The location is ok, and the rooms are nice and clean, with delicate bathrooms. Very kind receptionist who provides good service. Would recommend if you want a nice stay for a low price.

Let’s start with the obvious. It isn’t a 5-Star hotel. I wanted cheap, and I got it. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They could not have been nicer. The property is old. The facade - and I use that word intentionally - is under construction. When finished the facade will probably look great, but behind it will be the same old hotel. There is smoke in the walls, smoke in the ceiling, and probably smoke in the floor - I didn’t go down to check the floor because it wasn’t clean enough to eat off. The shower is tiny but had good water pressure and hot water. The location is not terrible. Near the Temple of Heaven and the Pearl Market. Close enough to the subway. I didn’t have time to check out the nearby park, but it looked good. If you don’t mind an older property that is cheap, this might be your place.

The staff were very friendly and helped us book taxis and Tiananmen square as well as letting us check in early, providing bottled water and letting us leave our bags in the hotel upon check out. The air conditioning and shower is good. The hotel is a little far from a metro station but taxis are cheap so it doesn’t really matter. The bed was quite hard.

Nice personnel. The owner let me leave a big bag with stuff for when I came back again after visiting other cities. Also helped me book sightseeing tickets to another part of China.
