We stay here a lot when in town to visit family and love this hotel and its unique atmosphere.
We are giving it a 4/5 stars for this trip because we asked for an extra blanket and the front desk acted very bitter towards us about it and made us come downstairs to get it. Then we had room service delivered for dinner one evening and the young man bringing it to our room was complaining the whole time about how much he doesn’t like his job.

Regal and classy are a few words that come to mind to describe this hotel. We also had a delicious dinner and listened to live music outside on the patio. Our room was spacious with beautiful furniture, a comfy bed and relaxing shower. If we are back in West Virigina we will stay again, without question.

We enjoyed the 2 night stay at the Blennerhassett. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space and the rainfall shower head was great. We arrived in a downpour and although we did not use the valet parking, a young gentleman came out with an umbrella for us and helped us take our bags to our room. A walk through the hotel checking out the photographs gives you insight to the area, as well as the hotel. There is also a spa on sight. We recommend the tour of the Blennerhassett Island via the sternwheeler.

Our first time staying at this lovely historic hotel. The staff really makes all the difference. We had a delicious meal in the surprisingly pretty courtyard patio, and they even have a sommelier who comes over to chat, even if you’re just getting wine by the glass. Our favorite part was they host a dog adoption service and there’s always a dog you can pet or even take them on a walk if you want. We had Baxter who was sooo sweet. All the staff were top-notch.

Not much to do in this small town, but, we love the hotel, bar, dining and don’t need to leave the place. Will stay here anytime we go this way traveling. Big shout out to Anna our bartender!

The room was well appointed with a very comfy bed, covers over the cups and mugs, luxurious towels (and plenty of them!) in the bathroom... complimentary continental breakfast was excellent and had freshly baked muffins and cookies! Honestly plan to go back if I need to spend the night in that area again.

we booked for one night and other than some people standing outside by the elevators talking loudly (our room was right next to the elevators) the stay was fine. The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. The bar staff in the lounge were the highlite of the stay. They were so nice and more entertaining than the olympics on the TV. The host at the restaurant was super nice and accommodating as was the woman at the cafe who made me a great peach smoothie.
