About this house rental
Stone Cottage is a bespoke one bedroom holiday let set amongst the stunning Shropshire hills. All you will need from one nights stay and longer from a comfy king size bed to a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is a stones throw away from the weekly Parkrun in the Severn Valley country park and 2 miles away from The Mill Barns wedding venue.
The space
The open plan sitting room and kitchen is airy with its high beamed ceiling, two seater leather sofa, HD Free view TV and a stunning view over the Shropshire hills from the stable door.
From the sitting room you have a large shower with washbasin and toilet.
The Bedroom is spacious with a comfortable mattress, bedside tables and lamps, full length mirror, stool, chest of draws and wardrobe.
Please note that although the cottage is all one level there is a step up to the open plan kitchen/sitting room and one step down to the bedroom.
Area - Beautiful walks along the River Seven, trips on the Severn Valley Railway & lovely pub lunches are just a stone's throw away. We have lots to do locally such as visits to the historic towns of Ludlow, Bridgnorth and
Shrewsbury. Days out to the Black Country Museum, Blisthill and Iron Bridge. We are also only a five-minute drive from the Mill Barns Wedding Venue making Stone Cottage an ideal pre or post wedding stop over. Please get in touch today to learn more.
Please note before booking -
Dogs - … If you intend to bring a dog, you must inform us before your stay. We welcome one well-behaved dog for an additional £15 per four legged friend cleaning charge. All we ask is that your dog stays off the soft furnishing, you pick up any dog mess and that your dog isn't left unattended.
The cottage has a tiled floor with some rugs but you might like to bring your slippers or some fluffy socks 🧦
There is a stone track access to the cottage that is a little bumpy, however both small and large vehicles can travel easily.
Other things to note
Recycling - Plastics, tins and glass wear can be placed in the black boxes provided to the right of the cottage. All other waste can be placed in the black wheelie bin. Thank you
The hot water in the sinks are powered by a little heater under the sink. If you switch the tap on quickly and full the water does not get time to heat. If this happens please turn the tap off and then back on to approximately 3/4 on.
There are some spare tea/hand towels in the lower cupboard next to the fridge along with some plastic bags, basic tools, a first aid kit and a lantern. Can I ask if you've used any of the first aid kit, towels or the battery goes on the lantern that you just drop me a line before you leave so I know to replenish. Thank you.
