The staff was delightful! The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean, and service was excellent throughout the stay. The lodge itself is very fresh and pleasant considering the age. The location is absolutely perfect. The heated pool on a winter night is unforgettable.

A little tired, but great location. The property is a little tired, but still quaint and "good enough" for the price for a beautiful and inspiring couple of days in Vail. Right next to the old Vail Village, but removed and protected enough to be quiet and peaceful. Right at the base with great access to trails. No food service and pretty poor coffee in the morning. No major complaints - just make sure your expectations are not upscale Vail with everything ship-shape and new.

We had a travel scooter for my husband. They really accommodated for it! Miguel covered it up with a trash bag when we parked it outside! Would not take monetary offering for going above and beyond either. Impressive young man!

The hotel does not have air conditioning. It needs refurbishing. Housekeeping opened my door on two separate occasions when the do not disturb sign was out. I use noise canceling earbuds for phone calls and did not hear them knock. Room was quite noisy as windows needed to be open and a 10 year old box fan put into one window to cool down the room. No valet, to park car you have to get card from front desk, open lot gate with card, park and return card. Not pleasant after dance performance late at night in rain. Pool is kept at 90 degrees F so not a place to cool off during day. I would not stay there again in the summer. Ski season might be different.

We liked the very friendly staff and the ambience of the hotel. The room was dark and got very hot despite the fans in the rooms. I would have preferred a ceiling fan.

Great location, clean and very, very helpful staff. Pool area beautiful, breakfast very tasty and conveniently located. Only negative was that there is no a/c or ceiling fans and we stayed during a heatwave but with fans provided and open windows the room was pretty comfortable as Vail cools down at night. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Doesn’t have AC and though the nights are cool, the rooms hold onto the heat. Ceiling fans would help.
Shower curtain was not at the right height so bathroom floods when you shower. Staff very nice.

Great location, but few hotel amenities. Comfortable too, but owners really need to throw a few dollars into the place to repair defects and update it.

Only thing that we didn't like was no air conditioning and it was rather warm in our room at night. Even a ceiling fan would have worked nicely. Other than that, very charming hotel and friendly staff.

Christiania Lodge was the prefect place to stay for our evening at the Vail Ampitheather. Close enough to walk to the venue. Rooms were lovely, pool fantastic and the staff was welcoming.
