When I arrived at Heritge Hotel early evening in the 20th Nov 2024 I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very chatty , polite and very welcoming to the extent that since I booked a expensive suite I was given a complimentary breakfast , I was asked to fill in form stating what I would like for my breakfast the form
Was returned and received by the very nice staff in the resturant . I was served the breakfast and it was nice. However I was then asked to pay for it and I refused telling the staff to contact reception as I had been given a complimentary breakfast . I returned to my room and the phone was ringing and it was the day receptionist who was very rude and told me I would pay for the breakfast and it was not complimentary . I told her I was not paying for it and to contact the nice lady who was on reception the night before she then hung up on me. Very soon after I went to reception and a local girl with dyed ginger hair looked at me and said we contacted the receptionist that was on duty the night before and she did say I had been given a complimentary breakfast and that she had decided to uphold the fact that this had happened . I was by now getting very angry as there was no apology or politeness from
Her and you could see in her face she was very angry .she said you owe 5 dollars hotel tax and three the card reader in front of me I refused to pay until she acted correctly with manners . She then went to attack me

Rooms was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was great, like entering another world from surroundings. Adjacent street was noisy with loud booming music late into the night.

I did not like the fact that the shower is very very very old and needs to renew all together. The floor of the tub has rost spots. the tiles on the floor needs to be changed. the entire room needs to be re-done because its very old fashion. this would be my last choice of hotel if I were to go back to Antigua.

This is an older hotel, not too far from the docks. You can see the cruise ships from your balcony. It was clean and accessible with ramps outside and an elevator. It is right across the street from cute little shops and a few restaurants. Every place I went into took USD. Need to be careful crossing the street. Cars come flying over the hill sometimes! Staying there was great…part of the adventure!

Room with balcony was fine until 10:00 PM. Loud thumping music, singing, shouting from nearby club kept me awake until 04:30 AM. Hotel could not change my room but they were considerate to allow me to check out and have the following nights refunded.
