Just a Days Inn so not expecting any luxury. I stayed here when the hotel was brand new- a few years ago. It’s pretty run down and worn out now. Musty, stuffy room that smelled like cleaner and mold/mildew.
Stained carpet and bathroom counter. Torn and worn couch and chair.
Bed was pretty hard and pillows were as bad as can be.
It was just a short stay over while on a road trip. Front desk people were efficient and not issues there. They don’t do breakfast anymore. Dinning area looked like it was being used for storage.
Mostly stopped at Days Inn for cheapest room and they have a better dog policy than most. They don’t don’t have weight or size limits and charge $25 per night for a dog. This worked out to be the best deal in the area for short stay over.

It served its purpose of a place to lay our heads. It was was just ok. I did not appreciate the fact the breakfast machines were not working and could not have breakfast there. It was peaceful.

Check in was very smooth. The front desk went above and beyond to ensure we had exactly the rooms we needed. Our stay was for six days and mid-way the staff changed our towels and sheets and refreshed the rooms for us. The manager then made contact to ensure we had had our rooms cleaned. The hotel is going renovations so you can tell management has already acknowledged the need for an update. I look forward to my next visit to Houston!

The cleanliness was top notch!! Nice smell when entering the property. Shower was clean and spacious. The pillows were soft and supportive. The room was pitch black at night. Even being next to the elevator, the room was quiet. Those are things important to me. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

My day was terrible there was no plate in the microwave the room smelled like mildew as soon as you walked in the door the bathroom door would not shut or close they advertise breakfast but there was no breakfast I asked the front desk for a fork and she replied that they didn't have any utensils available but they sell stuff at the front desk such as soups for you to purchase to eat. There was nobody at the front desk when I went to go purchase things from the store there I had to wait over 15 minutes for somebody to come take my money or to have something charged to my room the service was terrible people that were rude very unhelpful and the room was just beyond dirty

Issues with false advertising

The sheets and pillows had stains on them. The curtains did not close. They did not have towels and when I asked for towels they said maybe in an hour. They also did not have breakfast as advertised.

The attendant at the front desk was not so helpful. The breakfast equipment was supposedly not working but other guests had complained about the same thing reading the reviews back in 2023. I call that false advertising for “complementary breakfast “. The curtains didnt meet so i had to rig it to make it darker. For the price paid, it was a terrible value. I wont stay at a Days Inn again based on my stay here.

I was in Houston for a baseball tournament. After playing in the heat all day my boys wanted to swim. Pool was closed. No continental breakfast, no ice machines and asked for extra towels and they did not have any. They should have made me aware of these things before I got the room and they did not mention any of itz

Lots of things didn’t work at the hotel - breakfast area was shut down, only the ice maker on the 1st floor worked, internet was spotty, tv in the room didn’t work. The person who checked us in mentioned all of this but we already booked non refundable rooms so we were stuck there. Do not recommend - the hotel next door is much better. We stayed there the following weekend

Stayed a week and no housekeeping the entire time even when requested. Room was very dirty and sheets were scratchy and permanently stained. No breakfast at all and laundry couldn't be done because machines are down. Feels like there is zero maintenance and maybe one housekeeper for the entire hotel. Guy at front desk in afternoons was void of personality and rolled his eyes at every question. AFTER checking in he told us that there was no breakfast because "the machines are down." Our dear friend paid for the hotel before we got there, which is the ONLY reason we stayed there. I bought cleaning products and disinfectant spray to scour the bathroom before we used it. I suggest others booking a room there do the same. And take an extra pillow and sheet with you. I was so glad I had because none of the pillows there had pillowcases and when I asked the guy at the desk said they had none. This place feels like the owners have left the country and no one responsible for customer service is left working there. Very disappointed in this Days End. Not the brand standard for sure!

Stayed only one night and checked in very late in the day, the room had a strange smell, did not go away. Continental breakfast was done away with (not sure why).

The hotel did not server breakfast which would have been nice to know prior to booking, it took 6 times for them to activate my key. The room had no closet door, the room eye holes were filled with paper towels, the pillows looked like staff had been using the room to nap, and they had to race in and change pillow case because it was dirty. The first night we had to shower with hand towels and the second when we asked for towels we got one. The whole hotel reeks of smoke and marijuana. This is possibly the worst represenation of what the website shows compared to real time. I feel like our money should be reimbursed as this was not what we signed up for when requesting a stay.

No maids, no complementary breakfast, no power due to storm, no compensation. Staff appearance unprofessional, could not tell the difference between staff or residents.

Days Inn is conveniently located, but they did not provide the breakfast, as they were supposed to, the TV was not working, there were damages to the wall in the bathroom which I reported to the front desk, and the handset of the land phone line could not be connected and used due to a faulty plug. I think, I should get some of my money back.

I called ahead of time before booking. Asked if all was ok and functioning. Frontdesk clerk said yes. I did the booking and on arrival to check in... the frontdesk clerk asked me if I knew they was no breakfast being served... I was like nooo... what do you mean? He said expedia should had updated their info for their site, mentioning no breakfast is served as machines down. I called expedia and they said it was not them but Days inn to be doing that. Anyway... as we was already there... we decided to stay. Big mistake! We had to check 4 rooms before deciding on one of them because of old sent... cigarette sent... bathroom look not right... what to do.
The room we took had mold around the bath tub the water was leaking and the frontdesk clerk did not care or mind 😒. That was sad.. for the environment and for the hotel water bill. But this room sent was the only to do for us. On our stay we had 2 roaches crawling on the walls and 1 mid-size by the entrance door. On the last night they was a 🌪 alert and power went down... also generator blew up and most guess plus their kids had to sleep at the lobby area. Overall I gave it a 3 because I did not feel frontdesk was helpful enough, the bad sent of the common areas and the rooms I had checked. It seems like the hotel is closing as no snacks or drinks available at the frontdesk. The walls in the room looks dirty and messy. What a mess.

The lady at the reception desk was kind and allowed us an hour early check in and I appreciate that very much since I had my elderly mother with me that really needed to lay down after our drive. Although it was shocking to be in the room and have someone( room service) walk in unexpected. I was given a room that wasn’t completely ready. One bed had not been changed and the staff member only added the bed skirt , dropped off towels and left. The next morning I noticed it was dirty linens because there seemed to be coffee like stains on the side . It was also missing the warmer blanket. Tried dialing front desk but the phone didn’t work. We left for some errands and when I came back notified the receptionist, who then called Denise to help me . Denise walked to our room with us and very apologetic and kindly took care of changing out the bed. She was great and we got to talking and introduced each other. I give Denise 5 stars for great customer service !!! The other disappointment was to not have the breakfast available. There was a sign that said it’s closed until further notice. My sister was a given a room on the first floor and it smelled terrible but was able to move to third floor and that was much better. I can see they’re working on things but it was not as expected.

Front desk staff was high on something. Smells old. NO breakfast as advertised.
Room was musty. Sheets were stained. TV not working. Halls smell moldy. The only thing that worked was the AC. Questionable area.

Let me tell you in one word “beware”! The room has an odor, they only have sheets and a designer strip at the bottom of a bed of each and every bed. Had two different rooms and both were the same couch in the king suite was tore and ripped up. They serve no breakfast and have no breakfast said their kitchen was broke down, but I was told it’s been like that for months and they’re not fixing it. The overnight staff was rude and hateful and she made the situation worse with her attitude. The overnight staff does not answer the phone if there is a need in a room. This is one of the worst places I have stayed. I was also told they have a bug infestation of roaches . That they are trying to get under control. But I did not see any thank the Lord! It definitely was not even worth it. I am certainly telling you run away from this hotel. It is horrible!

Room was infested with roaches and had bed bugs. Bathtub / shower leaked constantly. Iron had mold in it and tv didn’t work. Kitchen was non-functional so complimentary breakfast was not available but we were not informed at check-in.

The stay was only a short visit, and I understand you “get what you pay for” but.. it was very off putting upon arrival. The moment we opened the door it smelled of mildew and we had to use room spray just to circulate the air and smell seemed to get worse with the AC on. I kept sneezing and my nose was stuffy throughout the night. The bathroom was DISGUSTING! We didn’t even shower in there and left by 6AM because we were uncomfortable. The bathroom had mildew/mold in the grouting and the hardware was falling apart and it looked like there was puke on the walls in the restroom corners and there was flakes of it dried on the walls too. Kids were hanging out in the lounge area in late hours, and running the halls past midnight. Overall sound was terrible as well, hearing slamming of doors all night too. We usually never book small hotels like this, but we definitely learned our lesson. I wish I would have taken photos of the restroom at least, but I was happy to leave EARLY.

I booked a cheap room at an average hotel, I didn’t have high expectations. But no matter how cheap a room is, I should at least be able to expect a clean room. There was something nasty on one of the walls, the entire area around the air conditioning unit was visibly, disgustingly dirty, the shower had mold, mildew, and hair, on top of there being dust and dirt on the floors. To top it off, we weren’t told until we checked in that there would be no breakfast served the following morning because of broken machines. That wouldn’t be a deal breaker but it was one more negative thing on top of many others. There were other problems as well (be sure to check all the locks and latches in your room before settling in). I’m not a fussy traveler, this hotel is rated and priced the same as many other hotels our family frequents, but I would never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone. Had it not been so late and had I not booked a non-refundable room, we would have left and gone somewhere else for the night.

The size of the room was good and it was clean, but we couldn't get clean towels in the morning to shower we were told we had to wait an hour to 2 hours and when that time was up. Still no available towels and then the Kitchen was closed.

The first room was not made up but the second room was excellent!
