We really enjoyed this cozy boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable, with quick ride by Lyft or subway to sights and sounds of NYC (without the noise and bustle when you want to sleep!). There are only a few rooms per floor -- felt like a private apartment. A corner deli about 50 feet from the door, which was handy. The room could use a few more outlets next to the bed and maybe a few more amenities in the kitchenette. But otherwise a great stay.

The best hotel I have yet stayed in in NYC. The neighbourhood is a bit quiet, but it is close to several subway stations that will take you into Manhattan in one or two stops. Rooms are large, well organised and some even with balconies.

Great stay! Very walkable to several subway train stations and in a nice area for the immediate radius of the hotel. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, which was extremely comfortable and what we were hoping for!
