The view of the canyon was amazing. The room is centrally located and close to food and trails. Parking is not easy but it is expected at a popular national park.

Great hotel for longer stays. Not really a one night hotel. That being said the accommodations were nice. The only downside was you needed to drive to the registration office and restaurants. Also no handicap parking

Amazing views and great location. Was gutted when they closed the park so we couldn’t stay for both our nights. The view alone is worth it but also you don’t have to queue to get in the park as you are already there.

After lunching at El Tovar we marched down to Kachina. There's no way in without a room key. We circled around until asking someone leaving that told us there is no desk, check in is at El Tovar and they did the same thing. Frustration quelled by being in one of the world's most beautiful natural wonder.

Great location to the Grand Canyon. We loved that we could walk outside and be right on the rim. Wish the hotel had sliders to a patio but otherwise it was fine

Cannot have a better location for the South Rim. 30 feet out the door and you are there. Just breath-taking!

This was a great find. Perfect location without the added expense. It is bare bones but met all our needs. Parking is tough though. But walking was just fine.

The person at the desk at El Tovar was amazing. Very helpful and gave us so many options for food as we were so hungry.

Price at one of the world’s most amazing attractions was understandably high, but we did expect a better experience. Our door was jammed, and would not unlock. The reception /check in was in a different building (El Tovar) next door, & after two visits to the front desk later, a maintenance person arrived to get us into the room. The building needs refurbishing- it’s getting run down & shabby. Parking is a nightmare & we were warned not to move our car if we found a spot! That said - the location is amazing.

Being right on the edge of the Grand Canyon is a definite plus. Except for the finicky key card / door locks, we enjoyed everything about our room. Well designed and comfortable.

The property is Motel 6 level. TV reception was spotty. Being inside Grand Canyon was cool but the company that operates all the hotels knows they have a captive audience. Restaurant choices are minimal. The food and drink are minimalistic and pricey. Next time I’ll stay outside the park.

Hotel room was excellent, clean, quiet and comfortable. Walkable to other hotels but other hotels had front desk, bar/lounge, and restaurany. This one did not but you could walk to others. Would be nice if there was a front desk or small bar to gather. Perhaps that is why it was so quiet which is great.
