1 night stay close to arena - large room and breakfast . Having some building work but didn’t affect stay

Buckets everywhere as a result of leaks and poor plumbing. No hot water on the morning. Generally worn down and badly in need of investment. Staff nice though. Just not worth £180 a night.

The hotel was just what we wanted close to the city centre with parking this was at an additional cost but it was only £20 for 24hours. The room was dated but it had all the essential facilities, hair dryer, tea and coffee, iron, shampoo conditioner and shower gel all of this was good quality and I used it instead of unpacking my own. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. We would definitely stay again if we came to Leeds.

It was okay. The room was quite small, the bathroom was cold, and the parking was a nightmare. I asked for a quiet room but was awoken by outside noise at around 4:30. My room had no USB sockets, the windows were old fashioned and single glazed. The staff were very nice, on the plus side, however. The worst was the parking on site. A charge of £20, for limited spaces that meant the only way out was to reverse either up or down a ramp into busy traffic, through a tight-ish stone archway (that is so easy to miss on arrival as there's no signage) is very overpriced. Any rest you might get from a night in the hotel swiftly evaporates when you try to leave the carpark!

Staff were so helpful and friendly, great room service food was good. Main areas of hotel very nice. Room small and dated. Furniture in room too large and heavy, husband hit his head on bedside table in the night. For a city centre hotel some noise is to be expected but assumed there would be adequate glazing/sound proofing. Unfortunately not, was kept awake most of the night by the nightclub directly outside our room, thumping bass, crashing bottles being emptied in bins, screaming and shouting. In additional to this, you can hear every footstep, voices and doors slamming in the corridor so this was endured at all hours as people returned from nights out. To sum up, nice main hotel facilities, great staff, dated small rooms, very noisy, possibly the worst night we've ever had in a hotel in terms of sleep.

Lovely hotel, close to the train station and close to the night life. It was ideal for the 1 night. The style is perfect for the character of the hotel. Not that is affected our stay but, the room was a little "tired" and is in need of a bit of up keeping. The floor in our room, was very creaky and felt wobbly. Paint chipped off the door and the lighting was quite dark. However, we did notice that a few corridors were closed off and looked like they may be getting a refurb.

Clean room. Attentive staff. Old room which would benefit from an update but still very clean.

A favourite place to stay when I visit Leeds. Walking distance from the station with a wheelie case and close to the shops and restaurants. Stephanie was very helpful at check in and the bar is cosy with a TV and good menu. It's a quiet hotel, so perfect for a busy trip. Good hot and powerful shower is a bonus!

Staff are lovely here. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is getting a bit worn. Our room was very small for a double and very hot. Could not open windows due to city noise (understandable). Marks on the bedding that looked like ink or dye. Pleased that due to having some credit with hotels.com I didn't pay full price. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and thought the prices were good for a hotel.

For £150 for 1 night stay, I expected better. Normally, rooms are over £200 a night. I certainly wouldn’t pay that and won’t return.
The hotel is currently covered in scaffolding so, unless you know where it is, it’s difficult to find. As I was driving, missing the hotel twice and having to suffer Leeds its one way system was extremely frustrating. The car park was also difficult to find. At a cost of £20 to park too, that’s quite a lot to pay, in my opinion.
The carpets are threadbare and the furniture in my room was tired at best. The bathroom was functional but badly in need of updating.

It was an unexpected stopover, I had no change of clothes etc and I just needed a bed for the night. I did however have my charging cable for my mobile phone but there was no USB sockets to plug into in the room which was disappointing.
