We had an enjoyable experience here. The staff and owner were very friendly and professional. It is an excellent location, good view of the ocean from the suites windows and balcony/patios. The ocean is nice to swim in here. The pool is refreshing, clean, not much chemicals (if any).
The suites are clean, large, comfortable, well appointed and well maintained. In the suite is a large fridge, real ground (not instant) coffee & coffee maker, full size water cooler/dispenser, smart TV (with Netflix or whatever else), strong wifi, great air con (x2), comfy beds and linens.
The food in the restaurant (including breakfast each morning) was delicious, with large portions at a great price. The Korean food is so good, but also the international and Filipino offerings. The staff constantly gave us complementary dishes and side dishes; they made us feel like VIP guests every day.
We will stay here again, as it is perhaps the

We loved our stay at Retreat Siargao. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly had to depart. We left fully relaxed and revived. The pool is so welcoming and there are plenty of areas to settle in and enjoy the views around the property. Retreat Siargao will always be on our list of great places to stay when we are back in Siargao.

Beautiful resort with swimming pool facing the sea. Quiet, peaceful but still close to General Luna. Rooms are all suites. Spacious, cool AC and clean. Manager Cecil looked after us very well, arranging tours and transport in a personal way.

We had a wonderful stay at Retreat Siargao! The room was spotless, spacious, and offered stunning views. The staff truly impressed us with their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond. The location was perfect for us - peaceful and quiet, yet just a short tuk-tuk ride from the lively town center.

The location was great. 125 steps to the private beach that was great to wade/swim. The complimentary breakfast was nice, certainly not gourmet...but plentiful and Filipino, with Western options. The staff could not have been nicer. Always friendly and caring. The owners dinner was delightful and delicious.
The resort is convenient to General Luna with lots of nightlife and interesting options. Too far to walk, but a tricycle is only a few minutes call away and there was never a wail.
The facility is certainly not luxury, but spacious, clean and comfortable.

The food at the hotel was exceptional, with a great variety of dishes that were both delicious and satisfying. What made my stay truly memorable, however, was the staff. They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway

Bugs…so many bugs! Of the 7 places we stayed in the Phillipines in the month we were there, this was our least favorite hotel. The first night there, the AC was not working. They gave us a fan and fixed it the next morning. We did not sleep well with the heat. The second night when we came back to the room it had hundreds of bugs. They moved us to another room, but it ended up having a ton of bugs too. They gave us a complimentary island tour for the bad experience, which was nice, but I would never stay here again. The windows have large gaps and are not sealed properly which lets way too many bugs into the room. Also, I think the owner could have been more empathetic to our experience rather than so dismissive of what we went through and his staff’s lack of helpfulness.

This property is a beautiful, green, peaceful getaway from General Luna and Cloud 9, but still within easy travel distance to both destinations. The beachfront is very nice with a lovely, long walkable beach and swimmable water at high tide. The outdoor pool onsite is crystal clear, clean and beautiful. This was a very relaxing resort with spacious rooms, dining and outdoor areas. Thank you, Jason and staff, for a lovely stay. We hope to be back soon!

This property is a beautiful, green, peaceful getaway from General Luna and Cloud 9, but still within easy travel distance to both destinations.
