This is a unique place. Probably not a good idea for people with mobility issues with the stairs and claw foot tub. The location is convenient to tourist areas and restaurants.

Large apartment style room. Full-size kitchen with cooking and serving ware. Clean and Comfortable. Away from the cruise liner and pier traffic. Right in the middle of downtown Seward. Parking is a bit of a hassle being downtown. Highly recommend.

Location was great....easy to walk to shops, restaurants, aquarium and stroll along waterfront trail. We stayed in the Wilderness Suite. Great having a kitchen, nice den area. However, if you plan on anyone sleeping on the futon in the den be aware it is hard a brick. Also double check to make sure linens are in the room for futon....we discovered very late our first frst night there were no linens. Also, as noted by others, it is an old building which we liked, but if you are looking new motel feel, this is not your place.

Hotel is a vintage building. Room was small but very clean. Bathroom was vintage but water pressure and temp were fine. It took awhile to get into the building and reach our room because we couldn’t get someone to answer the phone and give us the entry code to the building and our room. Picture on website was not an accurate representation of our room. Would not recommend if you have difficulty climbing steps.

My only concern was the communication given didn’t specify a check in time. Expedia said check in was 3. We got there at 3 and the room wasn’t quite ready. Inside it said check in was 4. We didn’t know.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable- linens provided were clean and plentiful.
We didn’t use the kitchen but it had the necessities. There is a bit of a musty odor- air fresheners tried to mask it but they were too strong for someone with sensitivities to scent. Otherwise good location and cafe close by was very good!

A beautifully restored century old hotel in the heart of Seward. Loved it! Wish we had booked more nights

This place is adorable! When you walk in, the decor takes you back to 1930. The code entry was flawless. I was needlessly concerned the codes wouldn't work, because that has happened to me before, at a different location.

We stayed in the Days End room. The room is adorable with a little kitchenette. It is perfect for one person. The building is old, so everything creaks. That makes it tough not to wake up your companion if you are going to be moving around the place while they are sleeping. Overall, it was a charming and clean place.

The number 1 suite is great! It has whatever you need for an enjoyable stay. Fresh coffee, and all kinds of soap is what I care about and got!
The place is vintage and I can appreciate such a place. If you like modern day first class I would say go elsewhere.

Property is great but there is zero parking. Received a parking ticket during my stay.

Really beautiful little apartment. Sourdough lodging was responsive. Would recommend.

Decent accommodations but the place is pretty run down.
The sheets kept falling off the bed and the two futons for our kids were pretty uncomfortable.
I reached out to report a minor issue and never got a response back.
Also - while our room was clean, it looked like the main entry way and stairs hadn’t been swept in a while.
For the amount we paid, I think sone serious investments should be made in the upkeep of the place. I expected more for what we paid.

It was a turn of the century building that fit our needs quite well. There was no bedroom and the doors were quirky, but the claw foot tub and comfy bed and futon were welcome. The history of the place was palpable.

I loved it because it was old charming. If you want new and antiseptic it's not for you. Right in the heart of old downtown. Easy walk to restaurants, clubs and even a grocery store.

Our flat was well-appointed, comfortable and clean. It was right downtown and convenient to shops, restaurants, and everything else we needed. We were travelling with 7 people total and we fit just fine. The two futons in the living room did the trick for us for an overnight stay.
