Thin walls and creaking flooring. You can hear room next door talking, and loud crackling sound if your neighbor is walking.
The entry is right next to the bar on the same wall, but hard to see if you arrive at night.
Other than that, it’s clean and close to the train depot.

We were in one of the 2 rooms with a balcony. Very nice to be able to sit out and watch the people and take in the views.
Note: there is no front desk I was sent a code to my room door. And the steps up to the rooms is steep.

Super easy check-in and the nicest place we have stayed on our 10 day girls trip. Wish we could have stayed longer. Only negative we would have is that the walls are thin and the neighbors were very noisy, but not much can be done about that.

We had a very clean, updated, cute room with a microwave, small refrigerator, large size shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There were extra blankets and a fan and extra free-standing heater. The shower had the very best water pressure we’ve ever experienced! It was very quiet and just what we needed for our visit in Silverton!

Room was a little small, but it did have a nice size mini fridge, microwave, and stocked coffee station. It did not have a desk or a chair to sit in, but they did bring us a small chair upon our request. Nicely kept, with nice bathroom. Only real issue we had was the overwhelming fragrance that seemed to be something you put on carpet, or air fresheners, but it was very very strong and we do not care for fragrances to begin with.

Really enjoyed the code for simple check inn, stopped at the Mexican place downstairs right when we got it, wasn’t expecting the lack of AC but we opened the windows and weather was perfect.

Room was a little cramped, but for an older building it’s to be expected. Overall, we enjoyed the room.

My wife wanted to take a trip though several mountain/ski towns and Silverton was one of our stopping points after hours of driving. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but the (Cottage) room where we stayed was very nice - with a comfortable bed, clean shower, and a nice walk-out balcony. Room became much more comfortable with the ceiling fan on (going full speed).

The hotel room was beautiful and the staff were great! My only complaint was that the room doesn't have an air conditioner, so if you're temperature sensitive while sleeping, this might be an issue. Other than that, I had no complaints.

The location of this hotel was convenient. The room was clean. I got almost no sleep because I could hear the bass from the restaurant below until midnight and any move the person in the room next to me made was also loud and kept me awake. I would not recommend this hotel if you need a good night’s sleep.

My only complaint is the shower curtain needed to be taken down and washed. It was the type that unsnaps for easy laundering but looked like it had not been done in a long time.

Bent Elbow is a nice option for Silverton. The room is cute, but quarters are tight as it's only as wide as the bed and 2 nightstands. There is no elevator, which was fine for me, but could be a challenge for anyone that requires assistance or traveling with large luggage. Lastly, it's located above a restaurant and bar and it will be loud from the afternoon through closing, which is reasonably early for a bar.

The Bent Elbow was an interesting stay. The room (or possibly the entire hotel) was at a tilt. Laying in bed felt like you were laying on a hill at an angle. There was even a tilt in the mattress from having been laid in and having most of the weight distributed to the one side. The hotel was cute and quaint
