When the lights were on, you could see some patchwork needed for the plumbing and behind the TV. When the lights were off, cockroaches everywhere! I left after seeing a cockroach on the bedspread, the walls, bathroom and TV. I understand it's the south, but roaches should not be easily able to enter the unit (on the second floor no less)

The first room had water dripping from the ceiling and smelled like mold. Second room had a bug problem i saw at least ten bugs that i had to kill.

Absolutely disgusting! Nothing like the pics shown, workers were very rude...room was dirty, had hairs all over the sheets, and cockroaches everyhwere. I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me to.

Roaches everywhere!!! Like joes appt. It was bad. Anywhere outside smelled bad. The door had no latch. AC unit worked but not well.

Nice room for the price that you pay. Seems like the police harass the hotel customers around the area because of the kind of economic class that this hotel and the surrounding hotels attract due to the lower prices that are available at the hotels in this area. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and downtown Birmingham.

Really, no bath towels? There were none in the room when I checked in, and when I asked for 2 at the front desk (for the 2 people in my party) they only provided me with one and said they didn't have any more. Not one of my better Motel 6 experiences...

As soon as I walked into the room I saw 3 cockroaches and then another before going to the front desk to get my money back on both rooms. My son and his girlfriend were in the room next door and saw 1 cockroach. In the meantime I walked in to my son’s room and a gentleman in a wheelchair came in behind me wanting to party. Needless to say we didn’t stay at this Motel 6 and will not stay here.

I liked that we had a parking spot right outside our room and didn't have to use stairs. Room was clean but beds were not all that comfortable but for the price and our needs it was sufficient for one night
