Welcoming and helpful staff at the front desk. Checking in was a breeze. Super clean, convenient, and comfortable room.

Positive:
The price was good, the room was a good size and the front desk staff was nice.
Negative: The shower opened to the toilet and was hard to get into. Water stains on main door and it was so hard to open and close. Holes/burn marks in bedding.
We had to get a new key and they didn’t even ask for ID. Just told them what room I wanted it for and they gave it to me.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was old but clean. Could use some recalling around the tub and tiles. Otherwise very good.

Wifi speed very low, rarely connected. Towels were torn, had holes in them and not clean.

My wife and I recently stayed for a week (Nov 6-13) at a Wyndham Days Inn, independently owned hotel in Redwood City. Due to my disability, I requested an accessible room. I also wanted a king sized bed, but I couldn’t have both, and the disability was the more important amenity.
There was one standout positive note about this room. The accessible bathroom was nicely done. I use a cane, but even if I had been in a wheelchair, I would have been able to wheel right in. The tile and mirror were lovely. There was, however, some rotted baseboard.
Another problem was that there was only one bath towel. We managed the first night, with one of us drying off with a hand towel. There was no hand soap in the dispenser. The next day we informed management of our issues with the soap and towels, and when we returned to our room that night, there were two bath towels, two hand towels, but this time, no wash cloths. Finally, during the last few days of our stay we had bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. There was hand soap. Another day we ran out of soap in the shower, but the next day, after informing management, there was soap again. It would be nice if before a client checks in that these dispensers were checked and filled. After our first night, we stopped at the office to have “breakfast.” I’ve never seen such a dismal meal. There is simply nothing to really recommend this Days Inn.
From the very first night there was an awful chemical smell when you entered the room which

Parking is dark and the rooms are dated at best. The bathroom baseboards were coming off and had mold all over them. Toilet didn't flush half the time and there was a constant whirring sound in the room. A/C was a window unit not that it was needed but no heat.
Breakfast was bread and a toaster, cereal and make it yourself packs of oatmeal in the micro. Coffee was not too bad but didn't stay hot in the thermos'

There were bugs in the room. I killed two. These were not cockroaches though…. Sink was draining very very slowly. Room could definitely use more towels. The area around is not somewhere I’d want to walk alone, especially at night. What was good? Beds are very comfortable. If I am ever in the area again I will probably stay elsewhere.

Terrible property, cockroaches in room, no phone, paint coming off walls, sliding door broken, etc. etc.
Dirtiest property (room) I have ever been in during my 60 years on this earth.

It was a bad experience, we couldn't rest on our business trip, the beds were in very bad condition, there were cockroaches, nothing is like they advertise in the photos, we came to a Days Inn, it should be fine and it wasn't, we didn't have a good time there

Comfortable bed and welcome staff. 55” tv is surprise and awesome.
Of course it’s not the perfect but it’s worth for the money.

Cockroaches, 1 in my bed, blackout drapes off hook and had holes where bright light directly shined making room like daylight at night. Paint peeling off ceiling and falling off above shower. Room had so many blotches if different wall paint to cover up dings that it should have been repainted in it’s entirety. Stated breakfast however it was more of a continental breakfast without juice. Needs a good remodel.

Traveled with broken foot for appointments at Stanford.
Staff was amazing! Took care of all my needs and requests.
Room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is there was a lack of electronic plugs available. And for an ADA room, the light switch by the beds was too high.
Would stay there again.

Basic but perfectly adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful, assisted me to figure out local public transit.
There is a main bus line very nearby.
Windows do not open.
Windows look out directly onto the walkway to other rooms, so privacy requires keeping curtains closed. Security was adequate but the door lock and safety latch were both pretty basic. Acceptable but not ideal for a single woman.
Room was clean and had the expected basics - soap, shampoo, tissues.
There is no safe or secure place to leave a laptop.
The morning light breakfast had croissants one day, but only sliced packaged bread the second day, but I didn't expect more for the price.
Parking is ample.
Despite being right off the major thoroughfare of the Camino Real, the place is set back, so is quiet.

I was surprised the rooms are upgraded, and looked very good. I had no issues during my stay. I would recommend this place as sleep and leave. The location is great in redwood city.

Very basic. Stayed because of proximity of meeting. Pool nice, big screen TV a nice surprise. Air conditioner/fan very noisy.

Room was very nice, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was provided, it was simple (in that hot food was not offered), but it was good. I would stay here again.

It was okay. It served it's purpose for us, which was a spot to sleep for a night and close to Stanford.
The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. There was no one at the desk to check me in. I waited 15 minutes for someone to show up.

check in went well staff was very friendly. Had to come to the desk a few times for extra towels and some general questions and each time Staff was very friendly and polite. Beds were super comfortable. I just wish there was more seating in the room. We came for a soccer tournament and came back to make sandwiches and eat lunch. There was 2 chairs to sit on. Having a desk with 2 more chairs would have been nice. Pool was clean and the boys had a good time swimming. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay here again. Also it's right next door to a Ferrari dealership so that's a nice view to have!
