Accommodation in the park is very expensive. Please take the apportioned park fees in to account.
However, if you stay in the park, this place is recommended with an awesome view, very friendly staff, spotless and an real Africa Safari feeling. Recommend

I urge americans to steer clear of this place. This stay was something out of a horror movie. I booked and paid on hotels.com in which the owner claimed her never got. Allowed me to “stay” as a courtesy but literally hounded me around the property for proof of payment. Upon checkout, my safari company received an eerie call 2 hours later in which the safari guide told me that the hotel needed me to go to ARUSHA to show proof of payment!! Imagine being in the middle of africa and having to go to an office in the middle of a foreign city to show a receipt that I knew they had. My safari company made it seem as if the hotel was not going to let me leave town without showing them. Safari company had to derail the tour (I was with 6 other people) to go inside an office located on the 3rd floor in some shoddy area where the “accountant” pretty much tried to shake me down and asked “So what are we going to do Ms.Knight) as if she wanted me to pay some ransom money to be left alone. I let her know in some nice words Im not some stupid american and you can’t extort me. NEVER AGAIN will I stay with this company. This ordeal left a sour taste FOREVER. Owner still has not responded months later. The people that work in the hotel (chef, porters, etc) are nice but the accommodations were not comfortable (bed felt like concrete, no hot water and the owner is a SCAMMER). Beware!!!

The lodge is very run down and cannot be 4 stars at all. It’s a shame because it has an amazing location but it’s not a clean and comfortable stay at all.

Great location only minutes away from the Seronera airstrip. Rooms are nice but bathrooms could use a refresh. The hotel is built into the rocks which is very beautiful. Nice dining room with good food. Lunch was cheap at only $4.
