Good experience overall, but being the more stylish hotel of the three Ibis in Schiphol, it lacks the amenities, services and resources of the others (ibis Airport). There is not even a luggage scale available!

Parking outside access only, good breakfast, quick and friendly checking. Very nice bar staff! A little run down in the bar area, and not quite keeping up with the clean up in the restaurant/bar area in the evening. Good, adequate bar meny for evening, special deal on pizza.
Room ok for the price, close to airport for the next day early flight.

All in all a good hotel. It’s a bit out in the middle of nowhere but it’s an airport hotel. Great for one night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Only complaint is that the room is cold. It was fine for sleeping. But we had time to kill so cold for hanging out.

Perfectly adequate for a stay before a flight however the shuttle service to the airport was not frequent enough (every 40 min) and I had to get a taxi.
No restaurant and pillows too soft were my only complaint.

The entrance to the hotel is an extremely small revolving door. Be aware of the 2” lip around the perimeter. Concentrating on getting my wheeled luggage in, I caught my toe and fell, headfirst, into the glass, hitting my shoulder and head on the glass hard enough that it should have shattered (my head took the brunt of the fall). The girl behind the desk never came to help, ask me if I was ok, if I needed anything, etc. I was shook up, my husband said that I was stunned, almost knocked out for a minute. She nor any member of management or staff did anything. My husband helped me up and inside to a chair.
Is this hospitality? Is this hotel not in the hospitality industry? Do they not train their employees to act in emergency situations?
The “lip” on the door should be highlighted in some way or a “Watch your step” sign displayed. I’m sure I was not the first nor will I be the last to fall. I was just one of the lucky ones who wasn’t badly hurt.
Shame on you, Ibis Styles. Train your management and employees and show some consideration for your guests-they are paying your salaries.

I stayed here in August and paid for stay via Expedia. However upon check-in I was told that I had to pay the full rate since it was not paid. I paid for it again and in the middle of the night the same room was provided to someone else who entered the room when we were asleep. The staff knocked on the door in the middle of the night asking who I was and what my name is. They apparently did not enter the information. The next morning on check out I was told there was a mistake in payment and it should not have been collected.. I was told to email them for a refund. I still have not even received confirmation on this and they still have not refunded my $215 they charged extra. I have emailed them and tried to contact but no luck so far. I would be very careful staying here and ensure you have all documents and receipts. It’s been more than 10 days now and there is no response from the hotel. I would rate this as the worst experience in all of my travel so far unfortunately.

The shuttle service is very convenient. The butter chicken and spring rolls with the spicy garlic sauce is delicious. The staff is super friendly. I stayed here in March and made sure to book here again during this recent visit. I was not disappointed.
