Rosa at the front desk reception was very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and had funky amenities — a salt lamp and turn table complete with a variety of albums including Donna Summers, which I loved.
The heavy glass shower door was not squarely plumbed and didn’t close properly. The seal on the bottom of the shower door was broken by previous guests trying to force it shut. It really needs to be repaired. The refrigerator was barely cool and appeared to be in need of repair also.
The hotel restaurant “Michele’s” is mediocre at best.i do not recommend it.

It’s is close to all the major Washington highlights. I really enjoyed !

I had a grand experience at this hotel. They were very accommodating with my check-in process. The only aspect I didn't like was how small the rooms are and the bathroom. Also, the way the shower door opens is completely unorthodox for the size of the space. Great hotel though otherwise!

We found several uncomfortable issues with our room on the 7th floor, facing the K Street:
- the windows are not sufficiently sound-proofed considering the loud noises coming from both the rooftop bar and the street. Had to use earplugs to sleep.
- the water controls in the shower are - under the shower in the back. No way of getting a shower without starting with a cold one.
- there were only 3 hangers in the room. Lots of rack space standing empty
- the breakfast offering in the on-premises cafeteria is unsatisfactory, for selection and quality. We suggest using other cafes nearby.
- the rooftop bar is like a very loud disco. Even the maitre’d at the door seemed to think we are of the wrong demographic- she did not raise her eyes from her laptop when we walked in.
On the positive side - front desk and valet services work very well.

Not your typical DC hotel. The room decor is warm and young feeling. Very comfortable bed and quality linens. The lobby vibe is a bit like walking into a recording studio. Wish I had time to take advantage of the cultural offerings. It's great having a grab and go cafe for breakfast. The hotel in general has a lot of energy and diverse clientele.

Our room was in the 8th floor. A night club is on the roof (floor 10) from 10pm-2am, the loud music was heard in our room between those hours. Lobby was also very busy durning those times.
The restaurant Michele’s is onsite, we were not impressed with the food nor drinks, over priced and very bland. We might consider staying again as it’s close to the Capital One Arena and was an easy walk- but would look elsewhere first.

It’s a nice hotel for a couple for a few nights. It was clean and central and had a fun vibe to it. Rooms are a little tight and the rooftop bar, restaurant and speakeasy weren’t accessible or were already reserved, so that was a bit of a bummer. Overall, would recommend it and had a positive experience.

Considering the point of a hotel is to have some place to sleep at night, having the least comfortable bed in history is not a good start. These beds are so hard I would rather sleep on the floor / ground.
Also The check in area is kind of in a hallway, so it made it difficult when there were a few of us waiting.
It seems like it was trying to do too much by being too trendy/unique.

Phenomenal spot! Hip & cool vibe. Coffee shop/bakery/sandwich shop in lobby (Baker’s Daughter) is great. Allegory speakeasy off lobby has incredible drinks. Rooftop bar, Wild Days, has its own awesome cocktails and light bites. Restaurant off lobby, Michele’s, is a nice spot for lunch or dinner. Wellness on 2nd floor has a gym, sauna, yoga, and massage. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable. Can’t race enough about this hotel!

The hotel is great! The aesthetic of the place is like the 80s. My all time favor is the water pressure on the shower. It felt so good & actually HOT water. I was impressed. We will be back.

There was an attention to detail here that I do not usually see. The room and facilities had their own classy design as well.
