Cons:The room was TINY! Barely enough room to open the door. My husband has a power chair and we had a hell of a time getting it in and out of the room.
The bed was hard. Noisy side street right outside our window. No easy access parking. Had to park in the back gravel parking lot and lug our luggage uphill around to the front entrance.
If you have accessibilty issues I would not recommend satying here
Pros: centrally located. Easy walking distance to everything including hot pots.

We stayed in a room with a patio and hot tub. We LOVED the hot tub that was fed with natural hot springs water! Also the spring water is used for the showers and the water is so nice! The staff were friendly and helpful. They offer coffee/tea in the reception area. The hotel is right downtown and next to the hot springs park plus walkable to all the restaurants. There is also a community patio with tables and chairs that we enjoyed with our family who was traveling with us.

The Hotel is cute and quaint. The rooms are very small. The tub is fantastic with the mineral water. Yet old and chipped up. Not quite the romantic atmosphere we were hoping.

Quaint little hotel, our room had a hot tub in it verses going to the hot springs. It made for small quarters but doable. The only problem was the blinds that need to be replaced and if you want coffee or teas you have to provide your own.

This my third time staying at Home Hotel Lava Hot Springs. Two adults only. Clean bedding and room, super close to the hot springs pools, free coffee and tea 24 hrs at their lobby, free parking. Lava Hot Springs is a small quaint and cozy town, no resorts or new five-star hotels there. I will definitely go back to Home Hotel again.

The place was in the most convenient location in Lava Springs. Older building, but well kept. The sink drain was slow though. Service was excellent. Overall cute place with clean beds.

Staff was friendly and the room was a good size. Huge bathtub! Our only issue was it was hard to control the temperature and pressure of the shower it would bounce back and forth between boiling hot and cold water.
