We had a great stay at the property. It is well situated and walking distance from the old town. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around.
Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I return to Gallipoli

Good accommodation, close to the city center and car spaces next to it, but do not forgot to ask for it.

The care and quality with regards to the bed and bath linens it's amazing.I worked for 25 years in the commercial laundry business, and this hotel group simply deserve 5 Stars within that area.
The front desk and house keeping staff were simply FANTASTIC. Special thanks to Miss Michela.

We loved our stay in Gallipoli, at Hotel 33 Baroni. We had a bit of an issue when we checked in, they sent us to a lesser room than we booked. We went back to the front desk and they put us in our correct room (which was much better than the first one they tried to put us in!) We had two little terraces and a view of the water. They also had to be told about our Expedia free benefit (bottle of wine) but it was delivered when we requested it. We loved the historic town and walked to it many times, had great dinners both in the historic town and outside it! We spent some time on the sandy beach in town as well. It was lovely watching the boats move around the area from both our room and the little restaurants/bars on the street on the circling the historic center. They reserved a parking spot right in front of their main entrance (our room was in a different building but still extremely convenient.) Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a great three night stop on our Puglia adventure!!

The room was ok.
The service was mediocre. Not warming welcomed. Only Italian speaking. No explanation of the city and what to visit.

The best part about Hotel 33 Baroni is Sabrina who works at the front desk. I arrived by bike and was worried about leaving my bike outside overnight, so she personally carried it down to their lower level and secured it for me. And then carried it back up the steps the next morning. And she did it all with a smile!
The hotel itself is good. I had booked a small room with a seaview and balcony, but when I arrived they didn't have any left (After looking at the hotel from the outside I didn't actually see any rooms like that). But they upgraded me to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the street. The room was clean and comfortable except there was an ant problem. I didn't realize it until late that evening and was too tired to care about switching rooms at that point so I didn't say anything. I hope the ants enjoyed my snacks.
Breakfast was good and is served on the rooftop terrace, which does have a nice view. And the wifi was fast and reliable. It's also walking distance to lots of restaurants and stores, and just a short walk to the old city. I think for the price and location, it's a good option if you're looking for something in or near Gallipoli.

Great location - easy to find. 10 min walk from the bus stop from lecce and a 5min walk to the train station. Only 5 min walk to old town which is lovely. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel is new and clean and only 2 blocks to the water. My room had a balcony and could see the water from it. Lovely roof top deck to relax on. Only negative comment is their breakfast is poor by Italian standards and they charge for it.

The building looks nice from the outside - Hotel reception & lobby looks great - The language barrier is a hindrance as no one speaks English well - The sockets are different & not the usual European adapter - The bed was horrible! Just two single beds put beside each other that kept coming apart as you slept & you could feel the groove between the two mattresses as you slept which gave me back pain after a while. so ended just sleeping on one side/a single bed. - The toilet sprayed toilet water over the floor when flushed, even with the lid down. - The cleaners had no regard for people sleeping. They make the most noise possible every morning, including banging your room door with the hoover in an attempt to clean - The breakfast is abysmal! Just bread & cakes literally, no hot food whats so ever despite them claiming a buffet. Despite the above, the staff were friendly & cleaned well. I would call this a 5 star B&B not a hotel!
