I was nervous when we walked off the train to see the front of the hotel covered in scaffolding and repairs but we got a beautiful view of the mountain and town. The shower temperature would constantly change, luckily never too hot or too cold but it was strange. Large flat decorative pillows were the only pillow option. The man who checked us in and out was extremely nice, welcoming and friendly. The rest of the staff at front desk were reserved. Restaurant is pretty good.

Soo grateful for their service!!! Note to guests to read the email that you need to check in ahead of time and that they have specific hours for check-in because the town closes down around 10 PM. The most important fact is that we were late getting into the hotel past the check in time. There were several mountain passes that were closed, and the three hour trip turned into a five hour trip. Which was through the mountains in clouds in the pouring rain. We forgot to call ahead and check in early and make sure they knew we were arriving past the check in time, so were very nervous that we would not be able to check in. We had to take one of the last trains up the mountain past midnight and the town was so dark we had to use a iPhone light to find the hotel. No, that said it was our fault, but we walked in and the doors opened and they had a key ready for us, which was the best feeling ever. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which are well needed however the breakfast was outstanding and had a beautiful view. It had a pool and outdoor hot tub and was conveniently located steps within the train. The service is great. They helped us find good hikes to do and we just walked to the cable car from there to get further up to other mountainside villages and to Jungfraujoch which was a bit costly, but was worth every penny.

Same menu for Breakfast every day. So if staying more than a couple of days, it gets boring

Average place, but I don’t think there’s much to choose from in the area.

The location is great which is next to train station and COOP.
The entire hotel is under remodel. We did not know when we booked. The hotel should give guest a reasonable discount for that.
The room is tiny, not too much space to put luggages.
We stayed there for 5 nights, the breakfast are same, we are tried on the last day.

Staff was super helpful and kind…especially since they were packed full with Marathoners. Great breakfast buffet each morning and nice downtown location. Portions of the hotel is under restructuring with scaffolding on mountain side but that didn’t bother us. We didn’t have a chance to take advantage of the “wellness” parts of the hotel (pool, etc). Enjoyed it and would stay a gain. They should probably offer reduced pricing considering the construction but IF they are selling out then probably don’t have to.

The location was perfect. Right next to the train station and walkable around the beautiful intimate town Wengen. The staff were so nice and friendly and they gave us a room with an amazing view from the balcony. The breakfast was very good for the price we paid. My only suggestions would be the bed needs a sheet. We had to use the bed duvet as a cover which had a very rough and poor quality fabric like their pillow cover. Also would be nice if the room had some kind of AC. Overall we had a pleasant time at this hotel and I highly recommend it.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable with beautiful sceneric Balcony. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Property was ok.
Wellness center lady was super mean. She yelled at us for no reason at all. We always swim with swimming shirt which is a proper swimming shirt. She was not ok with that. We had to show her where we bought the swimming shirts and then she let us swim. I would never come to this property again.

Probably the best view I've ever had from a balcony window. Great spa. Only thing keeping me from rating it 5 stars is a very outdated bathroom and almost no outlets to plug in anything, so room needs to be updated in those ways.

Worth every penny! We had a stunning view of the mountains and this hotel had delicious breakfast, and best of all, the location was perfect! It’s a walk from the Wengen train station which made it so convenient to get around! The staff was very helpful and friendly and I will be coming back!

View and breakfast and hot tub all👍
Shared balcony on first floor meant lack of privacy if other guests decided not to stay in front of their own rooms

Very good location, 2 min away from the rail. Food is good, spa was a bit disappointing, as they close early, indoor pool is unbearable hot, no English signs, indoor jacuzzi was not working, and outdoor one often had issues with launch button.

It need to be highlighted that property can only be accessed by train. We had to park our car on train station to get to facility. During one day of our stay 29 minutes train ride was disrupted and we have to go around on alternate route which took us 3 hours to arrive at the facility.
