Amazing really amazing !

Excellent hotel, offering a different kind of hospitality, beyond what you'd normally find in a luxury accomodation. Everything seems to be thought through and the attention to detail is top notch. Really an impressive experience.

This is an interesting new hotel where I think the "kinks" are being worked out. There are few to no general access areas to sit and relax (lobby, grounds) and the bar and restaurant area is small and access was crowded due to many non guests coming in to access the facility.
The location of the hotel is at a premium, and overall the hotel is a very nice place to stay, although I wonder if non guests should be allowed in at all.

A truly exceptional hotel. It differs significantly from other five-star hotels. We only found the service at breakfast not optimal. Otherwise everything was great and an absolute recommendation.

Wow. A beautiful hotel with an outstanding garden, pool and grounds. Great service and food. The Roman baths and spa massages were top notch. You felt like you were in the countryside of Provence but you were in the center of Nice in historic convent buildings.

Interesting place. Firstly the good bits, the spa is amazing, the staff are nice, the restaurant and bar are lovely and it’s quiet and tranquil in comparison to the area, which is busy and very touristy (as expected). Now the not so good - the room faced other rooms and people in showers and in bed! The shower room didn’t really work with just a curtain separating from the bedroom. The drinks offering was crazy! full sized bottles of spirits at quite crazy prices! A Sonos speaker that wouldn’t connect and has to be done via the Sonos app! The room was smelly from the drains (sometimes), the power sockets were all in the wrong place and at ground level, which is crazy for a place that opened 4 weeks ago. The cost for breakfast is ludicrous! The main pool is small but in a lovely position above the hotel… but you must be fit and without any physical disabilities to get there.. the way up is also not very nice.
It’s way too expensive for what you get and please don’t try to get there in a hire car.. we spent an hour looking for the place and then walked from a car park.. oh the hotel do have a meet and greet area, but no one told us! Also the hotel charges €60 per day when the actual cost is €30 per day!?!
A rip off joint if ever I’ve been to one

One of the most unique and charming hotels I have ever visited. Beautiful and well-designed at every level while paying homage to its history. This is a must-see.

Very nice hotel, great location. Pool is lovely with a great view. Continental breakfast at 48 euro a head is steep and then charged a further 16 for two top ups on coffee left me feeling the service was a little impersonal and commercial. There was a ticketed event on for the public both evenings - dancing - right in the middle of the hotel courtyard, with speakers etc wrapped in black plastic bags during the day. Took away from the ‘oasis’ within the city vibe it’s supposed to provide.
Overall it was nice but maybe overpriced.

STAY HERE!!! I'm staying here now and can't say enough good things about it. I normally feel excited to be in a new place and want to get going. However, as I entered the courtyard a few days ago, a feeling of serenity overcame me. I realized I could not feel anything except relaxed and at peace while here. Yes, I've been around the city, but have chosen to eat and relax here most of the time because of the ambiance.
Specifically, it feels stately with large stone walkways, halls, and furniture. The finishes in the rooms are all new and beautiful while still retaining the feel of the property. Wonderful beds, linens, plush towels and robes and everything else one would expect from a true five-star resort. The staff goes overboard to be accommodating while not being intrusive. Good personalities and senses of humor. Warm and welcoming. Knowledgeable. Other niceties: fresh flowers in the room, nespresso-type coffee machine, high quality furniture, twice-daily room cleaning and refreshing, a roman bath with changing rooms available even upon arrival along with access to the pools before checking-in :)
Location is truly incredible with gorgeous views of all of Nice and located in the heart of Vieux Nice. I can't think of one single thing that I would suggest needs improvement. The staff has learned that based on the cost, some patrons think food etc. is included, so they make that known early in the stay. Same with the mini-bar items.

This hotel is so great! We made a last minute reservation and ended up wishing we had stayed longer. The property itself is beautiful and so
comfortable. I love that there’s no TVs in the rooms. The pool was gorgeous and not overly crowded while we were there, and the Roman baths were awesome as well. Fun to check out after being in the sun all day. Also, all the toiletries are amazing!!! The little shampoos and lotions are custom and super cute and there’s cute hand soaps too. The staff was super nice and gave me some more soap when I asked (for a souvenir!). I found the staff to be super responsive via the What’sApp chat and they brought stuff we asked for very quickly. The hotel is also in the old town of Nice and it’s very walkable. Can’t wait to come back!

The most magical hotel! The staff was attentive and so helpful. The property is stunning, beyond what I imagined. Every detail is immaculate. If I could rate my stay higher than 5, I would! A must stay!

Lovely and peaceful but in the heart of old town

Everything was great, rooms were very clean and had a unique old French feel with modern comforts. The mattress was comfortable. The parking situation is a little chaotic but it’s not that big of a deal. Need to call ahead and valet will meet you.

We have had four unbelievable days at the new Couvent hotel in Nice. The hotel is a precious gem and the delicate way they have turned an old monastery into an underplayed luxury design hotel is a masterpiece. Right in the middle of the Old Town and just a few blocks from the sea the hotel is perfectly located. But all this is not the reason why I write this recommendation (and I almost never write reviews). The reason why I simply have to tell you about this place is due to the service. After having been in operation for just 10 days the staff was able to make us feel like everything was designed for us to have a great time. No matter if we interacted with the head Consierge or one of the cleaning ladies the services was excellent to a level we have never experience in southern Europe before. What a lovely place - we have found our home in France. ❤️🇫🇷
