Excellent location right across from Bryant Park. Hotel was exceptionally clean.

We have stayed here quite a few times and typically have an awesome view. I was disappointed that we did not have a view and we were checked in to a smaller room than I had confirmed.
We were moved to a larger room, the front desk was accommodating.
Great location for Macys parade!
To ensure a view, make sure the room description states view!

if you’re visiting during Thanksgiving, this hotel offers a prime location to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The rooms are clean and modern and offer a relaxing retreat after a busy day of sightseeing.
The staff here truly goes above and beyond. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and friendliness. Arlene on reception was fantastic.

Our second time staying here - and we will definitely be back. Prime location right by Bryant Park and a short block to just about any subway station you'll need. The property is clean and quiet - a big deal in the center of Manhattan.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was smaller than I expected but was fine for a long weekend. The shower was nice, good water pressure. Very little privacy between the bathroom and the rest of the room, and the walls of the room are quite thin so you could hear everything in the hallway.

Wonderful hotel with attentive staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Rooms are well appointed and quiet. The black out shades are much appreciated. Location is great directly across the street from Bryant Park and the NY Public Library and a quick stroll to Times Square and the theater district. Will stay again.

Despite being built in the last decade, there are only 2 elevators for all guests AND staff. One was out for the 3 days we were there and no sign it was going to be functioning soon. Check in staff could care less! And the stairs were filthy and you couldn't enter the lobby if you went down the stairs on wrong side if bldg. which no one mentioned..no signage. Oh, when I mentioned had only one robe in room (2 guests) and needed tissues, desk person tried to correct me, saying tissues were there. 20%tip automatic on Terrace restaurant but you don't know that until you see the bill....even if just picking up morning coffee....which not very good either.

We found the room to be small for the 2 of us, and only 1 drawer for our clothes, wasn't enough. But we enjoyed our stay, and the location was great.

A good hotel in a convenient location. I had a room facing the front on a lower floor which meant the considerable noise from the street was audible late into the night. It’s noisy New York City so I should have thought this through a bit better!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel and rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The provided water bottles in the hallways were convenient and the terrace was very nice and well maintained. It’s a great location in terms of being able to easily walk up and down 5th Avenue, and only a couple blocks from Times Square and the subway. Bryant park is beautiful and we spent time there to enjoy its offerings. There were a couple of nice cafes and restaurants just at the base of the hotel and we found great restaurants close by in walking distance. There’s a Whole Foods close by where we picked up snacks for the room for the weekend. For the price, I don’t feel the amenities are there and it would have been nice to have room basics such as hair dryer, iron, and mini fridge, but being NYC was not surprised and still had a very comfortable stay.
