Beautiful property

The property was under reconstruction-which didn’t tell their guest! So every morning was woken up by that horrible noise before 8am! Even asked to stop… they didn’t! Really disappointing and bad experience! Also the manager didn’t come back to me although I was promised at the checkout! Don’t waste your money!

The hotel has a great location with the Zaadam train station, the room is very spacious and comfortable. The customer service is bad, when we arrived at the hotel, it had no customer service staff, it was chaos because of the Amsterdam marathon and we had no information about it. They must improve communication, the internet and customer service. My experience was very bad.

I was very happy with the room and the staff, which were fabulous. Unfortunately, on the 8th, around 10.30 PM, I got locked out when my keycard didn't work on the door. I tried to call the number provided several times, and didn't get through to anyone. I was very upset and started to panic. Luckily I wasn't travelling entirely solo this trip, and was able to stay with a friend in his hotel, which was uncomfortable because I was so upset. It was very stressful that there was no sort of emergency number to call, and I had no way to contact anyone. All my clothes and belongings were in the room too, so I had to sleep in my clothes. The next day, one of the staff replaced my keycard with a working one, and I was able to freshen up. Aside from this the air filter needs to be changed according to the climate control panel, so there was some dust in the air. I've emailed the hotel about the above a week ago, and didn't hear back. Even though when I was checking out, the very kind staff member said they'd send an email. This feedback should be easy to action to avoid similar experiences going forward. I'd suggest checking all filters for the rooms, and setting up an "out of hours" emergency number for when the bar is closed. If it weren't for these issues, my rating would have been a 5 star experience.

Had an amazing stay with Manzo’s, they were very hospitable and met our needs with the upmost care. The only issue was the taps, there was a leak in the tap but wasn’t much of an issue. Not a bad distance from Amsterdam city and very close to Zaandam station. Highly recommend staying here

The only thing that happened that affects this review was that they forgot we would arrive late and didn’t leave us the key.

Great staff they were very nice and helpful. Great place to stay within walking distance to a lot of different amenities and fun to explore.

I liked the Loft very much, but due to a lot of high stairs (with steps only, so gaps inbetween) it was impossible for my dog to move up. As well as for other people with babies and their stroller, it was a challenge. The staff did not offer alternatives. So not suitable for wheelchair or similar. Therefore medium. Room itself and location: very good!

This was a fab stay, the room was totally amazing. So spacious, and really enjoyed the sunken bath.

Lovely hotel bang in the middle of Zaandams lively little cafe square. Just off the High Street shopping area and 10 minute walk from train station which is only 2 stops from Amsterdam Central. Rooms are very modern and trendy and the cafe bar down stairs is always busy serving a good selection of food and drinks by a great team of helpful and engaging young staff.

The worst location to be a hotel. The hotel is located above the bar & resturant we could here the music playing until 4 in the morning. The hotel could not be reached by car we had to park our car a block or two and dragged our luggages passed all the way through the resturant full of custumers. The hotel has 10 rooms with no elevator we had to carried our own luggages the lobby which is on second floor with steep stairs and then to our room on third floor. This is a great hotel,with excellent rooms and friendly helpful staff. The hotel is in Zaandam about a 10 min walk to the train station so very covenant to the airport and Amsterdam trains.
