About this apartment rental
PERFECT FOR : a family or group looking for a social place close to the village centre.
THE BUILDING : recently renovated, has 4 floors and is home to about 10 individual apartments. La Terrasse is on the 1st floor and is accessed via a wide staircase inside the building.
INSIDE : is a minimal but cosy feel with new furniture throughout and original artwork on the walls. It has 3 bedrooms, a family bathroom and an ensuite shower room. There is a central corridor running along the apartment. On the right as you enter, is the small bunk room, (the room is small but the single beds are full size singles – ok for adults, as well as children) with access onto the large roof terrace. Next on the right is a double bedroom and opposite this, on the left of the corridor, is the family bathroom with bath (shower overhead) and WC. Next on the right is the large lounge and kitchen/diner, and opposite this, on the left of the corridor is a utility room with washer/dryer. At the end of the corridor is the master bedroom with an ensuite shower and WC.
OUTSIDE : you can enjoy spectacular mountain views all round, from the large roof terrace, lounging on the sofa or from the dining table, where you can enjoy outside dining and make use of the coal BBQ. There is a second small balcony on the opposite side of the apartment facing the Les Houches ski slopes.
GREAT LOCATION : for families and beginner skiers as it’s just moments away from the small Tourchet ski slope (which has night skiing each Thursday in the winter school holidays) and the external ice rink. Here you can also eat and drink at the Solerey micro-brewery. Just a few minutes walk from here you reach the centre of the Les Houches village, and all its amenities.
GETTING AROUND : is easy with the bus stop just outside on the main road, and the train station is only a few minutes walk away. Buses are free with your ski pass/lift pass, or you can buy tickets online in advance or on the bus. Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards (Carte d’hotes), which give you free travel on the local train service plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. Night bus’s run between Argentiere and Les Houches and cost 4€ per person.

There is WiFi internet and a SMART TV with French channels and Netflix.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a kettle, toaster and coffee/expresso machine which takes ground coffee.
