This is a wonderful non cookie cutter hotel. It is less than four minute walk to Aspen gondola and less than two minutes to free public bus for Snowmass. It simply could not be more convenient.
There is no elevator from the entrance to the lobby so if you cannot manage stairs you will have a problem. The elevator works from lobby to the rooms.

Overall excellent stay. Large, Updated room in old building. Comfortable bed, robes and towels provided for rooftop hot tub. Breakfast included fruit, bagels, toast, oatmeal packets, microwave burritos and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Location in Aspen was central but parking included as website states does not mean you can park on site or nearby. The central area in Aspen you can’t park overnight except for motorcycles or scooters. We parked about a 5 minute walk away with a pass provided by the hotel.
The room was great except for the fact there was little sound proofing- voices on street and street sweeping/construction at 6:30 am on a Monday morning were unexpected for a mountain getaway. The only con to the room was very small restroom with an awkward door configuration.
Easy checkin and checkout, finding the entrance into the building is difficult to see from the street as shops occupied the lower floors. Enter on pedestrian court. Stairs going down into the building and then up once inside may pose difficulties for someone with mobility issues or unable to lift suit cases. Once in lobby nice elevator got us to our 3rd floor room.

Overall good but I feel if I stay two nights and they told me they do housekeeping every other day, I don’t think that is acceptable

Great location, nice rooms, reasonable rates. They’re aren’t a lot of amenities which we wouldn’t use anyway.

VERY old / unrenovated room. Dark (inadequate lighting). AC loud & unable to close window as AC system had a thick rubber hose from unit to exterior of the building through the window. Lots of blue tape securing hose - Not a good look. Aside from noise unable to close shutter on window because of the hose, so afternoon sun streamed onto bed. TV sometimes had no picture or sound. Shower 1970’s. Cleanliness poor - Left over toothpaste cap in bathroom & something blue in the room under table (didn’t investigate). All a bit depressing - Stayed out longer to avoid room. Not a 4 star, at best low end 3 star. Great location.

The location is the best! The building is old but our apartment was spacious. We always enjoy the music festival and there is nightly music across the street.

This was a cute hotel but we had a couple of issues. Our air conditioner would run for less than 5 minutes and then make a banging sound and stop. I complained and I was told that someone would look into it. Our room was on the side of the bus station and between the banging air conditioner not working and the people talking loud at the bus station at all hours, we had 2 nights of terrible sleep and we only stayed there 2 nights. If the air conditioner would have worked properly, it would have drowned out the noise at the bus station. I complained again when we were leaving to the guy at the front desk.. the same guy that said he would have the air conditioner looked at by maintenance, and he told me “well u are paid in full, have a nice day”. I seriously could not believe that he didn’t offer any discount. My other complaint is that you have to walk at least 3 or 4 blocks to find parking which was absolutely nuts. Although that hotel was cute, the other problems ruined it for us.

Very unique accommodation experience. Absolutely loved room in eclectic design, comfort, shower power, and quiet. Impressed how all rooms are of different decor. Ease in access to town dining and activities. Disappointed and surprised in challenge of checkin with transporting luggage from afar and parking arrangements beyond hotel. Complimentary breakfast was very basic. Rooftop with beautiful views of mountains and city, though unclean and weathered stairway. I had higher expectations given Aspen and cost of stay.

Rooftop views, right next to paradise bakery with live music each evening, A/C, free breakfast items, super comfy bed, all awesome!
Only thing we didn't absolutely love was the noise from people leaving the bar across the street, some nights as late as 1:30a.m.
Most rooms are probably quiet though, and it was still totally worth it!

The location is excellent! The rest is not worth the price tag. The room was dusty, and the blinds were broken when we arrived. We had problems with the door’s lock, too, and the staff wasn't helpful, leaving us with the challenge of trying to lock and unlock the door. Many times, it took us over 5 minutes. Later, a super lovely lady came and helped us out! Maybe I had bad luck with who was there for the first half of my stay. I love Aspen, and I know it can be pricy, but I don't think this one is worth it. For this price I would stay at another property.

The building could definitely use and upgrade and the unit I was in was oddly laid out and lacked a closet. It was also quite noisy through the windows.
But the staff was friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic.

This property is in the center of Aspen, and the location could not be better! Close (2 blocks) to Aspen Mountain gondola, near to many restaurants and shops. The staff at the property were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lackluster and really can use improvement. Our room was decent, but very worn and should be updated. Note, that due to its location is is very noisy at night (people, trucks, etc.), so it is not for you if you are a light sleeper.

Very convenient location but no parking on site, so be aware if you drive you have to park 3-4 blocks away. There is also no one to help with bags up to or down from the room.
The room was great, very comfortable. And the roof top hot tub and patio is great with an awesome view.

We loved this place. Incredibly convenient to catch the ski bus to all the mountains (Aspen's main bus stop is right outside the door). The rooftop hot tub is amazing. I'll be back.
