Very quaint hotel - all the main sites in Arcos are easily walkable within a few minutes from the hotel.
Some of the finishes are a bit dated - I think it's perhaps more of a 2-star hotel and even the plaque on the outside of the hotel only has 1 star but, as I understand it, the Spanish hotel rating system is undergoing updates.
The room we got definitely had a different feel than the ones pictured online (again, more dated) but nevertheless it was comfortable and did the job for our one-night stay.
The shared spaces are lovely, including the rooftop patio. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Note that there is no parking but the front desk staff kindly advised us that on streets where the curb and lines are painted blue, street parking within these marked areas is free. On a complete fluke (we were lost trying to find paid parking, lol), we were able to find blue-marked areas on Av. Miguel Mancheño, an approx. 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Pros.
Good location, underground parking 5 min away and we got 30 percent discount from hotel.
Lovely views from bar area to the old town and country side.
We had a room with a spacious private patio with amazing views
Dog friendly and 10 eur fee is on par with other hotels we stayed. Dog bed and bowls provided
Big, comfortable bed
Mini fridge, coffee machine and capsules
Good air con system in our room (402).
Cons.
Jacuzzi didn't work.
Patio needs some TLC
Cleaniningless is a bit lucking
No elevator which was ok for us but people with mobility issues might struggle.
Very tiny shower and bathroom, I guess it's ok but we are very tall and healthy people
Receptionist didn't speak English so communication can be an issue
Pillow was very high and hard, had trouble sleeping.

The terrace and the views are great, but unfortunately there are more negative points than positive ones.
Staff on arrival could have been a bit more friendly.
Awful, lumpy pillows, very low bed and no lift to get to the top floor. Breakfast not worth 5 euros for a small croissant from Mercadona and a juice.
Watch your head when walking around the room: the ceiling lamps are so low that you might hit them.
They have no car park. You can pay for acar park nearby or leave the car in the street.

The place is a pleasant surprise we did not expect. We stayed on the 3rd floor facing the white roofs of the city. The view is awesome, especially at sunrise. The room is well decorated with tropical setup, clean and comfortable. The staffs are warm and welcoming. The breakfast was very good with local recipes. For parking, we need to park at a garage 5min away. Street parking was not possible near the hotel.

This hotel has the potential to be absolutely amazing - the staff are friendly, it's got a great location and really beautiful rooms. However, there were a few things that let it down:
- it came up as an option on Hotels.com for a hotel with parking - this isn't the case, there is only parking nearby at €15 per day, which was an added inconvenience and expense considering we specifically filtered for hotels with parking
- we went for a Superior Double room to take advantage of a private terrace - while it's private in the sense of technically only we were meant to have access, in reality we had people walking down to it (we were at the end) and it's right next to next door's area so very little privacy.
- the decking on the terrace was splintered and the table so wobbly it was almost unusable
- the bathroom smelt vaguely like sewage
- no amenities such as fridge, safe, hairdryer
- shower screen didn't join up with bath at bottom so constant water on floor
- noise travels a lot from other rooms
- we were told hours for breakfast and they were also in room so we thought it was included - only to be presented with a bill at check-out for €5 per person per day. The only choice was a sandwich with a choice of filling and a drink, so this seemed expensive, especially when no-one had mentioned it was an additional cost!

Nice location. Short walk to the historical route. WiFi available in the common area but not in our room. Breakfast is simple and cost only 3euro per person. Parking is 2 min walk in the underground parking garage which costed 10 euro per day.

I loved the fact it is located right on the street where you need to start your walk throught the town. It is very quite and have a beautiful terrace to enjoy the evening and have a drink after a long day.
Do not have a proper restaurant, but they do offer a spanish style breackfast: molletes with ham, cheese or jam, coffee or tea.
It is a very simple hotel that accomplished our need for one night.
The staff-owner was very friendly and helpful when asking for places and so on/

The unique sellingpoint of this hotel is the top floor terrace, overlooking one of the white neighbourhoods of Arcos: it was really perfect for breakfast in the sun (February!) or some afternoon reading. Staff was very friendly, helpfull and trying very hard. The room was not very big for the 3 of us and the windows were tiny, but OK. Some noise from the neighbours. Arcos is absolutely recommended for a visit!

Difficult for people with reduced mobility. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. No parking outside hotel. Car park available approx. 100 meters in next street at 10 Euros per day. Downside was it was uphill to get back to hotel. I'm sure it works well without walking sticks. Very comfortable accommodation once settled in.
