Our room was beautiful!! Two queen beds and a pullout couch. Anita was amazing keeping our room spotless everyday!! She even moved furniture to find my missing earring! Check in was easy, fast and they were friendly. The concierge was horrible! He was the laziest one I have ever spoken to!! They are supposed to give you suggestions of what to do but he said “I’m just here to book stuff, not give you suggestions, I don’t know what you want to do”! But the hotel was beautiful and in a great area! Quick walk to the beach, too!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I’m beyond thankful that we chose the Beachcomber for our vacation. I’ve stayed here before, and I’ve stayed at other more expensive locations on the beach & can tell you this is perfect! Clean & all the comforts you need. Super efficient & their attention to detail sets them above the rest. I don’t know how they get every single staff member to be so incredibly kind, but seriously from the desk to the valet & housekeeping, every single person was so helpful & kind. They took such outstanding care of us. The location being right across the street from the ocean & the condition of the hotel and amenities are like new every time I’ve stayed over the years. This time my family got food poisoning so I spent several days needing help, cleaning up after them & healing them up. Thankfully I found all the supplies we needed at Target & Longs drug store nearby & housekeeping kept us taken care of day after day. It was a huge relief to be somewhere clean, comfortable & efficient where they actually cared about taking care of us in our time of need.

This hotel is awesome, right in the center of the city and with great ocean view in the front and mountain terrain in the back. The staff is so accommodating, the pool was easy access and there is Aroma Cafe for breakfast/lunch. Would recommend 10/10 perfect hotel to stay in!!

Hotel is in a central location, close to everything which was great given we were first timers. We had a partial ocean view room, the view was fabulous. Room was clean and perfect for 2 people. Beds were comfortable. Only drawback would be the resort fee at $40USD is excessive given there are not a lot of ammenities at the hotel compared to others. Would consider staying here again given its location.

Duke’s Alley is right next to the hotel where you can buy cheap souvenirs, and is also within feet of luxury shops like LV, Dior, Prada, etc. For food, restaurants abound: there’s Marugame Udon a block away, a Musubi Cafe Iyasume within walking distance, a great tempura place in a mall a street over, and Duke’s is really close. And best of all, you just cross the street and the beach is right there.

I love this outrigger. Right in the heart of everything. Quick walk across the street to the beach and duke’s. I love the little restaurant inside. They have the best acai bowls!

Our experience at OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel was confusing, unpleasant, and unprofessional. First, there was a system glitch-possibly related to how hotels.com handles bookings, causing us to placed at the Beachcombers instead of the Reef, which we clearly booked. but the end we received the confirmation for Beachcombers instead. The two stars are purely for the location, as it is conveniently located in the middle of busy and commercialized kalakaua Ave. However, that's where the positives end. The hotel rooms are outdated with poor shower drainage system. Worse part of the experience was paying $50 for valet parking, only to find severe scratch on the driver's side door. The staff were extremely laid-back and dismissive about the situation. We will not return nor recommend this hotel. We Hope Hotels.com can better distinguish between the Reef and Beachcombers in the future.

This hotel is in the middle of the strip everything is walking distance. The Cheesecake Factory is across the street, so many restaurants you can walk to, there's an outside mall with so many restaurant choices and shopping stores. The beach is across the street and it's beautiful. This location is honestly top notch. The staff at the hotel were amazing, cleaning staff came by everyday to clean our room. I was very happy with my stay and I will definitely stay here again.

Overall it was a good experience. I will say the customer service was great. I gave it a 4 because of two things. 1) The pillows were quite lumpy and I had a hard time getting comfortable. 2) Due to my window facing the afternoon sun, the air conditioning could not keep up with maintaining the room a comfortable temperature when the curtains were open. When I first checked into the room (around 4pm) it was 77deg in my room even though it was set to 72. I pumped it down to 68 and closed the curtains, but it took till about 11pm before it finally got down to between 70-72. I had to keep the curtains closed besides early morning and after dusk to prevent the room getting too hot for my liking.

the rooms were nice - but the pool area is REALLY small especially when there are many rooms in this complex. The breakfast wasn't great and when we were sent to the cafe - we were given a menu and then advised we could only pick from a few of these items. very disappointing considering the other reviews. Close to the beach which was nice and the day staff super friendly. However at 11pm the fire alarm went off and we all had to leave the hotel - unfortunately there were no staff to help - my mother had to help another elderly man and as he could hardly move - they sat on a step in the stairwell so he could catch is breath - my sister told a staff member - but still no one came to help. There was no direction for anyone and no one offered any help. finely they made it downstairs and my mother had to ask a security guy for help. he was reluctant ...
