The property needs to be more lit at night so you see the numbers on the rooms. They need a hot tub!

This property was beautiful and the customer service was outstanding. Ferra (I think is how you spell her name & Deondre was amazing. When I arrived in Belize my phone was stolen at the ferry and I was using find my iPhone to track it. Deondre (the person who picks up guest from the ferry) came and immediately took me to the police station to get help with approaching the people who had stop my phone. Once that was over he took us to a place to have dinner and then to the resort.
One thing that’s important to note is the transportation. Once arrived at Belieze airport we had to take a 15/20 min cab to the ferry doc this was about $30-35 next we took the ferry to the is (Ambergris Caye) this was about an hour or so but the view was absolutely beautiful so I didn’t mind the ferry at all. The cost was about $55 for a round trip or $24 one way. When the ferry arrived I was picked up by the resort and the ride was about 45-60 minutes by cab or 20/25 mins by boat (the resort has both options free) so I’ll be honest this resort was a little distance but it was worth it. I looked at MANY resorts and the weren’t nearly as beautiful. So if I had to do it again I would definitely pick the same resort. They have two beautiful pool areas, a spa, gym, right on the beach and a nice restaurant. Not to mention my beautiful two bedroom two bathroom condo style room. Plenty of space. I loved it, it was super clean but I spent most of my time it the pool.
The resort & staff were amazing.

Not much variety of food, no activities in pool or hotel, barely no staff at night, only one boat to San Pedro 7am returning 5pm.

Everyone was great! The chef came out to see us. The food at the resort was delicious. Lots of fish off the dock for snorkelling. We loved it!

If you truly want to get away from it all this is your place to go. It is the 2nd northern most resort from San Pedro. Very quiet, but beautiful. The staff was great.

Everyone, please read this before you go. It is far from town! The drive is painful and enjoyable. I would highly recommend looking at other options. It's like the owners of this resort stranded everyone on this side of San Pedro and over priced everything to scam the guests! The food was horrible! I feel bad for Ken! He's so lovely and deserves to run a better place because this place is a dump. I would never again return to my life. We left early; this could've ruined our entire trip, and the worst part about this dump is that the prices are so high!!!

The facility is new and beautiful. The pool and pier are great. The service staff is very kindly however wait and bar staff need more training and supplies. Barn had no soda water, tonic, ran out of draft beer, Usually took a long time to get a drink or meal service/

We had an excellent experience at this resort. We did have to ask to get the $100 resort credit as they didn’t have it on file and it was a promo that should’ve been included in our booking.

My experience at Margaritaville was deeply disappointing. While the resort may have been clean and well-maintained, it was overshadowed by several significant drawbacks.
The frequent power outages were a major inconvenience. It's frustrating to be staying at a supposedly luxurious resort only to find yourself without electricity for extended periods.
Additionally, the limited dining options and poor-quality food further dampened our stay. We had hoped for a variety of culinary experiences but were met with disappointment instead. The fact that there was only one restaurant option available during our visit was truly disheartening.
Furthermore, the lack of staff and missing amenities described on their website added to our frustrations. It felt as though we were not receiving the level of service we had expected or paid for.
The explanation that this was their "down season" did little to alleviate our concerns. If it truly was their off-peak period, why continue taking reservations and providing subpar service? This inconsistency left us questioning their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Moreover, the logistical challenges surrounding transportation highlighted another flaw in Margaritaville's operations. Having such limited boat schedules meant that guests were essentially stranded on or off the island if they missed those specific departure times – an unacceptable situation for any vacation destination.

The property is nice, but services are absolutely poor. Food is terrible. We had problems with the boat, our fridge not only was not working, but the management neglected for two days. The tv was not working either and the group blocks access to cell phones/laptops, blocking screen mirroring. A lot of things unnaceptable. The dinner for New Year´s Eve was incredible. USD150 each without drinks, only a welcome cocktail. One option as a starter, a Lobster Bisque which finished before our dinner. Two options of main dishes (only steaks), unacceptable in a Caribbean Island. We ordered the Ribeye medium rare. Both of them were served much more than well done. We decided not to try the desserts. The staff tried some times to be kind, but with absolutely no training. No one could give a precise answer on anything - places, tours, distances. Our suite was supposed to have a fully equiped kitchen. That was another joke. Two pans, one knife, not a single tray, a tin. We were not treated in a polite way by the management, which simply limited to say: "There is nothing I can do". Last, but not least, the invoice brought no description of the services and of the items purchased and we could even confirm whether all food/beverages referred to our suite. Many guests reported that were Karisma members and were deeply disappointed, considering no contest the worst hotel in the chain. I will make a formal complaint to Karisma Hotels. All pictures and invoices are available to confirm.

We had room 812 and even tho it’s a new resort, I don’t know if it was inspected because our bathroom had absolutely not one electrical outlet.
We cannot do our hair, use electric razor, plug in makeup mirror, nothing. And it’s not like we couldn’t find it, my fiancé is an electrician. He thinks they drywalled over it. I had to use a plug in bedroom but it wasn’t near a mirror so had to use my hand held mirror to do hair.
The sand bugs were absolutely horrible. I have about 50 bites on my legs & same with other guests. They need to spray.
I did not know they charge a daily resort fee per person on top of price & many things were extra. For ex, you have to pay $75 to use the bbq if you wanted to cook yourself. There is just a fridge in room, no kitchens to make your own food like other resorts on island.
The Pickleball court is included in the resort fee, but they wanted to charge you to use the paddles and balls.
Very remote & far from town. So not being able to make some meals in room was very inconvenient. You don’t have another option to eat but in their restaurant.

The property was great, the staff, service and food was exceptional. Pool area and drinks were great as well.
However, property location is super inconvenient if you're planning on doing more than just stay at the resort because you will be 1-2 hours way from the downtown of San Pedro.
When we landed to San Pedro's Airport around noon, two staff members received us there and drove us on a golf car (wich is one of the island main transportation) to their office (that was 2-3 minutes drive). They offer a shuttle boat to the resort but it doesn't leave until 5:00pm which means you will not get to the resort until around 5:30pm - 6:00pm unless you pay for a taxi that cost " $100usd pp" cash.
After you're at the resort you can stay there and relax, and enjoy the quietness.
According to the staff to enjoy the beach, the best time to go is December and January because of the Sargassum. For me, I didn't like the moody feel of the sand at the beach resort.
The resort only offers two shuttle on at 7am from the resort to the downtown and back a 5pm. We rented a golf cart for 1 day to go to Secret Beach without depending on the boat. For the golf cart you, front desk will help you requesting one, FYI the will call for one and someone will bring it from downtown to drop it off at the resort, plan ahead to have it by the morning or at least 1.5hr before the time you need it because is not grab and go. The cost for the golf cart was $55usd for the day plus $30usd for the dropoff.

This resort has been such a great place to retreat away from city night life in San Pedro. We were able to relax our days there and enjoy activities provided at the same time. We went kayaking, bicycling, star gazing, karaoke, crab race, beach swimming and pool swimming in both pool locations. I was also able to do my nails in the spa which was nice and lovely. There were massages provided but I didn’t get the chance to enjoy that. I will next time for sure! The chefs were super welcoming and nice. They introduced themselves to our family and the food was super incredible! The staff were all super sweet and helpful. The suites were super clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back for another getaway! Thank you Margaritaville for a great time during our stay.
