In many ways I liked my stay, I found my room very cosy. Good layout of the room, bathroom perfect, good water pressure. It was on the 3.5th level, no lift, but that was fine by me. The walls are paper thin, so it is essential to bring an earplug. The English breakfast was excellent if that is the type of food you are going for.

Enjoyable 2 night stay though the hotel room was noisy, music from the bar could be heard until late at night and the walls are rather thin. Still, got for what I required and good value.

This hotel is in a quiet but walkable part of Douglas with easy access to the Prom and the TT fan village just watch out for the hills. Would stay here again.

Comfortable room, though I was put in the Rosslyn which is 2 doors away from the bar and room not as nice as photos suggest. Breakfast not served until 8am which isn't suitable for a working trip and early starts.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was a standard English-cooked breakfast with cereal and canned/fresh fruit offering - no major frills. Common areas were clean, but the room could have been cleaned better on arrival. The location is just one street back from the main promenade - good for seeing Douglas. Rooms were in different buildings, and there was a lot of noise from the water pipes in the morning and evenings, as well as hearing people moving in the corridors.

Unfortunately the property identified a need to pay on arrival despite my previous payment for the stay.
Resolving the situation prolonged and complicated the checking in process.

We stayed in the family suite with 2 twins and one king bed. Very beautiful room with high ceilings and large bathroom. Great for our family of 3 adults. Location was fantastic and a quick walk to the main road, nice walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant. We had a great breakfast every morning. The chef and hostesses were very accommodating and pleasant to talk with. We were able to get into our room early as we arrived on a very early flight. We really appreciated the ability to check in early, since the room was ready. We loved our location and would highly recommend.

The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, although as is typical for buildings this old the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. My only real complaint is that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, and tended to drop out randomly or just become very slow. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and I'd happily stay here again.

Room was great. Really clean and felt fresh. Our room was located across the street in a different building but only couple of seconds walk from the main building and person at check in desk walked us over to show us where it is. Very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Had a choice of English Brekfast or Vegetarian, cereals etc

Brilliant stay, enjoyed the apartment and had a great time in Douglas! The accommodation was roomy, beds really comfortable, loads of storage and kitchen lounge area great for the kids to play... In all it was a really good experience, the apartment could do with a few essentials such as cloths, sponges, dishwasher tablets, cooking oil as it is self catering but difficult to see ahead of time what is included. Welcome book and Instructions would be appreciated and provide reassurance for guests.

Wonky floors, seriously bad smell of gas in the rooms and generally a depressing outdated venue.
