciated I will not be renting from Burr white again or this condo. Very sad because my family has grown to feel comfortable and a family ritual.

Upside: The management company is AMAZING!!! This property is in a prime location to the pier. For the price point I don't think you find an ocean front property like this. You can walk or bike anywhere. The parking is in the back so you interact with the staff at the restuarant below all the time. They are super helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the home cozy. The downsides. The is place was recently remodeled but rugs, bedding and furniture is dated. There is a bar scene and a homeless population (small) but we weren't out late enough for either to become a huge issue. I think this place is a win--win for any family of 4.
